VIDEOS: STUD & STUD H/L LOCATION: ARLINGTON, VA
Ever since starting off his poker career playing Deuces Wild five-card draw with his friends in high school, ChipsAhoya has always had an affinity for unusual/mixed poker games (if an online site ever spreads Jacks Back, he'll be the first one at the table). After grinding limit HE for most of college, he became a student of stud, spending most of his poker time playing Stud 8/b, Razz, and HORSE games on Full Tilt at limits between 2-4 and 30-60. In 2009, he made his first WSOP final table, with a 5th place cash in the $2,500 Razz event for $38k. You can currently find him playing straight stud and mixed cash games, super-turbo SNGs, and working his way up the PLO limits.
At the 2011 WSOP, he won his first WSOP bracelet in Event #33: $10,000 Stud 8 or Better World Championship, defeating Phil Hellmuth heads-up.
