First blog ever whaaa hoooo. I've never had a desire to make a poker blog because I didn't really see a point with me being an average small/mid stakes grinder. I do love hip hop and sharing it with people. It seems there are at least a few people in the poker community that like hip hop too. So I am going to start a blog to display a specific artist each entry. If it gets any interest I will keep doing it, if not I will probably trail off and stop posting after a few weeks like most blogs :). So here we go and yes I am a gigantic hip hop nerd.

First blog is about Mr. Green and Pacewon, Mr. Green a producer from New Jersey and Pacewon an emcee also from New Jersey. Mr. Green is new-ish to the hip hop world but super talented in my opinion. His first beat placement was in 2006. He has a couple instrumental albums that are very good and one album with an emcee. The one album with an emcee is - Mr. Green and Pacewon - The only color that matters is green. Pacewon has been rapping since the early 90s starting out in a group called the outsidaz. The outsidaz were on a fugees album and used to rhyme with eminem before he blew up. afaik the outsidaz and eminem had a falling out and don't quite get along nowadays. Also, rah digga from the flip mode squad used to be part of the outsidaz.

On to the songs. Both these songs are from the album "the only color that matters is green" by Pacewon and Mr. Green. enjoy.
