so had a $100 day between playin a cpl tables of 50nl that were extremely fishy and grinding out the 25nl which was pretty dead for the most part today. got in 1k hands, and havent rly looked ovr the sessions. i looked at the early one quick after just to see where i was at as far as playin my a game style. thats alot for me so i woulda been cool with whatevr results just grindin. feels good knowin i can rack up the rake w/o bein as raped by it.

o but did watch the inaugration(?) today and it was great. just made me love this country. i mean how crzy is it the platform and building he was sworn in on/in was built by slaves. i mean that shit is unbeileveable. its about time tho imo. but yea that shit was crzy.

UPDATE(3AM): yo SO played another late session. relaxed a bit too cuz i was a bit tilted once i started goin over my hands after my early session. but did alot better this session. hardly any if but maybe one or two pots over $10 did i win but just played smart and stuck to the plan. for my first session i forgot about my goal that i set but i stuck to it in this last session and amazingly i had a much better session... will try to repeat tomm. will be up early to watch my man obama's parade and speech.. peace

AHH, very fucking frustrating way to start my day. passive table, guy utg had limped the last 8 hands in a row so i fugred i pop it up here. the only prob i had with this one was how fishy the guy was that was betting and just how aggro he had been(40/20/5 ovr 80hands). but again every card that comes off is fuckin terrible for me so i fold prob 2 streets too late. but i guess i gotta give him cerdit for one here? just makes me wanna rip my hair out when the biggest donk at the table keeps winning every hand i'm in with them. plus his initial bet of 1.5 is suspect as hell and then insta potting it on the other streets.

hey yea so i lost it all... hand histories that is lol. kinda makes me feel better about the whole thing that everyone is prob thinkin i was gunna say my roll. but yea, was tryn to delete some spyware or malware or whatevr the fuck it was and of course, not rly knowin what i was doin, deleted o just some file that was essential to my computers functionin.

BUT, a HUGE +EV thing, I FINALLY GOT RAKEBACK ON FT!!! god i've waited and waited, sent many a angry emails, and promised them in my last one that i was movin to pokerstars once i moved up in limit and they finally gave me it(not that i thnk any of that helped at all). this is really motivating me to wanna play alot now.

but yea, i lost everything on my computer and was unable to recover anything (shit loads of pics, music, hh's, favorite places, and.. well u get it). but whatevr i got ovr it earlier in the week after not having a computer to play on for the past week. now i'm just happy to be playin again and this old thing is running faster actually w/ a fresh and clean hard drive. my computer is a dell dimension 2400(from 2004-05 woah) for those of u that are curious. altho i got it for free, it DEF shows its age whenevr i try to get crzy and do more then maybe two things at once lol. but i did upgrade the video card and ram (hav almost 1.5gigs now, lol) which helped. but really time is tickin on this thing, and ill hafta loook to into an external hard drive or backin up this one at least so i dont lose my hh's just cuz that kinda sux. altho can anyone suggest a good desktop thats cheaper with the ability to last by bein upgraded ovr time?

BUT, i'm lookin at this like clean hard drive, clean slate poker wise(not that i've been doin particularly good or bad, but i have been way to results oriented). i'm just gunna put my head down and grind now for the rest of the month. put in 500 hands in the last day or so i've had the computer back and lost a bi total. not rly sure how i feel about it. my biggest pot was against a fishy player with AKs vs his AA pre. i'm just a lil disappointed with that one cuz after playin with him for a half hr, i realized he's prob never shipping pre unless he has aa, kk, or ak. i mean he was fishy for sure, but i will make the fold there in the future.

Played around 150 hands, i would say everything i didnt flop preflop i played awful. im pretty mad at myself atm just cuz i lost over a bi playing when 1) wasnt rly in the mood to play=prob played my C+ game; 2) played while watchin the second football game=not fully payin attn=my style completely not suited for playin with no real reads, and 3) my fuckin giants LOST today. i cannot fuckin believe it. they just gave philly the game so many times and let them stay it in when they should have went into half time with the game wrapped up basically with philly all disheartened cuz they had no offense till that 2 minute drive(and for the rest of the game minus like 2 passes). just typin this right now is tilting me. combined w/ my crappy early play and my alltime fav. sports team blowin there chance at repeating, the second session was prob a RETARDed thing to even attempt as i was already on edge. i also lost all my races with the short stackers to start the session (sry but i hate u ppl, get a life seriously and buyin for the measly $25 bucks, even 15 wud be nice) which pissed me off. usually i wouldnt even think twice about it...

this was the first time i had felt some tilt in awhile and im guessin football had something to do with it. i was upset for over a week when they lost the superbowl in '02 and couldnt figure what the reason was till my g/f at the time pointed out that i was actin just like her dad and then it hit me lol. so idk but still, something to work on: recognizing when i dont want to play and actually doin somethin about it. maybe just donk around in a cpl cheap sngs or play omaha h/l or somethin.

A LONG FOOTBALL RANT...
the thing that gets me tho is they blew it today and man, in the NFL a good team only comes around so often. it takes yrs of drafting, developing, player signings, coaches and about a MILLION other things to comes together to be a contender and win a superbowl.. and they blew it. they'll be back with a vengence for sure next yr once the d-line is unstoppable again when osi's bak(and hopefully sign or develop a #1 type receiver) but still. spagnola's gunna be gone for sure, WHICH SUX! plus gilbride has been interviewing too. and tbo i've never loved coughlin cuz he makes emotional decisions but hes good tho. also ward and jacobs are free agents and i dont think theres anyway they can keep em both. so im almost 100% sure theyll be goin with jacobs which is good and bad. cuz he is not gunna have a long career the way he gets banged up(or will he ever play a full season), also is a tad bit overrated, and doesnt follow his blocks alot. but it will be good that ahmad bradshaw will get alot more touches. that kid is crazy fast and i think will develop to be a serious force. he already has a highlight reel better then other teams starters. will suck to see ward go tho. signing a #1 receiver tho has to be the first thing they do in the offseason.

anyway i predict pittsburg will be this yrs champs cuz if the eagles sumhow miracle theyre way to the superbowl, they will have to play ALOT better to beat a team that will actually be playin up to its potential. plus they barely had any offence today and westbroke was completely shut down.(also jon runyan and dawkins are some of the leagues DIRTIEST players) the only thing that looked good was there d-line, eli on his own made their secondary look good. i guess the giants watched alotta tv this week tho cuz all the commentators said was how important runnin the ball was on the all the shows and all they did on almost EVERY 1st and 2nd down was run. stupid, cuz every 3rd down was 3rd n 8 or 3rd 9. plus shit had to open down field eventually, they had like fuckin 8 guys in the box on every 1st and 2nd down. wtf, earlier in the season when, i forget who they were playin, a team was doin that they started throwin on every run down, and passed on every run down for 2 qtrs and then still ended up with 300+ yrds rushin. i rly dont fuckin get them sometimes. plus coughlins challenge was retarded, goin w/ a QB sneak (which they hadnt done THE ENTIRE YR) was also stupid, give it to jacobs there. then on the OTHER 4th down they couldnt convert, jacobs doesnt follow his goddam blocks and tries to muscle it 3 yrds against the entire eagles dline and linebackers. dumb.

and goddam am i sick about hearin about plax. this games outcome is NO different w/ or w/o him. he will never play for them again and they won plenty of games this yr without him, he's ancient history in the world of the giants so move on already sportswriters jesus. they knew when they signed him he was a player with off the field issues but they needed a #1 guy so they made the move. they dont usually pick up problem players but this time they did and it cost them. i mean no team can keep winnin w/o at least one plaxico or shockey type players. this particular game tho it wouldnt have mattered cuz they didnt pass the ball enuff anyway.

the story of this game was how unbelievable it was they couldnt score ONE FUCKIN TD. and they also used jacobs WAAY too much. i like him alot but he aint no every down back and never will be(plus he has a tendency of not followin blocks alot). hes good for the first half of a game to wear down the other team and then ward and bradshaw come in and outrun everyone. and they did let ward play earlier on but wtf, then they only started havin him in on passin downs for the most part.
also, for BOTH sides, the refereeing was just TERRIBLE. not sure why they fuck up so much in the playoffs. also i cant remember a game this yr the giants had more then 3 penalties(i'm sure theres at least 2-3 maybe) and they had like 4 b4 half time. some rly interesting calls tho.. the spots were WAY off on 3 keys plays, the phantom illegal block that killed their field pos., and the other blockin out of bounds call(lol the block is what put him in out of bounds territory) that once again killed their field pos. then callin back that run play? i'm not at all agruin that it affected the outcome at all, but thats pretty drastic move to actually take a play back when they were wrong anyway. stupid, but then they did it again when they picked up the flag on the giants for pass interference as some sort of payback lol. i love how they do that in the NFL. anyway i'm done now and i'm thinkin great, now i can be reminded of this game whenever i look back at my blog......

my first about 5k hands since the new year. things are goin better as the new year goes on as u can see. also i playin better as i adjust to my new style. in the first 2k hands i got coolered once or twice but i was also havin to adjust from havin played only live poker for two weeks. also i figured out how to get the HEM graph on here w/o askin any1 lol.

played an early session and alas the win streak ended, o well. lost a buyin over about 150 hands. couldnt really get anything goin other then pickin up small pots and not gettin my hands paid off. just off the top of my head there were two pots where in one i misssed some major value and the second(which was for the buy in lost) i guess was just a cooler. flopped straight, guy in pos. next to me made his flush on the turn. i lead out on both streets big and he reraised. by then it was either fold or shove.. couldnt fold it i dont think with all the possible hands he could have. plus he called with J9s cuz he was gettin sick of my aggroness. maybe if i bet more on the turn and then he reraises ai or sumthin maybe i can get away.

UPDATE (2AM): So because i said i would i played in that live donkament at the local club. was a mess as usual with my set gettin cracked by top pair w/ a gutter. made river straight. didnt even wanna waste another $20 to add on a measly 5k at that pt. after the rebuy period i had about 13BB's and just planned to steal a big pot or go all in with anything decent... but never got shit 4 real and ended up tryin to steal a limped pot with like 5 callers with my K9o. Guy utg thinks FOREVER until he finally calls with AK lol. i was, uh nice limp.

i did fuck one hand on half way thru b4 the first break. i have like 10k blinds are i think 300/600. bunch of ppl limp i pick up A10 and just call. i was gunna raise but no one ever folds b4 the rebuy ends. idk prob shoulda tho. but then the short stacker in the BB pushes for another 2k+. only 1 other dude in front of me calls, and i was on the button, and shoulda pushed right there but no i just limped along like a dick. on flop the monster stack first to act pushes i think with top pair. other kid had A7 damn. im pretty sure both those other guys fold if i push after the raise.

BUT, made sure to play another late session in which i was fuckin shit up again; in a good way. got 3+ bi's in 325 hands and was just punishing ppl left and right. thinkin thru each hand fully. like swoops blog said, i'm in the fuckin zone right now and sometimes rly just dont wanna stop playin. if things keep goin like this i will be at 50nl in no time... not that i'm in a rush.. but some tables where every usually has aT LEAST like 25+ bucks would be nice for the bottom line.

o and a new goal of mine is to play and at some point within month(s) begin earning like $15/hr. that could be either playin alot of tables or not but just havin that winraite over a solid number of hands would be the shit. wow had a good early session. didnt get to play yesterday.. busy tryin to find a job and pickin up popps at the airport. btw, lost my job. dont usually go in depth w/ personal shyt but thought i would be goin back to work after the holidays to find out there "is no work." which is bull but i was new there so whatevr the fuck ever. so that makes my drive to get better even stronger and i been stickin to my plan so far for the most part watchin vids and gettin in hands or at least studying if i'm able to sit down and rly play. but damn i rly wouldnt mind tryn to grind 50nl, would prob make more per hr then i did at this last job lol. but one step atta time...soon tho

played another almost 2 hr session and felt good the whole way, switched tables a cpl times, even joined a fishy game of .25 .5. figure i can start takin little shots here and there cuz the br is at the min. for playin 50nl (that is if u dont mind goin broke) but the most ill play is a one reg. stack table thats fishy, basically the same as deep stacked 25nl, which i love.

anyway ovr about 250 hands, grinded out like $40 which was good as hell i thought. i didnt stack anyone or ever get it all in the whole time but between pickin up dead money preflop and post i cleaned up. altho i did get a few big hands never got them paid off. will have to look at them 2 see if i coulda did anything different for more value. also didnt make any mistakes rly cept for one river call where i figured i was beat.. but i mean it wasnt a huge pot by any means.

just wanted to start with a FUCKIN FINALLY! to fulltilt for givin me my damn money i withdrew from them on DECEMBER 11th. bastards sed 10 days, then 15, then the 5th of Jan. after about 6 emails of me writing crazy pissed off emails they gave me $50 bucks directly into my BR which is cool but still man. i needed that fuckin money for vegas br lol.. o well.
funny tho that $50 is like 1% of my rake in the last two months tho.. how nice of them lol.

so played a good amt of hands again today about 500+. ended up a buy in or so. as usual it prob coulda been at least a 2 bi day but made two mistakes that cost me. i really noticed something watchin a brymstar video last night. it was one from the summer around i think but in it, hes gettin r/r'ed, c/r'ed and just beat up all around.(also was VERY interesting to see just how SOFT 100NL) is the MAIN thing i noticed was how with every jab and stab tho, he lost the MINIMUM amt of dough in the process. And there ladies and gentleman, is prob my big leak.

i feel like otherwise tho i've been playin great tho and really feel like i got over a hump mentally. i mean there really isnt ANY time or any situation rly where i dont feel comfortable. that is, i see everything happening clearly as far as bluffs, call stations, isolations, blind def. all that good shit.
it was weird.. i didn't play any online poker for almost over 2 weeks(while in vegas, so i did play some live but not that much). in that time, i really would just think about poker. i was just think of situations that come up or hands and rly i just think about it and my mind goes to work. and goddam that shit really does work. i would suggest to all pros to def. take like 5 days off in a row every month or so. u come bak all clear minded and u start to apply the shit you've learned and have been thinkin about.
lol this reminds me of a friend of mine who was doin nothin but workin a lil bit but had just moved down south to a house with no furniture. other then some drinkin he didnt do anything but play poker and read poker magazines. all the free shit the casinos had lol. but in that 1 month period he had crushed live 1/2nl for a cpl grand. wanna say like 2k but i think it was more. he ended up buyin furniture and a plasma with it ha, u tha man will. person responsible for gettn me into poker right there.

did take like two what i thought were pretty terrible suck outs. once with AK with my fav. fish who likes talkin to me and shit lol. i flopped the ace. he turned two pr on the turn with a6. and we got it all in the river. might be a terrible play against a reg. but his stats were.. oo around 70 / 40 / 10.0 lol. but i got a good amt of it back just not all of it tho. i told him 'c u tomorrow' and he was like 'yea def.' lol thats wassup. i'll get it back then.. ight gunna go watch some vids, lata.

so played alot today made about 2.5 bi's which was cool but really $60 of that came from my early session where i was gunna sit down for awhile but after 15 mins and $60 i called it a session. Really proud tho i got in almost 700 hands today 3-5 tabling.

i gotta look and do that math but one of my goals for the rest of this month is too grind at least 10k hands this month. i also have really be rededicated to the studing and watching vids aspect of my game. i've been wasting my subsription here basically (it is free now tho which is nice) and havent been watching any vids. another goal maybe would be to watch one video a day OR five videos a week and rly watch and pay attn. takin notes sometimes helps alot too.

some possible random goals (call em new yrs resolution or beginning of the month goals):
1. play at least 250-300 hands a day or more.
(just did the math, to reach 10k i need to play at least 270 hands/day)
2. watch a video a day or 4-5 a week.

just writing them down here so i can look thru other posts where i mighta wrote other good acheiveable goals.. then combine on a master list of goals lol. na for real tho i do write more detailed shit in my hand written journal thing but i like this blog cuz it keeps me on track and records my thoughts at the time which is cool.

really crazy tho i'm keeping a winrate of 5+bb/100 and i feel like i make such shitty plays in big pots for some reason(only like 1-2 per session BUT for TOO MUCH money!). think i might have gotten away from asking my self BIG POT? POT SMALL? also i feel like i'll do alot better once i start better recognizing the types of players that i can barrel on or not and all that good stfff.. and just what kinda player they are. (LOVE MY hem HUD btw, got it all customized and shyt now, its great lol!)
looking back now the biggest pot i lost all day was a full buyin with a flopped set.. o well. BUT as always there is a cpl pots for anywhere between 17-7 bucks where i was just doin sum dumb shyt. either bluffing the station or calling the nit....calling the station at the wrong time... errrrr rly gotta work on that. really loving my new style of play tho so far... damn yall cant fuck with my redline tho lol. was just lookn at that shit n its lookin pretty... maybe too pretty.. lol.

UPDATE(12AM): whats good, just wrapped up a two hr session. got the HEM HUD workin which was pretty damn good i hafta say. all those extra stats are unbelievably helpful. was aware of how i feelin the whole time so didnt rly take any breaks. about 349 hands suprizingly tho, felt like more. just really was focused keeping aggressive but keeping out of mariginal situations and all that.

played what i thought was pretty damn good overall but made my one mike matasow like move in a hand with somebody who had just sat down(but was rly aggro over 10 hands); lost a buy in and it rly ate into what would have been a nice profit of double what i ended up makin. i wish i had a quick way to enter hands but rly dont feel like doin all that. analysing an interesting one right now tho w/ pokerstove.. looks like i made the right fold. 68 to 31. only had not even 2:1 pot odds.

def got some new yrs resolutions that i wrote down but just not on here. i'll check back in a month and see if i'm actually working on any of them. also watched a great college game during my session (i kno i kno) but damn somehow i always catch college footballs MOST exciting game and last second wins. i dont even rly kno anything about it. lol good game tho... what up! damn hope i havent lost all my readers by now. been awhile. coulda did some blogging while i was in vegas but just didnt feel like it to be honest. also just been gettin settled back in and all that since bein home in NY.

you know how vegas is tho, never really any tru downtime even when your not stayin on the strip. still blows my mind tho how much LV has been built up in the last 10-15yrs, since i've been goin at least once a year since i was a kid. my sis moved to a new apartment, but they got every fast food, supermarket, and whatever else u'd want right there and brand new. they're rent is RIDICULOUS if u ever compared it to ny's (i paid $800 for a studio), its a shame the job market is so shitty, i think i would go out there if i was confident enuff to grind live cash for awhile. but maybe i should start crushing online 25nl first, lol.

got to play a decent of live play but unforunately not many interesting hands. by the end of the two weeks i prob won somewhere around $300 give or take. see i would play for alittle while, but would be dragged away usually after less then 2-3 hrs due to family events. christmas was good and they sed it woulda snowed there on christmas had it been a lil colder.
there was this pot with an obv internet player who chased his flush ( i knew it, and made him pay too much 4 it the whole way) all the way to river and made it scooping in a huge pot of around $300 which was gay. umm, still plenty of fish of the strip tho for sure which made me feel good about poker in general. also one day lost another monster with a flopped staright, rivered by a flush lol. (that came runnner-runner obv)

so since bein home, i've played about 2k hands and i've lost 4+ bi's. around half or more maybe has been cuz of my bein alittle online rusty and just donking it up. also tho i've been experiementing with a more aggro style which is bound to have more variance, but mostly lost cuz of dumb mistakes. i did have the famous thing happen tho; hand 1: set over set; hand 2: aces over my kings; hand 3: flopped straight losses to flush on river. wow first two were one right after the other on same table. the straight was on another table less then a min. later. interesting......

also played some tournies yesterday.. finally got the play the double dueces and i see they uppped the max registration to an insane 10000 ppl. which i think is pretty gay and makes that thing even more impossible but whatever. i got down to like 4k. also played a $5 rebuy which i was doin good in till i started with the stupid shit and called off 1/3 or lil more with KQ like an ass. played like shit after that for the most part. damn if i dont make like one or two mistakes tho in either of those tournies it was gunna take some horrific beat to get me out. got down to 200 out 1k in the rebuy : (
still gotta stick to my goal of playing at least like 2 tournies a day cuz i think i played rly good up until i made like one or two stupid plays.

i also just d/l'ed HEM last night and stayed up crzy late messin with it. looks pretty damn awesome, also i love those articles that come with it explainin exactly what some of the shit means. helped me find some big leaks already.
1) Need to call less 3bets but either 4beting myself, or just folding. My % is way too high
2) I also might need call less cbets on the flop.
3) altho once i call on the flop, may need to continue calling more on the turn (if it gets there)
Also somehow it sed my positional awareness sucks, but i find that one weird. but i guess ill try playing tighter from worse pos. and see what happens.
can't get the HUD workin tho, kinda frustating... aight ttyl for sure
