Poker is a game of skill. But because of the luck factor it has variances. To be a winning poker player, one must commit time, energy, and money into playing the game. You don't need much to start a bankroll. $50 can get you a great start if you are here to become a winning poker player. Don't put all your money into one game or one session, instead apply Chris Fergerson's way and play 5% of your bankroll each day. If you win 10% that day, call it a day. If you go below, don't dig into your bankroll and play it all. Discipline yourself. Because no matter what your skill level in poker is at, there are still variances. If you spread your bankroll into 5% each day, your swings are lower,. You won't lose your entire bankroll in one session. To become a winning long-term poker player, is not a one shot deal. That is to gamble everything you have. Poker is a fun gamble until you start losing money, then it becomes a game, when it becomes a game you try to beat it. Once you find out that poker is beatable, then anything in this world is possible!
