Phil Galfond on learning ... applicable to micros?

I just read a really interesting blog by Phil Galfond about how he studies/learns poker. One of the things that stuck me was that what is optimal for him (playing as high as possible and thinking in depth about each hand and the actions his opponents make) is actually not the best way for most micro stakes players to learn (especially at FR). DUCY?

$200 --> $10,000 Challenge Update

Also, my challenge is coming along nicely - I'm very close to being a quarter of the way done ($2370). Since I've moved from 10NL --> 50NL, I expect the progress to continue moving exponentially up to a certain point. Here is my graphical update:



FWIW, in 2010, it took me until March 7th to go from $100 to $2,000, so I'm way ahead of that timeline.
