FTP's IronMan Challenge

I just qualified for the FTP IronMan level, yet as soon as I did it, I shook my head and asked myself "what was the point of that?" For the last two weeks I pretty much got 200 points per day just to qualify. Yes, I could have stopped at gold, but I felt IronMan-committed.

I really, really hope that FTP unveils its new rewards program soon cause Iron Man really pales in comparison with what Stars has. For starters, I hate the fact that it rewards you for x # of days played instead of y # of hands played. I can KIND OF see why it does that, but meh.

I will probably try to get Bronze or Silver next month just to keep my status and get a bonus at the end of the year. Not even sure if it's worth it though.

lol im in my 23rd month. i agree that it isnt the best system but once you get to the point I have in it it at least starts to at least give me a little something meaningful. In a few months I'll be earning enough medals to get an extra 100k points every 2.5 months. Which I can then use on sweet electronics like laptops or tvs that i wouldnt normally buy. I really hope that they do start some sick new program this upcoming year like they are supposed to though to rival SNE.

You really should come to Carbon Poker, and get 35% rakeback payed daily. And each time you reach a new VIP tier, you keep it for life, exchange pts for cash, and get other monthly bonuses too. I got a $1000 first time deposit bonus, which would be easy to collect at $0.5/$1.

I agree completely Verneer! The FTP rewards program is a joke! BTW, where did you hear that they have a new rewards program coming out, and when is it supposed to be released? Also, Tyman keep in mind that even though they make it way to hard to earn the points necessary to get those electronics, that they're are still deducting a chunk of your rakeback when you get them.Therefore, you're still paying for the electronics, just at a discount. The whole point of a VIP program is to get free stuff for our play, and not just discounts for spending more of our money to buy there stuff.Yes the rewards program at FTP is a joke, and we should all email them to complain about it.

Yeah, where did u hear about a new rewards program? they really should do that imo from a business pont of view. So many stars regs would switch and play on FTP's way superior software imo.

I heard about it on 2+2 from FTPDoug (an official FTP rep). They are not saying much about it though and keeping people waiting.
