Well after over a year in the making my partner and I just released a new website called Facethedebate. www.facethedebate.com Its a video based debate site where people are actually held accountable for what they say. So instead of all the keyboard bullies that talk a lot of smack behind the computer but would never have the guts to show their face when their talking the way they are. Its a place to come for mature debate. Unfortunately With the release of the site, I had to end my staking deal with my friend and put poker on the back burner. Hopefully before long I will be able to play again. Right now though my baby is my new website. So check it out and give me some much needed criticism/thoughts. I've been reading a lot of blogs lately and I've decided to start my own regardless if people read it or not. My girlfriend loves to write and says its good for the mind. Anyways I'm a 22 year old conservative that lives in the liberal lions den of Chicago! I own and operate a family business. I love playing live poker at the horseshoe in Hammond Indiana. I've had quite success playing live poker ever since I've been 18 and have been able to play at charity events. Something that has always killed me was online poker. I used to play a video game professionally and I feel like sometimes I tend to take it like a game and just play way out of my bank roll. So after literally losing around 10grand in the past four or five years, I've decided to try and do this right way and not just deposit $$ and play huge tournies or huge cash games. So I started a 200$ BR challenge on PS playing SnGs starting at 2.20 and moving up as my bank roll allowed. Well after a month of run good and play good I was up to around 1500$. I was playing $5 and some bigger $11 MTT's when all of a sudden my girlfriend and I get in a huge fight. After being so pissed and needing to relieve some stress what do I do ofcourse? Not go to the gun range and fire off 100 rounds or running, i freaking take my roll to 5/10 and BLOWWW it. FML. Not wanting to give up on online poker and knowing I lack some discipline I talk to my friend who is a regular at 1/2 and 2/4 on FTP. He has staked me with some coaching and I'm playing some 25nl. After a rough start I turned it around!
