hey guys hows it going....yesterday was just a sick sick day...i only played about 1244 hands at 200nl and made a wopping $1827 with a 36ptbb/100 which is just insane...i ran pretty sick in 3 bet pots which is always a major plus and also probably running above average in all in luck(basically just races that i won all in preflop)....i had a few interesting spot but im to lazy to post the hand histories and i dont like to post hand histories without converting them....so now my roll as at a new all time high of about 14.1k which is very nice and i will probably start to 2 table 400nl once i get ot 15k...

on another note i got up nice and early this morning aroudn 8;30 or so and got over to the gym and play some ball with some friends...we had one guy that wasnt very good that kind of cost us the came and i and some turnovers that were pretty shitty but had like 4 points out of our 9...but its nice to get some cardio in before you hit the tables and gets your mind right...also i made a vid for gabe to go over today and he is going to send me one of his so ill probably do some reviewing and working on some of the leaks in my game which will be great as i start to move up...well that is all see yall tomorrow

yesterday i through my first thousand hands i ran incredably good...i was up 1500 over 1k hands running at about 22/20...the next thousand hands didnt go that good...i got into a few sticky situations were i didnt know what the exact play should be...lucky i was recording and can show it to the new group and they can help me out...so with yesterday my total was 1400 over 2100 hands running at about 22/19...pretty happy with that and it leaves me only about 2k more before i have 15k and i take shots at 400nl...im probably only going to 2 table for the first 2 weeks or so maybe more depending on how i adapt with help from my partners...

on another not i stopped my search for a coach or i should say postponed it because with this group of motivated players i think they can help me a lot in the next couple months and maybe after about 2 months i will start the search again...alright its time to go hit the tables

hey guys its been awhile since my last blog and a lot has been going on since then...poker wise i have been taking shots at 400nl and not having a great result...basically what is happening for each day is i lose 2 buyinggs at 400nl and i win somewhere around 6-7 buyins at 200nl...so what i have decided is to do wait till i get to 15k and move up to 400nl and just 2 table until i get a good feel for the game....so until then just some 200nl grinding...

something pretty cool has come up as i have joined up with a group over poker players that are dedicated and want to elevate there game to the next level and beyond...i really think this should help transform my game and help me to start beating the 2/4s and beyond...all they guys so far seem pretty cool and the ideas that we are coming up with to help each other seem pretty good...i think this instead of a coach will be good and maybe when it comes time to start playing 1knl ill get a coach to really put me over the edge....

as of life i havent really gone out to much but i have been working out a lot and also playing a lot of basktball...yesterday me and a bunch of friends went to a field to play some football and i realized how out of shape most of the guys are now...they use to be pretty good athletes but now you just see little spirts of greatness...well that about concludes this entry

yesterday i got in about 2100 hands 4 tabling most the time except when i played hu i only played 2 tables...i did pretty good at 200nl putting in about 1500 hands and netting 1200 or so played about 27/24 or so most lag ive played i think that playing 400nl had something to do with that...i didnt have to many interesting spots i just felt i had controll of the tables most of the time i was playing...however hu was a different story...i know im not very good at it yet thats why i play 100nl hu to work on it...i ended up losing 770 over only 650 hands which is atrocious....i lost probably 4 buyings due to just horrible luck and people hitting 2 outers on the river and 2 pair against my over pair or trips...but the other 3 were just horrible play...im going to try to get in 1000 hands a day at HU from now on because i really need to work on it...i need to table select a lot better too...im just not very good at the whole hu thing yet and plan on working on it a lot...after i played last night i went and bought 3 HU vids and watched all of them...hopefully after i get a couple thousand hands in i will start to see a difference...alright well thats it for my poker talk

hey guys took a little 3 day break had a bad/bad play day and decided it was a good time to take a little break...i had my biggest day of 2k at 400nl and 600nl and then the following day i had a -2k day at just 400nl putting me back at even for the week so i just wanted to take some time off and regroup...for now im going to keep my main game 200nl until i get to 15k ill throw in some 400nl tables when the games are good...on another note i got started reading the element of poker by tom angelo...the first couple chapters are pretty straight forward i seem to know most of the stuff but is def worth the read because he is a coaching genius...alright i might put some more stuff back in here later thanks for reading...

well hey guys yesterday wasnt so good...i had my first losing session in about a 2 weeks...i know it was bound to happen...what really frustrated me is that my hands werent holding and i started to force some situations which i usually do not do...i went over my PT and out of the 20 big pots that i played and lost 5 of them i just butchered and basically spewed money...the other ones were kind of out of my control...but i definitely will go through and look through and see other things i was doing wrong because even when i was playing i didnt feel i was playing my A game...so it totalled out that i lost 4 buyins at 400nl made a little comeback and was only down 2 buyins but then i hit another brick wall to send me spiraling down again...i think time is coming where im going to need to get a coach...it was in my goals for the year...so i think im going to wait tell this month ends and then start looking for a coach to help elevate my game...i see some of the other CR members have gotten coaches and they say that it has helped them a lot even over a short period of time...now that im playing 400nl my level of thinking and also my level of play need to move up to be able to take have an edge in these games and i think a coach will help in that process...

well i got class tonight im not sure how many hands im going to get in today but hopefully i can make the best decisions possilbe in the hands i do play...i think ill start posting some hands on here to give some of you guys that look at this a little something to see...also if any of you readers out there play 400nl or higher or even 200nl pm i would like to start getting some sweats in with players that play at my level or higher because right now i only sweat with those that play lower stacks

hey hows it going guys...i was able to put together a couple nice sessions yesterday...i play 550 hands at 200nl and lost about $360...i think the problem was i was not paying as much attention to these tables as i was at 2/4 and 3/6 and didnt really play the players but more the cards...played 430 hands at 400nl and came out up $300 for a nice little return...i think im going to start playing less and less 200nl as im starting to feel comfortable at 400nl and im just going to try to table select well...i also took a few shots at 600nl when the games looked good i found one table with a pretty nice fish on it and a couple not so good short stackers...i got only 120 hands in there but won a cool $800 which is a pretty nice return 60bb/100...

so after that i had to go to class at 6 which was pretty boring because our main instructor wasnt there who is crazy cool and his assistant was pretty boring but he let us out early around 9pm which was sweet...so since we got out early i rushed home to get in some more hands and played some heads up...and it started off as a disaster i think i was down like 2 buyins at 100nl pretty quickly(im not very good at HU but im working on it, probably need to work on table seleting better but i think i will improve faster playing good players) but i was able to turn it around against this one guy a sat down with that bad about 3 buyins and i took 2 off of him and another 2 off another guy and i ended up $170 over about 750 hands...alright thats about it guys thanks for reading if you do...

yesterday was a real good day i had my fist 2k day and you can see that in high/low forum...i played a little 2/4 and 1/2 winning about 1200 at 2/4 and at 1/2 950...started off my day early around 8 got went for a nice 3 mile run to get my motor going and my mind sharp...then i fired up a few tables....in my first session i was up about 300 should of been up 1000 but lost a 1000 pot when i got it in with a combo draw and hit the flush on the turn but the 4th spade fell and gave the guy the one card flush...aww well... but as for my second session i went on quite a tear seems like i couldnt do anything wrong and netted about 1700 in that session...all in all yesterday was good i got out and plays some basketball with some friends...ever since i started playing poker my basketball skills have really declined because i dont get on the court much anymore...i use to be a basketball addict but once i got dropped from my scholarship out of high school i kind of just gave up...well thats it for today...hopefully i can keep up my progress and run goooooottt and the same time....take it easy guys

alright well im currently trying to set up a schedule for myself as to working out and playing poker....so i thought that starting a blog might helt that situation...i am currently and 200nl playing starting to take shots at 400nl...right now poker is my only source of income as i am getting ready to enter the fire academy and start all my fun firefighter stuff...i am hoping that once i become a firefighter poker can be a nice second income for me because i know i will have lots of free time only working 10 days out of the month...

here are some of my goals for this year...

1. play atleast 5 days a week playing 2k hands a day

2. be a 400nl reg by april

3. get coaching while at 400nl to help the maturation process

4. find 3 players to sweat and talk strategy with about poker (one low limint, one at my limit, and one higher)

5. post 2 hands a day for feedback and also comment on atleast 5 a day...

6. make over 90k for the year
