Not enough Hours in a day :(

Hey yall,

Ive have ramped up the volume of hands i played This month. Rush poker is the best invention there could have been. its like milty tabling but you can take your time when a big hand comes. its such a big help and also, somehow i get more hands in 4 tables of rush than i used to when i was mass multytabling.

so far i played like 9 hours at 25nl and made about 150$. im running pretty much at Ev unlike last month. so im happy. i just have to bump up the grinding. Too bad i have to work and then go to class. so by the time im done i only have like 3 hours before i need to go to sleep.

one day il quit work and move to a third world country where i can gring $50 a day and live like a king. hehe.

Well, i just started playing at fulltilt again as of Jan 24 so i dont have too many hands in there. Ive only been playing in Rush poker.

As you can see I am running horrible. People sucked out on me really bad as you can see by the top redline(all-in EV). but im actually happy with that. you know why? MY RED LINE IS EVEN!!!! for the first time ever. i was never able to hold an even red line for so long. but i think something might have clicked and im doing sweet.

Im also keeping my cool really well. when i ge sucked out on and im not going on tilt like i used to. When i feel like going on tilt i star tot talk to my self and tell my self to do what i learned from CR and the forums. "breath and relax, they only got lucky. luck comes and goes. only a matter of time for my turn to get lucky." so even thought i made $16. im happy with my play :)

this is at 25nl. i think my all-in luck will change this month of FEB and if i keep my redline the way its going im gona be crushing. :) im exited!!

this is 8khands in 7.6 hrs
The part where my red line goes down was the part i kinda tilted. so just calmed down and Tightened up a lot until i cooled down.

(ps: anyone know how to change the colors of the graph lines? i dont like having two red lines. )

Playing poker non stop is making start having carpal tunnel syndrome. specially with rush poker. i really need to get that wrist pad for my mouse. i wonder how other people who play like 7 hours a day havent broken their wrists yet. also, the ocasional wall punch has left me with bruices on my nuckels. who said poker wasnt a sport?

First blog ever!!! poker story

Blog by : ucallmejoe

Hello everyone,

Ive been on Cr for about a year and a half now and just finaly decided to make my own post after ready all of yours from time to time. I think this will help me jump in more into the poker comunity and help my game by keeping me more focus and motivated in poker

here is my story.

i started poker like 5 years ago. on party poker where i deposited $50. i was able to get it up to $80 and then i lost it all after trying out Limit holdem. ti checked my party poker account a month later and somehow i had $20 on it. it musta been my bonus money that i never got. i ran that up playing 25nl(the lowest limit they had) unto $500. but cause i was in chollege and broke, i had cash out and stay grinding. did this a few times until party poker left the USA.

Fulltilt came along. i put in $50 and lost it all. so i thought. one day i check my account and see $6 in it. i jumped n a $5 sng (yeah, best bank roll management ever) and got second place. i cashed for like the next 4 sng tourneys and now i had a roll. i jumped into 25nl and ran my account into $200. then im tried mtt and got lucky in a few donkaments and my roll jumped to $1500. i was on a big poker High. i kept playing 25nl but with no great succes. i stayed around $1700 for the longest time.

The night that changed it all. up till this time i was playing poker mostly for fun. but one night. i discoverd multytabling. i whent from playing one table at 25nl(which i did for like 3 years) to playing 6 tables and made $200 that night.. thats when i decided to take poker seriously and joined CR. my winrate skiroketed and i was able to move up to 50nl. when i realised that Cr did mostly 6max vids. i jumped to 6max with much succes. i made around $1k amonth playing 35 hours amonth for the next few months.

the.. tilt happend. last year i got some surgey and i was like "hey now il be home every day to play all the poker i want". I had a hernia fixed and that doctor musta done something to my lucky balls cause i started loosing after that. i lost like $600 in a week at 50nl. it crushed me. i lost confidence and just buildt a mind block. somehow that down swing changed my stile and i couldnt crush anymore. i had become a break even player. so sad.. i decided to take a break from poker and concentrate on my other hobbies cause poker was becomnig too stressfull for me.

now: i jumped back into poker from where i started. rebilding you may say. i joined cake poker and started grinding the 20nl FR tables. like 16 at a time and im having succes. im rebulding a bank roll and rake back is helping. last week i tried Rush poker and i love it. i handt played in fulltilt for a while and i thought their player pool was tougher than in cake but its not. they are about the same if not weaker. specialy during the poker rush hours.

im playing on making a poker goal and see where i can end up.

sorry for the long story. i tried to make it shorted than what i wanted to write. but i hope you follow my stories. il be posting results soon.
