So ive been posting all my stats and everything in here and i can see them fine! but to find out today no one else can! WEEEEE sorry guyz ill try to figure out the problem

March has been great to say the least. I really told myself I was gonna dedicate this month to my heads up game and have had pretty good success. I feel I am playing REALLY well and game selecting REALLY well. Im sure there is some running good in there to, but you cant win 25 buyins in a week running good IMO. I think game selection has been the biggest key. If I see I dont have an edge after 50 or so hands I simply say GG and sit out. There are so many bad players at this level and you just have to find them.

HU stats for March 1st-7th

My VPIP and PFR look a little low I think, but hey whatever works right. Most of this money has been made by sitting in full, and people coming and buyin in for like $60 and I grind them down to like $40 and they instantly start shoving my button opens and I just eventually snap them off. I bet almost half of this money has been made by that scenario. Im starting to dabble in 1/2 but am finding the opponents much tougher and smarter. To be honest the few hands ive played I have struggled to get a grasp on how to beat my opponents. I just coolered a guy for a stack for that profit. They dont seem to wanna stack off as light and they just dont let you abuse them like they do at .5/1. But its a learning process and I didnt start off killing .5/1 so im sure there will be some lows while starting 1/2, but I am confident I can eventually beat the level.

Havent played much PLO this month but I got drunk last night and decided to play a few hands and lost 1.5 buyins at 1/2. Heres the main hand that killed me.

Getting good odds pre to call, and as soon as he pots the flop I immediately put him on aces but O well. Not exactly a dream scenario for him to get it in on the flop with a bare J high flush draw and a gutter. O well it was like 60/40 I think and he hit the river... meh

PLO stats March 1st-7th

Im content with a $2400 victory the first week of march. Probably my best cash game week ever. Hoping to put another good one in this week.

In non poker news, im thinking about doing some traveling after I graduate next week. I have family out in Colorado Springs and friends in Nederland, Colorado so my first stop will be that beautiful state. Then from there I dont know where ill go. Possibly Vegas, an ocean, hell I dont know. Just gonna load up the SUV and my dog and go. I need a break from the life ive been living. Ive been with my gf now for 2.5 years and were about to go through some changes in our lives as we are both graduating and moving back home. I have spent nearly everyday with her for the past 2.5 years. I need to just take off for some alone time and she totally understands that. I dont know how it will affect our relationship, but time will tell. We both really want separate things in life, so we will see where the road take us.

Well, it wasnt a bad venture back into cash games. I was playin tourneys there for the past few months and decided to get back into cash games on the 12th of february, so heres februarys stats since the 12th.

Hold Em

Definently not very good stats. Not where I wanna be but it happens. I was up about 800 at 100nl till 2 days ago when I played a 200 hand session and had kk get stacked 4 times and just everything went so wrong that session. I think I dropped about 5 buyins in 200 hands. It was prettty brutal. I was down about $400 in nl100 heads up but have grinded that back up to show a profit and am trying to stick with this as my main game because I want to be a very successful heads up player. The best way to do that is play a lot of hands at it. So we will see what March brings for HU. I should have a lot more time to play this month.

PLO

PLO was going pretty good there for awhile. Then I watched Gordos new heads up PLO vid ,which was great by the way, and decided to play some plohu. Session was going good and was very aggro and I could tell my opponent was getting very fed up with me. Well needless to say I got 150bbs in on the flop as a 70/30 fav and lost so that explains the hu stats. 120 hands is basically nothing though so its really a pointless stat. I do plan on playing more huplo in the future. Its a very fun game.

So it looks like I ended the month up about 1000 bucks. Not to bad for starting in the middle of the month and playing .5/1 level as my main game. Hey its a win for the month and I only plan on playing more and studying more this month, so we will see what happens.

Meh was running a little bad in hold em so decided to play a few K hands of PLO. Its went well so far. I think Brians PLO vids are much better than his hold em videos. I also watched gordos which was pretty interesting.

PLO stats over the last 3 days

I think my PFR is a little lower than I would like it to be, but thats due to me playing more tables than I am used to of Omaha. I started off playing 2 tables and was playing like 40/34 which was pretty crazy, but then added more tables so I had to tighten up a little bit. Overall I think im playing pretty well. Ive lost several 60/40s for huge pots in the last 24 hours and am still showing a nice profit so thats good.

I think im going to try and start adding non poker stuff in blog, because well its kind of boring just reading someone elses stats so ill see what I can do in the near future. Im pretty sure no one reads this anyways but I can pretend you guys do. Im really doing this more for my own amusement and "records" sort of to look back on in the future and possibly if I ever make any money at this game, it would be a good blog for up and comers to read.

And my last thought. Wow! Theres a lot of rake in Omaha.

Wow the last few days have been pretty crazy. I havent really played that much, but what I have played has either been a great session or a horrid session. I have really been trying to focus my play on heads up and have been having mixed results. I started off by having a 5 buyin downswing one night. Thats always fun. Doesnt give you a lot of motivation to continue, but I did. The next day I swung up about 8 buyins which was nice, but today i dropped another 4 which put me back in the hole.

Heads up stats the past week.

I definently have a lot of work to do on my heads up play. I havent quite put my finger on what im doing wrong yet, but I know I need to figure it out. Sure, Ive had a few big suckouts put on me, but I also had a 300bb suckout of my own, so its all gonna even out. I think im trying to base my HU play on stuff thats gonna work at higher stakes. My big loss sessions I was playing pretty crazy, betting draws hard, trying to push people off of hands and that didnt work to well. So I tried tightening up my game just a touch won 8 buyins one evening, so Im just gonna keep studying that and try to figure out what I need to do to improve my game.

6 max hasnt been much better. I feel my 6 max game is much better than my heads up game, but it just bores me to death compared to HU. I guess im an action junkie and heads up satisfys that need in me. Sometimes great. Sometimes I wanna pull my hair out. The swings just arent that high at 6 max for me. It seems like at the 100nl level there a just a bunch of nits which makes it a realllll grind. I cant wait to make 1/2 my main game and eventually 2/4. I have enough buyins to be playing 1/2 but not real comfortably. I like to have at least 30 to feel comfortable, but start dabbling with 25.

I think I actually tilted a little bit tonight at 6 max. One hand I got it in with 2 overs and a flush draw on the flop to his small pocket pair and he held. Pretty much flipping though. I was a 55/45 fav. Meh whatever. Then I couldnt get a guy to fold pocket 8s on a 1010K 3board on the turn. I shoved his lead on the turn with AJ and a flush draw and missed again. I guess people just dont fold on wednesdays. So I quit for the night. I was tilting a little bit so whatever.

6 max stats the past week

Not bad, but not great either. I definently have a lot of work to do on every aspect of my game. Im not where I want to be, and I really wanna get there. Im in my last month of college right now, so things are a little hektic, but thats no excuse. I will be graduating in a month and moving back home which is about 5 hours from here, and I would really like to be properly rolled for 1/2 by then and give a shot at playing some serious hours once I graduate and see where it leads. But for now working on making 10 more buyins at 100nl before moving up.

So I havent updated in a few days, but things have still been going good. I havent played a lot of hands, but feel I am running good and playing well at the same time. Thats a combination for success. Since joining I have really been studying CTS's vids. The guy is a beast and has helped my game tremendously.

Still a very small sample seeings how this summer I was playing 3k hand sessions, but at this point in my life I dont have the time to be doing this. 500-1000 hands per day is about the norm for me at this point. Once I graduate I hope I can start playing a little more and hopefully turning up with some decent results.

I dont normally jump between levels, but so far taking somewhat of a shot at 1/2 has worked out well for me. Im not properly rolled for it but I tend to start taking shots at the next levels with 20 buyins and so far its working out. I have no problems dropping back down, but hopefully I do nothing but move up! Thats the perfect world huh.

So im gonna try to keep track of my poker progress a little bit on CR.

I was previously a member about 2 years ago, but cancelled my membership. I at the time was not getting enough out of it to deem it necessary. I was in a pretty demanding program in college, but am now getting ready to graduate so I decided to give it another shot.

100NL 6max is my main game at the moment, and I have been having about breakeven results the past few months.

Heres my first 24 hour of results after watching only a few CTS and SB vids

Im definently running higher than expectation over the past 24 hours, but I feel I have really opened up my game and it feels good to book a good winning session. Very small sample size, but hopefully I can keep this up.
