Haha yes, I love that Britney song...but more than anything its how I feel about poker. Sick swings again this month but, I won't really talk about that will post results at the end of the month. I've put in a ridiculous amount of volume again this month (for me anyway!) of 55k hands on FTP. I now have money on UB (rigged I know u UB grinders better watch out!) and Lock. So now I feel compelled to play 3times as much! P.S. I'm on the rakerace this month for FTP hollaa!

In other news and moving on to my girly side, I've fallen in love with a new perfume (which is totally rare). I'm very allergic to perfumes, body lotions, soaps and laundry detergent. My old perfume that I still adore is Creed Spring Flowers. It was made for Audrey Hepburn on her wedding day. Creed is an awesome perfume brand...it's the oldest brand still in existence and they still hand make their perfumes. The best part is they are almost wholly natural and up to 10% synthetic. I'm convinced its the synthetics in perfumes I'm highly allergic to since most of the new stuff is up to 60%. The new one is Creed Love in White. Not cheap at $230 at Neiman Marcus...but I ebayed a tester in the same $230 price for $80 missing the cap.



My other obsession as of late is cupcakes! Th super gourmet bakery type with fattening buttercream icing. Yowch, I better not get fat. www.thecupcakery.com is where I'm draging my friends to after lunch.

I was so excited on Tuesday, my mtt friends came back in town. I met the ever oh so elusive purecash25 haha! What nice guys seriously, but I feel soooo old. They are on spring break! What I wouldn't give to be 21 again. Seriously. Anyway, I finally got to see Mystere and wow, is it weird!! The snail thing creeped me out a ton. We all agreed it'd be better high or on shrooms haha. My favorite acts were the guys who power lift/balance each other and the acrobats with the swings and trampolines. They were all in such sick shape, I was totally jealous!

This hand put me in such a sick spot. Obviously villain 1 is a fish and then there's the other villain who appeared reggish. I felt I was so beat. When I saw the results, I wanted to slit my wrists and jump off my 31st floor balcony. I still think its a good fold tho and I've shown this hand to several high stakes players who all agreed folding was probably best.

I just wanted to post this picture...it makes me so happy and determined everytime I see it! Happy days :)

Surely we have all bustoed someone's account in our online career...but what happens when the person starts saying he/she will kill themselves? I had that happen to me tonight and was rather unsettled.

The guy in particular I knew was bad from playing higher stakes with him earlier in the week. We were heads up. Anyway, he made an AWFUL bluff basically trying to rep quads and me having the nut full house. It was a snap call scenarior despite being over 200bbs deep each. After the particular hand, he started tilting badly and asking me how I could call etc and if I was cheating or used a program. Then he said that if I was going to quit I could.

At this point, I'm literally salivating since he's still about 175bb deep. I assured him I wasn't going to quit and he kept open shoving 175+ bb into me. The particular hand came up where it was a single raised pot pre and I flopped top pair and shitty kicker and he open shipped on me as usual. I snapped with my top pair and he had 2nd pair with a naked flush draw. Luckily, I managed to hold.

He goes nuts and I ask nicely for him to reload. He says I busted his account (I think it was over 1k that I took from him) and then, he says he's going to kill himself and to look for him in the papers tomorrow. He even told me the location. He then says he has a gambling problem. He never once asked for his money back actually. He later on said he was kidding....but I was feeling really badly for awhile. I talked to some of my friends and they said if he didn't lose money to me he would have lost it to someone else and I won the money fair and square. I mean I still feel like crap actually. I guess the live pros have it worse...imagine if someone was flipping out right in front of you. I dunno...I guess I shouldn't even have talked in chat.

In other news, Dodgy and I are trying to plan another month long roadtrip. Maybe it'll become an annual thing. Hopefully things will work out! My dreams lately have been about Louisiana...the bayou and beautiful New Orleans, especially the Garden District. I used to live on Bordeaux Street, two blocks from Saint Charles right in the heart of the Garden District. I loved walking around the area at night right before Katrina. There are still days I daydream about moving back. I have a slight idea why New Orleans is such a special place to me...but, I can say there is no where else on earth that resembles NOLA.

My favorite plantation in the entire South is Oak Alley so here are some pics! Sigh, I don't think there's any place on earth more Southern, romantic, mystical and as gorgeous or filled with history either as Oak Alley. (Sorry for the blog derail!)

I am soooo proud of these guys, I totally have to make a brag post about them!

First up is Ray (Hustler/booshiet). He is fast becoming a Pokerstars Pro for Team Asia haha. Pokerstars is really starting to market him in Taiwan and he's been filiming commercials, TV shows and all kinds of publicity. This is apparently why he hasn't been online lately at all. I am SO excited and happy for him!

My other friend Jason (NovaSky) took down the 1k Monday this past week and then got 2nd in the Sunday Brawl!

Poker's been going well lately but I've been more inspired than ever to play mtts!! (trouble I know.) Haha sorry if this blog post is kinda spazzy I'm just really happy in general today and loving the weather out here.

Ok typically, I have been mistaken for a hooker several times in Vegas because I'm usually 1) walking alone or 2) waiting for friends alone at casinos and sketch dudes try to chat me up. The scene of Saturday night:

I go pick up Eric at the MGMGrand before meeting up with friends at XS. I pull up and find a pretty sweet parking spot and call up Eric. Convo goes something like this:

Me: "Hey babe what room are you in?"
Eric: "Ummm not really sure let me see. 19414?"
Me: "Umm what floor is that?"
Eric: "19th I think"
Me: "Oh ok, I can't wait to see you! Bye!"

I'm dressed in my clubbing best...aka Vegas slutty! A black skirt and black corset and I spent a lot of time getting the whole smoky eye look going on. For some reason, I end up going to the 14th floor Room 414. I hear voices in the room from the hallway and its a bunch of guys. Oh ok good! (Or so I thought). I ring the room doorbell and some chick opens the door. Hmm I thought, Eric didn't say that there were gonna be any girls on the trip. No biggie, I say "Hey I'm looking for Eric." The girl turns around and says to the guys "Hey is there an Eric here?" Weird, I think...she doesn't know the guys names? Anyway one of the guys says "Yeah, I'm Eric." So, I walk in. 4 guys in the room plus that one chick and umm...yeah none of them are Eric.

I'm a little confused at this point when one of the guys says "let's get this party started baby." WTF. I laugh a little and say "Wrong room" and left. As I walk out, the girl and guys are loudly exclaiming that I was a hooker. I felt like banging on the door and saying I wasn't or possibly demanding 100k for a night hahaha (jk!).

I call up Eric and practically yell at him to give me the right room and to walk out into the hallway so the same thing didn't happen again. Wow, embarassing.

XS was ridiculously sick. I have no pictures yet....but will explain why. First, the hosts are incredibly snobby at the door. We had a ridiculous table already set up but the hosts appeared not to really give a shit who had a table and who didn't. We FINALLY get in and get settled in one of the tables by the pool but close to the dance floor that was super private with a TV (yeah wtf?), We spent forever and a day trying to get my other friend in. The hosts again didn't give a shit and my friend had to tip them like $50 just to get in even though, we already had a table.

I drank a lot and managed to run into some friends there (and mooch off their champagne!). I even danced with lots of random dudes (including some guy that told me he was a rapper and his birthday). I remember laughing and saying prove it! He showed me his driver's license and I guess his posse asked me if I didn't know who he was. I said no and proceeded to laugh and walk off. I actually forgot about that whole incident until yesterday...whoops. I wish I remembered who he was now!

Eric, meanwhile was super attracted to the table games at the pool. BJ anyone? What a degen. I don't think he played any. We kinda ended up being kicked out...wtf! My other friend's friend who is only 21 was really drunk started flinging drinks against the wall and the couches. Then apparently, he took a candle and threw it against the mirror and it splattered all over the place and the nice couches. I remember wandering back to the table at some point and security being ALL over the place. We got out of there pretty quickly after that...I still have no idea if we were kicked out or not.

We ended up getting some late night food and the next day, pretty much slept through the whole day. I woke up extremely hungover and barely able to move. I was also missing my ID, lipgloss, valet ticket and camera! (basically everything that I took to the club) Fortunately, I have some awesome friends who took care of my things haha. Although, my camera is on the way back to the east coast! I got Eric to experience the glory that is In and Out though! I used to really hate In and Out but I now loveee it. I just love the protein style burgers soooo yummy! After this weekend, I think my liver needs like a month to recover. I haven't gone out this much in a long long time.

Onto some poker stuff. 2-7 is going pretty good I think. I started with 1k on Stars. I dropped like $156 yesterday and am starting to realize people just don't value bet thinly at all. Today, I decided to experiement a bit more and play HU by starting tables because nothing was running. I'm at 1057.25 so am pretty excited about that. I need to watch the series again. One of the spots I feel that I have huge leaks at is value betting an 8, 7, xxx. I'm always up against an 8, 6, xxx. I managed to put in some good snows today where the opponent folded. I'm glad I have a good bit of experience in hu nlhe and razz as well. 2-7 TD is a tough game to me because unlike nlhe and razz all the cards are completely down so its hard to put someone on a hand.

Lastly, I think I died and went to real estate heaven today as far as high rises. I saw several AMAZING places in Turnberry Towers and Place. Turnberry Place is just sick but, its got a very old person vibe. The entire place, especially the Stirling Club has me feeling as if I'm visiting a friend's wealthy parents place and about to break something. On the other hand, the onsite spa is just sick. Who wants to buy me a place in Vegas?! Every single one of the places were bank owned. How sad that is really.

I've been super frustrated with nl lately. Since December which I have logged 125k hands I'm an assload below ev. I don't really care to go into it much...I was not surprised when I finally checked the ev calculations because 1) I had no idea how to do it (thanks Daniel!) and 2) don't really care to look at ev. Anyway, enough whining!

Ward has absolutely been crushing razz and stud 8 games on Stars lately. I'd have to say if it wasn't for razz and NL HU I'd probably be busto by now. I'm exaggerating a bit because I'm technically not down that much at 6max...only 6 buyins in 125k hands and plus 28 buyins in EV. (depressing I know) I took a shot at some 50/100 razz last week which didn't go so well. However, when I have played 20/40 and 30/60 razz, I've absolutely crushed it. I had the pleasure of playing with Jen Harman in those games quite a few times. She is really really good and seems sweet enough to talk to the railbirds.

Wardie and I have decided to get into some 2-7 TD limit on Stars. For now I'm watching DeathDonkey's/DJ Sensi's series on DC and I'm pretty sure Stox has videos on it as well. I'm excited about trying this game out and then progressing to some stud8 and o8 games. I realize that 2-7 TD has the most variance out of the games but so far I've seen some pretty huge fundamental mistakes that other players are making in the videos. Wardie is already really good at stud8 so I feel like I have tons of catching up to do! So for the rest of the month, I'm going to play limit games and see how I do. My heart just isn't in nl right now.


On Thursday, my friend Angelo who is a bodog midstakes player came into town with his friends. We started at the Baccarat bar at the Bellagio where the guys drank lots of Scotch and ordered cigars. They also had a round of peach bellinis (yummmy!) real manly haha. We then progressed to the super ballin' O'Sheas. We were gonna try to play beer pong but alas, the tables were all full. The guys then moved on to try and play BJ but, there were only 3 seats. Boo.

Angelo and I decided to play some 1/2 only there were no seats open and he just sat and I decided to play railbird. He then proceeded to open shove in $5 pots hahahah and be the general donk at the table. The guy to the left kept trying to chat us up and proceeded to tell us how to meet "live TV pros". The guy to the right was a huge dude who kept throwing around his chips like he was a pro. Ohoh he also had an FTP hat on and it was discovered he was a dealer. He asked my friend if I was his gf and for the sake of avoiding these randoms hitting on me we said yes. Duh. Anyway, my friend proceeded to take everyone's stack at the table and it finally progressed to HU which was super hilarious. The best part was this all occurred in less than an hour of him pretty much playing 90% vpip.

Lastly, I'm so glad all my friends are in town. Although I have to say that my liver will need about a month off after all this debauchery!! (I'm an old lady now haha) Tonight's plans include going to XS which I'm very excited to check out. We have a pretty big group going and even more friends that have another table.

So I was cleaning my place today when I decided to take a little break and play with the doggies. Gamby was so cute I decided to take a video...pardon the mess! Also, the music wasn't on purpose since you can hear Ward messaging me in the background. Ignore my PJs too haha.

Not a whole lot going on here except tons and tons of poker. I feel the urge to get in as many hands as possible because of everyone who is visiting/here in March! Nick is supposed to be visiting too so adding that to all my other friends and my friends that are going to be in town for the Wynn Poker Classic, March is gonna be a super busy month. (not that I'm complaining one bit!) Sorry if this blog is a little sporadic and frazzled, I'm currently playing the 750k and the HU mtt on FTP thanks to the bad influence of a friend!! Hah.

Anyway, so the other night I went out to dinner with a few guys at my fave restaurant, Prime. It was really fun and the guys are awesome. I know I know...pics or gtfo right? I was such a bad influence on the guys who were trying to play video poker. My strategy is to go for the royal flush everytime right?! Lolol don't judge...I don't play video poker except when I want free drinks. The guys would hit trips and I would try to encourage them to go for the Rrrroyallllee hahaha. Good thing they mostly ignored my advice.
