Yesterday i've played a small session with minimal profit. (560 hand , 5.6 BB/100, +15$). I've made two adjustements which are the followings:
- did not checked the results until the session was over, which was pretty usefull this time, because i've started with a big mistake, than a cooler, and was on stop-loss limit, but i didn't felt tilty for a second so i kept playnig and things started klicking.
- i used the folowing: on a flop where i have a nutflush draw, or a monster draw, or oesd with two overs i've raised the opponent with success. It ended up with one fold, and one call and on the turn i've made my hand which he doesn't believed and shipped his money on his own, i just had to call it.

Overall not a bad session if i look at the graph, i've started pretty bad but ended up in the green. The stats were fine, although i'm really dissappointed with my wosd income, it's getting worse and worse, so i have to figure it out what is wrong whith it.

No play for the weekend, i traveling home today, so next session probably not sooner as sunday.

i'm here to report about the things i've done this march. In therms of playing poker, not much at all. i've only done 3 session for a total of -4BI. The last 2 session i've ended pretty quickly cause of a stop loss, and i've talked about a pro about this and it might not be as helpful as i think it is. Yesterday we (my friend from the same limit, a friend from higher limits, and me) did a poker analyzis about my mate's play. He recorded a long session and our much highly qualified friend pointed about some leaks, and how to fix it. Man it's so interesting to compare two players style, because we 2 thought we both play ABC style, but his is so different then mine, but the result is almost the same.
I highly recommend for everyone who struggles to ask someone better player (from higher limits if possible) to analyze YOUR play because nobody knows for sure that "A" player has a leak in "X" theory, then "B" player has to adjust on that "X" for sure. If you try to adjust in a "leak" which maybe doesn't even exist, maybe you harm your game even more. Some leaks are common with other players, but the individual leaks making this whole learning process to a complicated issue. Hope the lines above makes sense for some of u.

The main thoughts i've picked up yesterday:
- don't check continuously your profit while playing because it influences your play in a bad way
- leave the stop loss theory and quit when you feel it's time to quit u playin badly
- if a session starts bad the whole session is going about to make it even. if it starts badly just quit.
- don't give away your money freely: bet 25$ on a 4$ pot or so, don't push your chips in the middle like an idiot. Reraise ai with TPTK or overpair is rarely a good idea.
- on the river, if u have a hand with a showdown value, and your opponent bets for an amount of 1/4-1/5 pot or lower, u should call, because the information u "buy" it's waaaay more valueable for the later hands
- take notes continuously
- when a weak player minraises from UTG position it doesn't mean automatically that he has AA or KK

Altough i've didn't played much recently, i've started to read forums and my books more, watched more videos and summarized I've dealed more hours with poker as i used to. If i keep doing this and way more and will really play as much as a real player i will be satisfied.

Almost forgot to ask: does somebody know how can i change the avatar of my blog? this CR chip looks awesome but i would like to change it for my usual avatar. thx for the help.

I'm here to report the results of february. I know there is a few days left from the month but i won't be able to play, so here are the endresults for february.

What's up guys, it' been a while...

This post will be a unique one. I'm writing it just to remind myself on these days, weeks, months...years.

Everybody can tell u what u really need to do to have success, and not just in poker in other things aswell. It's so simple, it hurts. Just one word: WORK. We're all aware of this i'm sure why do i write this then? After every month i've looked at the stats, have fight against my desperation just to minimize this strange thougth in my mind. Do i really do what i have to do? "Nah, it's just variance.", "Another unlucky/breakeven month". Then a new month started, and the fresh start began to fade into another month, without any real success...but finally i realized, and i'm sure many desperate players have to ask himself this question: are u serious about this poker thing? and when the answer is a clear "YES", then are u putting in the hours of work really needed? Yelling about bad luck for hours isn't count to this category.

I'm really sorry for the days i've missed, to learn more about this game. I really do, but i can't change the past. What i can change is my mindset for the future. And i have to start it now, and this is how i plan this thing.

From the 1st of March, i will record my poker related efforts. Write down how many hours read forums, watched videos, hand histories, thinkin' about the leaks and adjustements. Then at the end of the month i will know, how many hours i spend with poker, and when the numbers are rigth, i can say...Yes, i do what i have to do, yes i work on my game.

Hi guys, it's been a while since i last updated my blog. Something happened which maybe will finally change everything. But not so fast, first a short sumamry over january.
In one word: disaster. I am so dissapointed in myself, because i haven't made any progress in the first month of the year. After 7.000 hand i'm only breakeven. Again. I feel the failures and this unsuccessfull being more and more disturbing. I know i have to change, if i ever want to be a good player. Here are the graph of january.

Yesterday i've played a session about 926 hands, ended up showing a profit of 1/2 bi. I feel i've reached my actual capability with 8 tables, had to hurry sometimes and maybe didn't play as good as i can, so i've deceided in the next sessions i will move down to 6-7 whis is optimal for me. I fellt somekindof lucky yesterday, and dind't ran bad in monday, so i've expect to experience some downswing soon. I'm prepeared for it.
I still can play 2 session this month so looking forward to it. Still up for the month, not as much as i wish for but still green and thats the most important.

yesterday night i was able to play a short session about 1:30 long. I tried to adjust to my friends guidelines, and it worked out well. Honestly i ran good, had 2 flips and won both of them and fellt pretty comfortably at 6-7 tables, enjoyed the action. Only made one mistake, which costed me about 1/2 bi. I was over 3bis and after my decision i kept playing, and after i've made that mistake and dropped down above 3bis i quit. I didn't play much hands, i dind't had much to play anyhow (15/13), but was very agressive, didn't gave up easily a pot.
Looking forward to the next session.

It really is, i'm angry about myself because i didn't do anything at the weekend, just chillin', no reading, no playing. Nothing. I've only participated in the monthy 22.5K gtd freeroll of RTR, busted out before the bubble. Shame on me.
Hope the last week of the month will be kind to me.
Oops, almost forgot to tell, thursday i spoke with my friend (plays NL100-NL400 6max) about my game, gave some guidlines regarding my stats, because after his opinion i play somekindof weak tight poker. That almost 1 our of analyzis completly destroyed my confidence, so i wasn't in the mood of playing for days...I thrust in his advice fully, so i will try to adjust this week, hope it turns out to be the turning point. I've decided also, that in march i will look after a coach, if the next month doesn't hit as i except to.

I just want to report, that i've reached 5.000 hands at PS, so the minimum hand requirement for this month is reached. I haven't played a hand for a week or so at FT, so the in the remaining days of january I will focus on playin at FT NL25.
Today I've played solid IMO, always pushed in when I was a huge favourite -except 1 coin flip which i've lost - and ended down 4bis which is a terrible result. It really destroys my confidence that i'm experiencing that much difficulty at the lowest limit. No matter how bad i run, if I feel comfortable and play well, up to this point I always kept playing because I knew i'm gonna get the money back sooner or later. From now on i will make some changes on this mindset, regarding the outcome of my play, and not the expectation of my play...so here are some guidelines.

If i'm loosing:
- i will quit playing after loosing more than 2bi no matter how cold i ran. If so, no more play on that day, the time I planned to spend with playing will spend with learning

If i'm winning:
- if i play well and run ok, i think it's time to quit after reaching +3bi-s.
- if i run hot, there are no limits, but if I lose 1bi or fall down to 4bi or below, i quit. If so, after 1 hour of intermission, i can go back to the tables.

I think this adjustement will help, to prevent myself from tilt and mood issues which are influencing my play.

Hi guys

I almost forget, I've made a deposit to PS somewhere in novemeber 2008, and don't played a hand since then. The expiration date of the first deposit bonus is the 29th of march, and I have to collect 500 fpps. I already started to play and played 3400 hand and collected 115 fpps, so to reach the goal won't be difficult. I deposited only 100$ so i started with NL10 6max, and man it takes a lot of discipline...
Yesterday i played a hand the dumbest, fishiest way i can imagine, but it opened my eyes in some reasons. I've realized that i won't be able to be a solid winner, until I clear my menthal problems and change my mindset. I decieded that i won't wait until the 1st section of the Schoonmaker book arrives, i have to start with the 2nd immediately.
I've played this month 5030 NL25 and 3400 NL10 hands, so to reach the 10.000 minimum goal shouldn't be a problem,
