Running slightly better. Now only down 2.7k in ev. I think im playing worse but.

New rule:
-9 table max: i have a bad habit of opening more and more tables. I need to focus more on playing my best at the tables i am at.

Maybe ill post a graph when i get to 20k hands. Im at 8k at the moment. So it may take me a week or two.

Im playing much better now. I know if i keept playing this way i will win lots of money. Just have to ride out the variance.

So far im 5k below ev in 5k hands of 2/4. down about 3.6k. I think i could have played a little better. and maybe only be down 2.5k. which would make a huge difference to me psychologically right now.

So my goal is to keep playing, and playing my A game. I have been 9 tabling which i think i can keep up with. If i keep on playing 2-3k hands a day, i should be done with the 50k hands soon.

I was doing well 6 tabling. Then hit a bad run of cards, and played very badly because of it. Im about even in EV and down close to 9 buyins in dollars. o well. I think it should be more like 4. I played very badly.

I just cant tilt if im going to succeed.

Also i get very anxious when i have limited time to play. I am doing 7 hours at uni for the next 4 days. makes me play bad i think. So thats one thing to think about/work on.

so im starting a blog. im 26 and have played poker for 4-5 years. i have done pretty well. but havent played a whole lot lately. but when i have played my results are medicore at best. So im gonna try and challenge myself a bit more.

Im in my last year of university, so its my last chance to try and really succeed. My original goal was $1,000,000 by Aug 1st 2011. Which is lofty, and maybe unachievable now, but i dont want to play poker just to grind out dollars. I want to play to either grind out lots of dollars, or to be the best. Im not interested in making 100k a yr, as i dont think it would be much of a life playing full time. I would get bored very easily. So this means getting to 10/20+ as quickly as possible.

My first goal is to play 50k hands at 2/4 6 max and win 20k dollars (5ptbb/100). I will probably stop at which ever of the two come first. Then move back into the 5/10 games and 6 table (i usually only 3 table). My goal is still to play bigger games, but i need the back up plan. Which is 6 tabling 5/10, as i think i can still make good money doing that.

Also I am very reluctant to start a blog. Mostly because I feel like I will give away information about my game to people I play regularly. So the poker content might be light. But we'll see how we go.
