Yeah, we all know poker got shut down. I've been pretty busy lately, and haven't had a good opportunity to read up on everything going on. Bottom line is, when is it likely that I'll be able to see the money I have online? I have around $3k online that I need for college expenses.

I decided to get back into poker this month. Why? Because I wanted a ps3 and didn't want to have to buy one. I had enough points on PokerStars to buy one, so I just had to grind out 3000 vpps to get gold status. I decided to 24 table 25nl full ring. It didn't go well. I was INSANELY rusty. I played most the hands without a hud because I have a Mac, but then I switched to my PC VM to get a hud running, which helped me out.

Results:

ps3's cost about $300, so at this point I've lost $200. Then I decided to play some heads up.

Total Month thus far:

I've been away from poker for about 8 months now I believe. I've never been happier. Poker is really fun when it isn't your job. I hated the feeling of "having" to play. Not sure if anybody is going to read this. Ask me questions if you want.

I woke up this morning feeling like P-Diddy because I just finished up my last exam for the semester! I broke my 4.0 gpa this semester though :(. I got 4 As and 1 B. I fail at life, I know.

Starting Monday I'm doing a 40/hr a week job which pays $10/hr. Meh. I only took it because it is testing software for a company, which looks really really good on a computer science major's resume. The job is in the computer science building on campus. Because of this, I am forced to move out of my dorm into a new dorm for summer housing until I get into my apartment on June 1st. Sunday I'm going to IKEA to buy a bunch of stuff for the apartment and busto my real life roll. I seriously have about 30x more money online than I do in my bank account.

If you didn't hear, Nutedawg just put on a really awesome promotion to help raise money for Mercy Home for Boys & Girls. As a side note I'm a huge hypocrite. I've said in the forums many times that I would never fold KK pre for 100bbs. Well, I did. I was 1-tabling during Sociology. I don't normally play poker during class, but today's lecture was about religion, and I could tell my professor did not have a good concept of what religion really is, so I stopped listening and went on to more important things.

In my experience, people don't have a balanced cold 4bet range when UTG raises, CO flats, and a BTN squeeze, so I put on pretty much only aces. When UTG ships it's just so likely that one (or two) people have aces, and since I only invested $3, and I didn't want to lose $100 while in class, I just mucked. I'm really mad that I didn't even get to see his cards!

I haven't been playing much poker at all lately due to college schtuff. I've been uber busy writing all the code for a pretty complex website (it's for my college's library, very boring) and I finally got a functional prototype completed, so I get some time off while other people make it look good. I've been dabbling around in PLO and really like it. I think PLO is actually the future of poker, so I want to get at least some knowledge of it. I know how the internet loves graphs so here ya go:



This is all PLO 50 and has some heads up mixed in that I got brutalized in. 6 buyins in 3.5k hands is good for me though, seems like a bunch of fish just give you a bunch of money for free.

I've also been thinking a lot about grad school. Most people who know me IRL suggest grad school to me. Almost all my family and professors expect that I'm going to grad school. I really don't know much about it, so if you did go, or know about it, feel free to answer these Q's. I would go to study computer science

• How many years does it take to graduate with a PhD?
• Is it easy/common to get it paid for?
• Is it an 8am-8pm type of deal? Is it possible to have a life outside of grad school?
• How hard is it to get into a solid school? What about Ivy League?

Just bought this game for 360 and I really like it. Online seems pretty laggy but hopefully will improve. I noticed a bunch of glitches too, but I'm sure they'll be patched within a month. I'm super obsessed with baseball games. Does anybody want to play? Leave a comment or PM me.

I lost 5 bis in 600 hands tonight and I just don't know how. I won 1 pot over 20 bbs. When I cbet with air, I was floated and didn't get a good barrel card. When I flopped the nuts, they c/f. When I 3bet AA they fold. When i 3bet A5 they jam. I haven't had much time to play lately. But when I do play, I get the shaft. I really have no desire to be a 3/6 reg anymore. I'd be so happy just playing 25nl full ring and mixing in some heads up and just never losing. I'm taking a job this week, which will occupy a lot of my free time from college, so I will be playing much less. I just want to withdraw my roll, furnish my apartment, rub money on my titties, and not play poker until August.

I have a weird on and off obsession with bejeweled. In particular, bejeweled blitz on Facebook. I recently landed my biggest score. Can you beat it?
