Didn't hit the 15k I wanted, but finished up 10k including rakeback and bonuses.

February has been a slow month for me. My 6max stats are doing great, up almost $5k thru Feb 12th at a winrate of 6.72BB/100 playing a mix of 400PLO and 200PLO - however I dropped $1.8k in a spewy heads up match.

Unless somehow I start actually playing some hands, expect Feb to be in the +8k range.

On a side note, I'm planning on spending some of my hard earned winnings on a new car. Pictures to follow, and comments/feedback would be appreciated!

After a morning session winning $500, I went for the gusto by putting it on the Chargers to cover 6.5 points versus the Steelers today. Unfortunately they couldn't keep the offense on the field so I had to put in an afternoon session to make it back up.

Glad I did!



So another day, another 5 buy ins.

+$1079.55 today, running a red hot 16.49bb/100 since Jan 1st.

Also cleared my Iron man bonus of $575 today.

Running total for Jan is around +5k including rakeback and bonuses. I think I'll aim for hitting 15k for the month which would be an all time high, but seems totally doable.

This will be an introductory blog just to see if anyone's out there and interested...

My name is Paul and I've been playing poker for about 4 years now. I started playing $10 SNGs on Party Poker and currently I play 400NL 6max or FR and 200PLO on Full Tilt Poker.

I moved up to 400NL in June and was rewarded in September and October with 10k months. Then then doomswitch was turned on and I hit a massive $16000 downswing. This downswing lasted all of November and part of December. I took a break for a while and switched to Full Ring before I started to make my recovery.

After a -4k start to December, I ended at +7500 which was a great turnaround.




I recently started watching the PLO video series from Wazz and also a PLO series on DC. I have been playing 200PLO on Full Tilt with a retooled style and I have had great success.

It amazes me how much easier the game has been with just a few adjustments.

I lost quite a bit playing HU PLO while getting it in as a favorite a few times but I've decided that the varience is not worth the stress so I won't be playing HU any more. Filtered to remove the HU stats, my 200PLO 6max stats are a very healthy 11.50 bb /100 which translates to +$2,143 over 3,570 hands.

I'm also 2/3 of the way to clearing my $575 year-end bonus from Full Tilt.
