Yesterday Vitalmyths videoseriers made me enter my 6th phase as a poker player.

Phase 1; Nov 2005-May 2006
Small deposits on every site for like a total loss off 2-3k$. No knowledge about the game, keeping the hope up by some random donkamentshippings.

Phase 2; May 2006-January 2007
My first run as a proffesional poker player. Played sngs and MTTs. In May I played 10+1, in January 2007 the buyin exceeded 100. Started university and quit poker.

Phase 3;
May 2007-July 2007
Deposited 600$ and tried cash games. Made about a grand, got owned at nl100 and cashed out.

Phase 4;
Found 196$ online. A rakeback from the summer that I missed to cash out. Consulted some friends and started to play nl20. Shipped it up and down to 1k a couple of times. Heard about cardrunners, signed up. Made 5k$ that spring, HUGE!!!! Took it all out and left 1k online. Spent June in Austria, came back in July and Heard about holdem manager, signed up. Went from nl50 to nl200 in two weeks. Huge, 8k in two weeks! Ship, played some 2/5 in august. Experienced my first 10k loss weak. Sucks =(

Made over 100k from that summer to the next. Hit 3 big donkament winnings, one for 37.5k$ , one for 20k$ and one for 14k$ smth. Also made a lot in cash games. During the February 2009-May 2009 I cashed out around 10k$ every months without even playing that much.

Phase 5;
July; Comes back after 1 month away from the tables. 8ka‚¬ online. The game is 2/4a‚¬. Overaggro Europeans, shallow bankroll, bad games. The loss is invitable. From that day until today, I am down a lot on cash games. Ive felt stressed out, freaked out, loss of control. Ive felt lika a fiasco. People has asked me in the chat "wtf happened". Why are you down here.

Phase 6;
Doing it right. I play nl50, I enjoy it and intend to do so until I have a 5k$ bankroll again (funny enough my bankroll was over 10k just some two weaks ago but I blew it at nl600 lol. Why not just chill at nl200 and never bust). I want to play my Agame as often as possible, and in order to do so I must really, as vitalmyts says, have a deeper bankroll. I must be able to afford to act after what I think is the best decision and not after the bankroll. If youre in a big pot which is a really big portion of your bankroll it is tougher to get away even though you know nothing he has cant beat you.

Well, I think I'll get really far with this new mindset.
