Hey guys,

So I'm still in Australia and yesterday I had an amazing experience that I thought I would share with you all (the small amount of people who read my blog :(...I want Townsend popularity! Let's go people! *I guess I should write more for that to happen*). Anyway, I just left my namesake town...Cairns, Australia (sad I know) to come to Mission Beach to do a skydive over the ocean landing on the beach! Pretty freakin' cool stuff if I do say so myself. My friend and I did a 14 000 foot dive where you are freefalling for 60 seconds straight! Falling through the air at mach speed (I'm being dramatic but you get the idea) is like nothing I've ever felt before. I was obviously strapped in with an instructor as I have no experience with skydiving but it didn't matter its just a truly crazy feeling. I was definitely scared in the days leading up to it but as soon as I was in the plane a calm came over me and I was ready to jump. For those of you who are on the fence about doing this I strongly recommend you do it, you won't regret it and its very safe. I got a video and pictures of myself so when I receive them in the mail maybe I'll post them on my blog!

Anyway, I also wanted to quickly make a few clarifications about what to expect from my blog. As a read through one of my previous entries (for the first time ever) last night I realized that there were a few spelling mistakes, some improper english, etc. I want to make it clear to you guys that my blog is an in the moment reflection of exactly how I am feeling at that point in time. I never read through my blog posts after the fact to look for errors etc. because I find it would reflect an impure version of what I am trying to get across. I write blogs when I feel inspired to do so and with that in mind you guys should expect that they will be a passionate reflection of what I am talking about. Therefore, don't expect Shakespearean English here. Be prepared for a lot of !!!!! AND A LOT OF CAPS and a few spelling errors along the way. I hope that you guys get something out of my blog as I generally try to tie a poker lesson I've learned into a greater life lesson. In the case of this particular blog it has nothing poker related. I am back in Canada on November 1st and will be heading to Montreal to crush FTOPS with a few of my friends. I am then probably going to head out to BC for the BCPC around the 10th or 11th so any of you that are out there for that give me a shout. For now that is all I got boys and girls.

Remember there is more to life than poker.
