Tuesday: $300 Tournament / 5-5 NLHE

Tourney:

Busted out in 21st place when I ran AKs into KK :/ Had 24bb's in the SB. UTG + 2 3x'd to 3000 and I 3bet making it 12000. I was looking to jam any flop. Unfortunately, he 4 bet jammed and I stacked off and was drawing pretty slim. Next...

I backed a fellow CR member into the tourney. He was pretty card dead from the start but managed to hang on for quite a while. Eskal also played in the tourney but busted out of the money as well. The only other player I would consider a good player actually ended up winning the tourney. I play live cash with him a lot and actually ended up in a 400bb HU pot with him later in the week.

5-5 NLHE:

I didn't sit down in the Cash game until pretty late. The waiting list was pretty long by the time I busted in the tourney so I ended up sitting around and talking with some guys I know. I sat down around midnight and in about 2 hours or so my stack was at 400bb's. The game was great. All but 1 out of the other 8 players were HUGE fish. Even he was pretty soft. It was pretty much a dream table. Here's how dreams get crushed though..

About an hour later I was up a BI and decided to take the win and get up.

Wednesday 5-5 NLHE:

Didn't play well...Didn't run good... -4 BI's.

Thursday 5-5 NLHE:

Self sabotaged my way to a 1/2 BI loss. F Me.. Hard.

Friday 2-5 NLHE:

I woke up and spent several hours going over hands and looking for mistakes. Really started breaking down specific hands against specific apponents (I jot down hands on my iphone at the table). Went into my Friday session determined to play well no matter what the results were. Ran 4 OP's into sets in standard hands in the first 2 hours and was stuck 3+ BI's. I wasn't too shaken up though as I felt like I was still playing well and when the table tightened up I started Iso'ing some weak players PF with 3 bets and taking some pots and rebuilding my stack. Then the only solid opponenet at the table decides to go to war....



We haven't played that many key HU hands together in the last month or so mainly because we are usually in battle against other opponents This guy thinks he's a lot better than he is and although I've been avoiding him at the table.. I feel like I haven't played the hands I have played against him very well. Anyway...made up my mind that I'm gonna start crushing his world from now on, fukk em. He had 3 bet me pretty light early on in the night and I felt like he thought I was annoyed buy it and was planning some big play against him. Atleast that's what I picked up from small talk and general bs throughout the night. So, when I raise his UTG raise on the BTN, he decides to get Scitso. I make the turn bet small enough so that he has over the pot in chips left in his stack, knowing he's calling no matter what he has to shove the river. Send the money...

Table started breaking and it was soon 5 handed. Until about noon, I basically bitch slapped my opponents and made the final 2 basically quit on me saying that they couldn't play against a guy who's always making the nuts. I made the nuts twice in 15 fukking hours! Also, the 3'rd one, after I stacked the shit out of him for the 2nd time... accused me of knowing the dealer and cheating. LOL. Awesome. I cashed out an almost 8 BI stack. See you Friday fukkers...

I'm gonna update this post throughout the week with other life stuff thats going on but its about 6:30 Tuesday evening and I gotta hit the shower and head out to my Tuesday game.

As for the title of this post...

My buddy Chubs loaded up my iPod with his sick iTunes library and I have been smashign T.I.'s "My Life Your Entertainment" on replay all week. For any of you guys that play live, this song will make you feel like you are peacefully untouchable (Whatever that means). If you've never heard it, check it out....
