I can't fukking believe it. I'm 28 years old today. 28? 28!....

Last 2 weeks of poker have been been brutal. Just getting it in super good and getting crushed. Nothing to do but complain a little. Played in a mixed PLO/NLHE game on Tuesday that pretty much characterized my last 7 sessions. Don't really feel like posting all the losing hands. Just wanna forget about it and look ahead.

Goodfella and Julie woke me up this morning and brought me a birthday cupcake and coffee. How sweet is that. It was all her idea for sure...

Just got back from my walk about downtown. I like to do something to help people on my bday. We should all be doing that regularly but it takes a lot of dicipline and commitment and I praise people who follow through with their good will on a regular basis. To make sure I do something at least a few times a year, I try and volunteer on my bdays, christmas, and thanksgiving. I haven't kept up with that regularly so I wanted to make sure I did something today. So, I went to the grocery store and stuffed my backpack (bought, not stole) with bananas, sandwiches, and water. Then I walked around downtown and gave it out to people in need. I had a good time chatting it up with a bunch of people. People have such interesting stories, ideas, and experiences. I learned a lot from so many people today. Allthough it wasn't much, I hope I helped someone have a better day today as so many people in my life have already done for me today.

My boy Chub made a reservation for me at a nice Italian place for tonight and her and I will stop by his club later tonight cause he baked a birthday cake for me! One man baking another man a cake.. now thats some mutherfukkin love right there. Dude is solid man...

So all in all.. everything besides poker is good. Let's just hope I'm still alive on Sunday. As I told Skinny, I plan on being blackout drunk! Also, today is the start of SkinnyBrown's poker career. Wish him luck yall!
