Ok..So here's the deal with regards to this blog. My full intention was to blog everyday, this goal however, like so many ive set in my poker career has been unrealistic. This probably had to due with starting it at the worst possible time of the year in final exam time and combining that with a couple resignations from work + a minor promotion has totally made the past month absolutely crazy busy. But now, fuck all that and lets get back to poker.
Im not going to set any goals or anything like that, but I will set a couple of restrictions to my playing habits.
1. STICK TO WHAT I KNOW!!!
I don't know cash games. There, I said it. However, I will continue to play 50nl when im bored of the sng grind. But not much, as I am sacrificing $$$ when I do this. I'll play the scattered <30$ mtt but only again as a boredom breaker.
2. Not to mess around with my roll.
Im comfortable with my roll. In saying this, I won't shoot myself in the foot by withdrawing any of it to pay for anything. PERIOD. I cringe to think of the amount of my roll ive squandared in the past and the limits i know could be playing at if it were not for periodic withdrawals.
That's it. 2 rules. Simple enough right? We'll see. Historically I'm bad at this shit, but I'm more focused on making the right decisions, both poker management wise and game wise than ive ever been.
Life-wise, exams are over!!!! so let's play some cards (best kgb accent applied)
as a side note, calling for you life with T8 soooted on the bubble with 2 short stacks remaining is not even borderline retarded, its completely and utterly stupid. Don't do it.
That is all.
