This is my first blog entry. Been a CR member for just a few weeks. Couldn't get the videos to play for a week or so until I had my girlfriend fix it for me. I've watched 4-5 PLO videos so far. A couple by Brian Townsend and Brian and Andrew. All have been very good so far. Eye opening. Found many leaks to my game. My favorite game has always been PLO8 but am working on moving to PLO exclusively.

I haven't played much in the past few days. My girlfriend is pregnant and we have been waiting for the baby to finally pop out. Her due date is today. That little girl (Lilly) just doesn't want to come out yet. So I'll just watch some videos until I have time to put in some good sessions. With a new baby maybe I won't have time to play for awhile. We will see. Our first child. My girlfriend has been having trouble sleeping. Very uncomfortable. So the other night I was watching a video in bed with my headphones on and had her listen. She fell right to sleep (sorry Brian, Brian and Andrew). I enjoyed them but I guess she got bored. Was just happy to see her get some sleep. She isn't much of a card player, but I'm working on her. We live in Iowa but last March we were in Arizona watching her little sister play softball. She plays for Luther College in Decorah Iowa but we went down for a tournament her sis was play in. Anyway, we went to a casino one night and I had her play some 3-6 limit holdem and I also sat in the game. I blew through a couple hundred pretty quickly while she racked up a $80 win in her first ever (and still only) game. She enjoyed it. I bought her rack of chips so of course I made her pay me back the $100 but let her keep the $80. Hey, I was stuck $200 what did you expect? Then in May we went to Vegas and I played alot of $2-$5 no limit. Won enough to pay for my flight, hotel, etc and came home with about the same amount I headed out with so it was a decent trip. She didn't play at all but enjoyed sitting behind me trying to get reads on other players. She never said anything during hands to myself or anything but after hands she was try to tell me if I got bluffed, etc. Kinda funny. Kept telling her if she knew everything to get some chips. She didn't.

Anyway, that's enough for my first Blog entry. Keep you updated on child situation. Could be any minute now considering due date (today) has pretty much come and gone.
