I have started working towards my goals and have had decent results. I pulled a lot of money off Stars due to Lee and his doom switch and moved it to Full Tilt.Been playing the $50 and $100 PLO cash games and am running average. I am running at 14 BB/100 with VPIP 40 and PFR 7 over 1500 hands this week on the 6 max. I should be up a lot more but variance is killing me. At these levels the play is pretty weak and a high BB/100 is very attainable. I am really going to concentrate on these cash games and try to really put in some hands.

Part of my problem is that I do not play enough. I use to crank out 1000- 1500 hands a day and made decent money. I started jumping around to much and needed to set some goals like I did and get back to the grind stone.

Work at the Fire Dept has been insane crazy with the cold temperatures this past month. We dont get any sleep and just run around the city all night with a heros for hire sign.

I have a hottub for sale and had some guy drive three hours to come look at it. He bitched me out when he showed up and saw it saying that the picture looked like it was made out of granite. I kind of laughed asking him if he realized how heavy a granite hot tub would be. He sent me this email later.

"You are a Complete "ASSHOLE" for letting me drive all that way and waste a tremendous amount of gas to look at a hot tub that was not even the one in the picture. ARE YOU A FUCKING MORON??? It is people like you, that make it hard to have faith and trust in Mankind. I am reporting you to craigslist, about your fraudulent ad. I hope you have a rotten Christmas and wish you all the Bad luck for the new year! "

I offered to pay for some of his fuel cost but he would not respond. I am hoping the bad luck doesnt stick for the new year. Thanks for reading.

I recently cashed out leaving myself just a few buy ins at the same levels I have always played. I then got to thinking if I had never cashed out at what level would I be playing. I estimate that I have taken over 20K out of the online community and put the money towards worthwhile things. Nothing I needed but rather just catching up on bills or vacations and stuff. If I had kept it all on I would now be nicely rolled for bigger buy ins obviously and be making more money. I am a winning player and have the record to back it up and am now kind of sick because of the cash out choices I have made.

The problem is when I tilt I dont start playing bad. I stop playing and cashout to protect my money. Not a horrible decision by any means but I am still aggravated by my choices. If I had 20K now I could be properly rolled for the Sunday Majors and be taking shots at the bigger money. I guess I am going to set some goals for my future.

Sit and goes own me so bad that I think I am going to stop playing them to start with. Variance is such a bitch and I run worst than anyone I know. Normally people that complain about this talk about poker as a whole but I do fine in cash and multi's. Just sit and goes for some reason I can only manage to break even.

Goals

1. No more sit and goes.

2. Cash games and Multi's only within my bankroll.

3. No more cashing out.

4. Build bankroll to be properly rolled for Majors.

I think thats a start. I know 20K is small potatoes but I am sick to my stomach thinking what I could have done with that type of bankroll now days. I have always set goals in poker and hope to be able to take this one one. I find that people can focus better when the set out goals and have a direction that they can follow. If you dont your just kind of wandering aimlessly like me for two years.

About 15 pounds of fajitas for 10 guys. Topped with sourcream, cheese, wrapped in flour shells. So good. No one can move right now, hope we dont get a call.

No poker content. I am running so break even right now which is all right I guess. Nothing else has happened.

I had to cash out a lot of my bankroll due to just horrible suckouts. The play is so horrible at a lot of these lower levels yet somehow these guys are rewarded consistently. Watching these videos does nothing but frustrate me further when I am making the same moves as these"pros" with nothing holding. We are getting way beyond variance here.

This times 100 over the past week. Oh well, I should probably stick to tournaments I am an obvious cash game donk. I drop down to these stupid donk tard levels to practice good bankroll management and get ripped a new one. I cashed out over 70% of my bankroll so I can go blow it on booze and hookers. At least after I get screwed I will have a smile on my face when its done.

Just dropped like 6 buy ins screwing around on the PLO$25. I was a 64%- 90% favorite on 5 of them and a 44% dog on the other due to him having my flush draw covered. It is amazing how swingy this game is. I truely believe that at the lower levels $50 and under there is very minimum skill involved. It all comes down to hand selection. No one understands position or starting hands at this level. You basically have to wait for a nut hand or huge draw on the flop and push to get anything done. A 4th grader could play this game if you could teach him to flop big hands and push. Nothing but a numbers game thats all.

Quick 4 step guide to low limit PLO

I dont have very many hands played at this level maybe 10K but hopefully variance is just taking it's toll. I always expect to win every session I play and it took me the longest time to get over the fact that you cant. Everytime I try to take poker serious I get my dick knocked in the dirt. Then when I stop caring and just have fun I get all drunk at the bars and come home and take down MTT's, lol, who know's? I might be on to something.

Guy just finished restoring his 1962 Jaguar and decides to get it out Saturday afternoon. Ends up rear ending some van and sending them to the hospital. Guy handeled it pretty cool for just wasting the last 4 years of his life. Said the hood alone cost 5K. Got all up into the engine and bent the frame. Said he had over 90K wrapped up in it.

Just still been playing some low buy in HORSE. I cant concentrate and tend to get all overprotective with my bankroll. I am sitting with over $2500 right now and just play these stupid little $25 cash games. Oh well. Trying to sell a bunch of stuff on craigslist and am getting nothing but scammers. I have not played much recently because I cant get any sleep, Freaking killing me. I played some HORSE just at the smaller buy in tables and ran well. I just cant focus on anything. Fire deoartment is so busy right now. We had a 700 pound man code on us in a second floor house and had to use a chainsaw to cut through doors and walls to get him out. Next shift we had a 500 pound woman code in front of us and by the time we got to the hospital I was covered in vomit. Last meal was Capn Crunch and starbucks coffee I assume. All in my hair and running down my back. This freaking job does not pay enough to deal with this crap.

Got off work tonight and had to pop some vicodin and muscle relaxer for my shoulder then decided to hit the bar. Probably a bad idea. Just got home and I dont think I can feel my face. LOL. Thinking about loading up some sit and goes, I always play better messed up for some reason. I wish I could fall asleep.

HORSE WSOP on espn has been interesting to watch. I forgot who won this year so it makes more fun to watch.

..last night and sits next to me. Starts talking to me and I cant understand a word she is saying. Her sister comes over and tells me sorry and tries to get her to leave. She sits there looking at me and I must have a sign on me somewhere that says "please tell me your life story" cause she pretty much starts from the begining. Im half listening trying to be polite but I am completely drunk and can barely stay balanced on my bar stool let alone try to concentrate on her story. She then gets into how she just lost her 19 year old son over in Iraq and how lost she is. She gives me a hug and tells me I remind her of her son. She was drunk but not like completely out of it. She never cried or anything but I did not know what to tell her. Just basically said her son is a saint and God bless him and that I would pray for her. Very depressing when you see first hand how it affects people.

I have not played much lately after winning the rebuy the other night. I cant get any sleep and my play suffers when I have been up for 24 hours or longer. I have been up for about 45 hours straight right now and I am starting to feel it. I played the $5 PLO rebuy tonight and busted out after 10 minutes. I did not rebuy and just figured screw it. I cant concentrate and dont even feel like playing.

Scarface came on cable and I have never seen the whole thing. I am the only guy I know who has not seen a whole movie start to finish. Animal House, Godfather, Saving Private Ryan, etc... I cant sit still for 2 hours I get bored. I stopped going to the movies a long time ago. Last movie I went to see was The Forgotten with Julianne Moore (2004)

The final table of the 2007 WSOP was good I thought. That Jerry Yang seemed to really dominate the table and even after doubling up three guys near the end he kept his composure and did not tilt. It will be interested to see if he can get deep in some more tournaments.

I was finally able to take this thing down last night. These things require a ton of skill so I came home from the bar drunk off my ass after knocking out 2 bottles of wine and seen it was starting in ten so decided to donk it up. I was first place after 10 minutes and did not look back. At one point I had 150,000 and second had like 45,000. I was dying by the second break and actually fell asleep twice, lol. Ended up waking up in time for last 3 tables. Lost the chip lead at the final table but got it back for heads up. Ended around 04:30 and I passed out. Had to be up at 7:00 am and wish I could choke myself out.

Yankees lost so I guess Torre is getting fired. Makes me sick most winningest coach in the off season ever getting fired. His next coaching job his resume will have two words on it.... Joe Torre. I mean who do they think they are going to get that is better than Torre. Maybe save some $ on a different coach but talk about no love or respect. Think of five names when you here the word Yankees and Torre is one of them. I hate to see tradition fall like this.
