I spent the last 5 days in Niagara Falls on vacation. It was great to get away and get caught up on my sleep. I even got in some poker at Seneca Niagara Casino. I played some 100 and 200 max NLH and was up about $400. I had my first at the poker table massage and it was worth every penny! I even played some 2/4 limit hold'em with my girlfriend. Wow it was sic with 7+ player seeing every flop and 5-6 players seeing the turn. It was truly no fold'em hold'em. The poker room was pretty nice and the games were very soft but the rake was way too strong. In both the 2/4 and 100max NLH they took $3 anytime there was a flop and then another $1 on 20 and 40. The first hand I won I limped behind one player and the blinds completed. I bet on the flop and took it down and the dealer tossed me one red chip and i ask where is the rest of the pot!!! That is a 40% rake!!
I just played a short and sweat session of 4-5 tables of 50NLH and i am up almost 2 BIs. So the new year is off to a good start
