i swear to fuck, i am pissed off right now. I am paying above average for a hotel in bangkok as they have wifi which i also haven that expensive to pay extra for. before i even paid over money i came up to the lobby and played for 3 hours. i only got cut off once, so i happily stayed her. now since then i have been cut off everty fiucking 6th hand. i had to fold out of a hand where i had top full house and folded other hands like KK and AA.. fck this is fucking my heead right up.

down 6 buyins at 50 nl now. 3 contributed to this tilt. the rest - KK V AA lost, Got coolered when flushes hot a few times and general folding to raises in tight spots..

i then went out to the siam centre where there is a cool internt shop with supposedly the most reliable and fastest line in bangkok. so i asked how much to use the internet. they said 50 baht, which is like a euro and 20 cent per hour, i said cool.. i then proceed to bring out my laptop and he said its 150 baht per hour for wifi.. what the fuck?? three times the price to use my own computer. .thats 3 euro's 60 cent. its not even that expensive at home in ireland.. FUCK THAT..

i stormed out raging.. and for the life of me i cant find any more internt shops around here that are any good.. i was going to pay for this holiday by grinding hands but this is just fucking ridiculous. tomorrow i am hopping on the sky train exploring the city looking for a good connection. there has to be fucking one somewhere..

sorry for the obsenities but i and fucking raging mad now..

at least i bought entourage season 3 and 4, officer season 3 and 4 for 20 dollars today.. im going to veg for the rst of the day and see how i go tomorrow.. fckin sickened

if anyone reading has any experience of bangkok can they please inform me where i can plucg in my laptop and get a someway decent connect..pleassseeee..

I have been in Bangkok for the past week. the whole point of coming back to bangkok was to grind out hands and keep the cost of living down. My 6 month contract in sydney set me up nicely so that i havent worked since may 8th. However i never really got inas many hands as i wanted when i lived in melbourne and i did have a bad month of a combination of running really bad and realsing a few leaks.

However in the past two weeks i have moved back up to 50NL and i now playing solely on Full Tilt as the rake back and bonuses i have still left to clear make it a lot more worthwhile. Also i think i prefer the software as it has better playablity and more hands can be played per hour.

My only issue at the moemnt os getting a reliable internet connection for my laptop. I have a budget of 1500 baht a day which is about 42 us dollars. i was staying in a hotel in khao san road for 600 baht which had free wifi but the connection was only good from 6am to 10am in the morning. i didnt mind that as i got up early to grind howver the touts and hawkers on khao san road were getting the better of me and if i had to hear another fucker ask me if i wanted a suit i was going to box him. So i have moved into an inn near the Siam centre in the city centre. However wifi connection here is crap so i found a new place to stay from tomorrow night. the price though is 810 baht a night but it does include free breakfast which cost 100 baht so the room really costs 710. Wifi isnt free though, buts its not too bad

Seeing as im travelling on my own for the first time ever its a brand new experience and i like it 90% of the time. However some times you do miss your friends to have some friendly banter with, but the freedom to do what you want defo makes up for it.

I befriended a lovely couple who were working here as english teachers on friday. they introduced me to their friends and i went out on the batter with them down to this surreal spot.. i preume theres no other word to describe it bar a red light district area with loads of bars with girls dancing on bars wearing illuminious cowboy type miniskirts and hats.. the whole street was light up like christmas and packed with tourist and locals. we found refuge in an irish pub and i had a thai poured pint of guinness. not too bad. i then got really drunk on pints of chabg (6.7 % alcohol volume) and ended up in a night club somewhere and i have no idea how i made my way home. thankfully bank cards and passports were still in my pocket the next day.

I am off down to a giant sports bar in the novotel holtel in siam square to watch the liverpool v astob villa game in an hours time. hopefully robbie keane can break his duck for the pool tonight.

Im in queens town in new zealand now.. pretty darn cold and after going snowboarding for a few days hasa left me sore, exhausted and a suffering a bit fo a headcold.. great experience though..

anyways, its my last night here before i head on to dunedin. i have played 2 live games, one in christchuch, a 1/2 nl 100 max buy in game and in queenstown in a 2/5 nl 200 max buyin.. i made pone bad mistake in the 1/2 game which left me with only 16 dollars profit instead of 126.. i called it a day soon after i made the mistake as i was steaming..

the 2/5 game i was really enjoying.. strange as i signed up thinking it was a 1/2 game and didnt realise it was a 2/5 until i sat down in the game. i played good and got some ok hands. I probably could have played 2 hands better when i tried to bluff a solid player with his poker stars hat on but thankfully i laid down before i whent all the way with it.. he had flopped quads. another time i called a rerasie on the river with a 2nd pair in a passive pot.. however at this pot i was still very much on profit and at one stage i was 300 dollars up (after the massive 10% rake, no time charge) and the i lost a hand where i had JJ, and raised to 20 pf... i cbet and was reraised on a 893(2 suited diamonds) flop by a loose splashy player. i called and was going to re evaluate on the turn.. bingo a J on the turn.. the villain goes all in for his last 100 or so and i recheck the board and call after thinking that there was no way he min rerasied me with a gunshot(if he did i think was going to pay it off as i was way ahead of his range), he probably has a flush draw or a set, or two pair... anyways he was bluffing me on the flop and he semi bluffed all in on the turn with A10. anyways river card wa s diamond so i presume i am beat but then he flopw over the A10 unsuited and gets there for the straight.. anywasy i ended the night down 175 bucks and i left staright after that hand as i didnt feel great.. by the way he also slowrolled his cards at the end so i though i hand wone.. what a prick...

anyways, it s good to vent it here..

I played 2800 hands of 25nl today on stars and down 5 buyins. lost 8 buyins to bad beats and 2.5 buyins to mistakes.. ah well, just when i had grinded back up to 1100 after my last 28 buyin downswing.

I played 300 hands of 50nl on full tilt and made 10 bucks. i dont think my poker tracker was working correctly today as it said i made 40 bucks which doesnt match my actual balance.

heading to new zealand on tuesday. my time in oz is nearly up.. overall its a nice country if you have some cash to splash about.. The aussie women are nice but hard to crack, the blokes are lazy(sorry laid back!) and the weather isnt half as good as i thought it would be.. for some reason i just want to leave, but i think thats down to the fact i dont want to work in an office again and thats the only way i can stay on here..

cant sell my car as it wont pass the road worthy test.. piece of shit. so im off to scrap yard tomorrow to get 350 dollars for it.. i suppose i should be thankful im gettin some money at all.. i wasted so much money on the hump of junk..

anyways im up 600 dollars from poker the last few week or so from bonuses and results.. i thought my game was on a new level this week but today was demoralising again. i also found i got bored after i had played 1200 hands.. maybe thats just my optimum amount per day..

im actually enjoying 50nl on full tilt.. its pretty agro and tables are much tigher but i like the playablitly of the site and i only 3 table so i can take good notes.

i drink too much. i realise now that if i spend all my weekends going out meeting my friends who invariable are irish i end up drunk. Maybe you dont know but us irish are a different breed to every one else.It wrecks my head big timeI ihave the biggest rubber arm in history.

Yesterday i spent 4 hours going through my last 12000 hands of poker, ok only the pots bigger than 20 big blinds. i figured out i make small mistakes and made a few big mistakhowever i got crippled by bad beats.. i have all my mistakes and bad beats in a spreadsheet/ together its adds up to 1200 dollars and most come from bad beats,,, i tilted twice, which involved agression factoe 99 when i got sucked out on big time but he other 400 ware smaller mistakes..

I NEED A COACH.. i know i can beat 25nl for 4 BB/100 but recenly it all went to shite.. so for anyone who will give me coachng (i will pay up, or else strike a future profit deal, please PM me!, I am 29 and serious , currently in melbourne but will spend a month in bangkok playing 2400 hands a days,. I plan on going to new zealand first for 3 weeks bu t if i get some coaching i will give it all up..

desperate plea!!

lost 4 buyins today.. i just played shite again.. made two plays in reraised pots and was owned. .also called two river bets where i knew i was behind.. pure and utter shite.. anyway i noted my mistakes and at least i feel like going again.. also again today in this session my biggest win was 13 bucks.. i can only see this micro levels getting harder with all these trainign sites.. luckily i had a good day with my horse racing selections yesterday. i had a 17/1 and an 8/1 winner and a few losers as well but ended 14 points up on the day. i basically chickened out on the 8/1 as i thought the change in ground would hinder him so i only played half stakes, so only made 3 points from that instead of 7.. sorry i didnt post them yesterday but i left it late to analyse and produce my ratings that it was nearly off time when i had them completed..

i am coming down with a sore throat and feels like a chest infection.. not good news espically when im supposed to go sea fishing on saturday in melbourne and its my birthday weekend.. its the cold weather here in the melbourne that is to blame..

last night i made 2 points profit from the horseracing. i have gone over my results for the past 5 days and have spotted a pattern in my ratings that are pretty obvious. basically telling me to avoid races where the top 6 in the market are rated close together. So when i analysed the races where the ratings werent so close together my strike rate was 13/17 for a return of 26 points. damn good if i do say so myself.

anyways, i played 400 hands of poker today and finished about breakeven. i made 2 mistakes which costed me buyin in total.. i finally got a hand history thing working

the villian was a huge donk i realised soon after but i hadnt any stats on him yet. when he called a raise in the BB. J8o was the last thing i put him on, and he's strenght shown on the flop represented a two pair at best.. anyway i should have folded. i didnt have anystats at the time so therefore fold to aggression.. 40 hands later i would have however still pushed in this spot as i saw him go all in with a pair of 44 on a KQX flop and he won.

here is a terrible mind lapsing play. this i think was a pretty ok player. basically should have folded on flop after being reraised. this hand was dominated.. terrible play by me..

other than that i played fine. i had no big winning hands, only winning 10 bucks with AK.

the results from ayr the other day were ok. i took some nice odds on bijiou dan and made a small profit for the day. i also did some analysis of yesterdays racing but they didnt go to plan and i lost 2 points. the racing was at windsor and brighton which are grade 3 race courses so dont attract the best quality horses.. today is worse.. i dont do all weather racing as i just cant find an edge in it, so only one day meeting in Pontefract. this is anotherr lowly graded race track.. only three handicaps to look at..

the 3.30 i have Barraland clear on 51 points and le troradour and beat the bell tied on 32. Barraland looks like a pattern horse and seems to have all the condition sin his favour.. i will be holding off betting until the race time when i find out for sure what the going is. if it changes to soft then i will have to redo the ratings,

the 4.00 is a tough class 3 race. i have 5 horses within 12 points of each other and two tied top, John keats and Mr Wolf, with Wyatt Earp third. i might not back any here but instead do a three way exacta to keep me interested.

the 5.00 looks like a brutal race and my top rated who i like has a bad draw which i dont like! Holiday cocktail and dan tucker are my top two . not sure if i will play these. i might wait for market movements before playong these.

Poker has been going crap for me . i remeber saying lately how i dont tilt anymore. well i just burnt 200 dollars tilty in 2 of my last three sessioons,. today i played well but broke even and i feel i am back on track mental wise.. im am also going back to 25 nl till i get back my 200 i lost as punishment..

by the way a big shout out to Marty Smith for winning the 10000 PLO WSOP event.. nice to see an Irish win. he has had a great 2 years, winning the irish poker open for 1.2 million euros, the ladbrokes event for a big score and now this as well..
