Hi guys, not sure if anyone will read this but oh well.

So I recently lost my job as a trainee accountant and started to play a lot more poker whilst looking 4 another job. Iv always mainly played tourneys as I was always looking for that 1 big win. Id had several $3k+ wins but nothing huge. But since joining CR a couple of months ago I thought Id give cash games a real go.I started playing NL100 even though I was major under-rolled ($400), but as it was just more for fun I wasn't too bothered if i bust it. But having watched countless vids I knew my game was good enough for me to be a winner. Within 3 days Id played 1.5k hands and was up $1100.

Iv been playing for 3wks now and am averaging 12.18 BB/100 at a rate of $63.9/hr. its only over 13k hands but I feel I have a massive edge at these stakes. Iv stopped looking for a new job and plan to re-evaluate the situation once I completed 30k hands. I know you should have a bigger roll, and more hands to justify becoming a 'pro' but with my circumstances I dont feel I have anything to lose. My wages as a trainee were pathetic, and I ddnt really enjoy it. Unfortunately as poker is my only source of income Iv been taking out a lot of my winnings so its hard to build my roll up. Also Im off to Egypt soon so have needed a few accessories for that, included replacing my passport which I lost . Iv also had to pay for ticket and accommodation the FA Cup semi-final when the mighty Pompey play West Brom. On the plus side, I live with my parents, pay minimal rent and have very little outgoings. I plan to sell my car as this is a huge expenses due to my insurance as I'm only 20, and 2b honest I dont really need it now. I plan to try and live on $250 a wk which should be doable short-term. I do have a little bit of debt which I will try to pay off asap. I really want to be debt free and if I can really make this my profession long-term Id love to just travel the world playing poker. Iv had this dream of sitting in a bar looking at Sydney Harbour whilst playing poker on my laptop.

I haven't played as much as Iv wanted due to the holidays and various other prior commitments but now plan to be playing at least 4hrs a day. I know alot of ppl play more, but I struggle to play more than 1.5hr sessions. I have Attention deficit disorder (ADD) and my concentration disappears. In between sessions I usually watch a film that iv downloaded or do some errands. Also Iv been building myself up from 2 tables to 4. I know a lot of ppl play more but i think its something u need to practice to do it optimally. I v also switched from stars to FT as I prefer pot size raises pre-flop. I know a lot of ppl play 10k+ hands a wk, but I dont think Ill be achieving that. I'm aiming for 10k b4 13th April, which is when I'm off to Egypt. Although Iv been playing NL100 under-rolled, I will be disciplined in my BR management in future. I wont move up till I have 25BI's, and will move back down if I drop below 20.

Id like to thank any1 for reading and would love to chat to anyone in a similar position about general poker stuff.

Also good luck to the blues on Saturday, Play up Pompey !!
