The issue of moving abroad to play poker has been on my mind for probably almost 2 years now. For a bunch of reasons I decided to stay in the UK, though now the time has come that I am finally upping it and leaving for a Poker House in Phuket, Thailand.

The final thing that swung it for me was a) its terrible weather here in the UK for the next few months whilst in Phuket it is hot/dry season, b) I found a sick house via 2p2 which I will post pics of once I'm there (it has pool/ rooftop terrace/ sea views/ maid service etc), and c) my other option is to start a business/ career which will give me zero free time so if I don't go I will be giving up the opportunity forever pretty much.

I will be flying on Saturday 14th January from London to Kuala Lumpur via Abu Dhabi on Ethiad Air which I'm really looking forward to actually as it looks like quite a sick airline and abu dhabi airport should be pretty awesome. Then catching a connection at KL to phuket. I think total time is going to be almost 24 hours which is pretty insane but nothing can be done about it.

I am going to post various pics/ reports of activities out there - I have already been added to the facebook group and the community seems awesome with lots of boat trips/ snorkelling/ sports/ drinking going on so it should be amazing.

I'm guessing there is quite a lot of people who have considered moving abroad but haven't for whatever reason, so hopefully I can make this blog interesting :) only thing is I'm a huge fish at posting pics and IDK why but it always comes up with a little red cross whenever I try to post a pic :(
