Everything is on the up and up... I am still grinding out 100 plo hu for a very nice profit. I am up 350 today and around 2400 in the last 5 days.. I am already overolled for 1/2 so I will prob be playing that limit in the next week or so. One thing i need work on is my ability to actually grind for more than an hour at a time. I usually either get tired or bored and end up quiting mid session. I dont have school tomorrow, I am going to grind a bunch of hands

I dont have school on fridays, therefore I can grind all day long. I put in around 4 hours today at 100nl plo hu which resulted in massive profits. What a day it was, I made roughly 1100. I locked up some pretty fishes today, I owned one for 2 buyins and another for 4 buy ins. I feel like my plo game is improving at a rapid pace. Pretty stoked.....

After crushing 100 nl for around 6 K over 18,000 hands with a 17ptbb/100 hands, I have decided to make the transition from hunl to huplo. The reason for the change is because the 200nl games are full of regs and im not looking to grind anything out for a long term. I have the drive to tear through limits by dedicating my spare time to learning the game with the eventual hopes of prosperity. I dont have a plo tracker but today I made around 300 while playing 50nl. My goal is to grind 50nl for the next week or so until I have a good grasp of the variance and hand values.

I decided to take a shot at 100nl and it turned out pretty well. I made 6.5 buyins in about 500 hands. However, after talking to some higher stakes hu regs, I think im still going to grind at some more hands of 50nl until i have around 35 buyins for 100nl.

I started grinding 50nl hu around 12 days ago and it has been going well. I have put in around 6000 hands and have shown profits of $929. I have no doubt that I am better than most of the regs and cannot wait to move up to 100nl. Social life wise, I had a crazy halloween which consisted of 4 days of reckless drinking..I cant wait to take a break over the next week and just chill out.

Here is 50nl so far..

After grinding the roll up to around 1200, I decided to make move into cash games. For the most part I feel that it has been going well. In particular, I have been dominating over players that are only playing 1 table or buying in shortstacked. Meanwhile, when I try to mix it up with a regulars, I feel like they are taking advantage of some of my leaks, obvs I will to work on my leaks and then begin improve hustling them. I only have played 3000 hands , mainy because the boys have been aggressively drinking over the past few days. Halloween is the one of the biggest party weeks at my school. So I will have to find some solid times to grind in the am.

First off, im a third year student studying history and Commerce at Uvic. I live in a house with 4 of my buddies and we like to fuck around.

My goal for the next month is to become a solid hu nl poker player. I have been playing poker for the last couple years,however ,I have never taken the game very seriously. I have always had a interest in heads up and its been my most profitable game. Unfortunately, I always seem to give away my roll playing ring games and tournies etc..Before I came to school in Sept, I cashed out my roll and thought I was going to take a break from poker for awhile. Instead of studying, I had my friend send me $6 on ftp and the grind began. At first I had no bankroll management (played 10 $6 hu sngs in a row and won them all). As a result, I continued playing $6 until i had 25 buyins then i moved to $11 till I had another 25 buyins, $22 fallowed and now I am currently at $33 with a bankroll of $900 and $100 waiting for my in rb. The result of this upswing was as fallows: watched a ton of cardrunners video, good bankroll management, I rarely tilt, and I no longer care about money, but rather how I play.

My goal for the next couple days is to keep grinding $33 hu and consider the move to 25.50 hu wants I have $1250
