So here it is! My personal place too bitch about anything and everything enjoy. I guess I will start this off with some of my recent and some past poker blunders. My poker life began about 8 years ago with a 24 pack, a couple bowls being passed around and two of my better friends showing me how to play nl holdem. Before that day I knew nothing about poker or cards in general. But after that day my life has been different I would say. Within a few weeks I was playing online on party poker and almost immediately I had success. Within the next couple years I built up a nice bankroll just from playing cash games 1/2 2/4 etc... When they shut down Party Poker for good for US players I stopped playing online and cashed out about 8k. I came back in 09 and since then I've been pretty much broke and just feel eternally doomed when playing online, especially Full Tilt. I love mtt's and I totally understand the variance in then, but it almost seems like half the players that make these final tables draw out on some huge hands over someone for a pot that could decide the chip leader right around the money bubble. These players are good no question, but it really seems to happen more than you would expect. That's enough moaning about that. Here are some results in 2010 I've had. I really only played april and may of 2010 and have played roughly 72 mtt's. My cashes are probably around 1500, but doesn't count for buyins. So I really feel I've made nothing. I've made it deep in quite a few of these tourneys but always busting around the bubble with usually the best hand preflop. I used to play live a lot, and go up to Atlantic City and play since I live in VA but haven't since I was 21 (25 now). First time in AC I see no other then Allen Iverson and his entourage at the blackjack tables. I think he has been banned from a few casino's in AC since. I honestly would love to goto AC or Vegas i the near future but don't have the money and I got a job and bills to pay for my crappy basement apartment.

My most recent live game was last night at a bar where in the beginning of the month they held a freeroll and if you make the final two you get into an end of the month game where all the winners play for a top prize of 1000 bucks. Top 3 pay out. Needless to say game starts at 7 and by 930 I manage to get to the final table. I think the game started with 5 full tables so about 40-45 people which was nice. Final tables blinds were monstrous I had about 45k in chips and it started at 5/10k blinds. I manage to double up after two players bust out with a flush I hit on the river and now have about 80k in chips. Blinds raised to 10/20k with the chip leader with maybe 160k in chips and everyone else below 80k. 5 people left and I'm 2nd in chips. The next 3 hands all three short stacks go all in against the chip leader, 1 in each hand and all double up coming from behind with some garbage to win. Next hand I get 1010 end of calling an allin and losing to an A 9. Ace flops I'm crippled with 20k left and next hand I'm utg and just push all in blind and of couse I lose and finish in 5th out of the money. I guess there is no love for this degenerate at all. I spend the rest of night getting blitzed and waking upto my phone ringing telling me I owe an insurance company usaa from back in 2005 450 bucks. WTF? fuck off I have a hangover, don't you understand? After all this talking I still love the game and will probably never stop playing as long as I can still physically see my hole cards. Now it's time to put on my shitty uniform and get ready for work until 1 am and then do it again tomorrow and then tomorrow. Fuck Yeah brother! FML The one the only highanddry84.
