Leading the pool with a 17-7-1 record this year.
Taking all underdogs this week:
Carolina +1.5 over Tampa: Carolina is playing really well this year and the road team has dominated in this series winning 7 of the last 10.
Atlanta +2.5 over Chicago: I've done well with Atlanta this year and they have been great at home winning two blowouts. With a rookie QB, they haven't gotten the respect yet from the linesmakers but I expect them to win this game outright.
Jacksonville +3.5 over Denver: Denver is 3-0 at home with a 1 point win, a 2point win, and a 3point win. I'm getting 3.5 points so I should be golden! With Denver's defense (or lack thereof), I look for spots to get points against them and this is one of those spots.
Arizona +5 over Dallas: Dallas is simply overrated imo and their line is always inflated. Arizona has been solid at home this year and the home team is 5-2 ATS in this series. Add the distractions that Dallas has with PacMan and I think this is a solid pick.
Cleveland +9 over NY Giants: Giants are simply laying too many points on the road, in a Monday Night game. Cleveland might not be that good but there is no way they can't cover 9 here.
With respect to poker, I played 53 HU matches the other night and won $31 LOL. I'm at 10.4%ROI in October so far and have grown the BR from $668 to $1,091 so I guess that is good.
Looks like Obama is going to be the next President which is good since I will win $100 from my bet several months ago. I'm not happy our government did the bailout and can't believe the gov't is going to take equity positions in banks, etc. I don't think it is good that the gov't is getting so involved in the private sector as this doesn't sound like capitalism to me. Perhaps the United States should re-name itself the United Socialist Republic of America or something like that. Anyway, hope our country can get some good news soon as I've lost about $35K so far in the markets which is not too good.
GL you all!
Edit: Took the Phillies tonight at -137, Hamels is a stud.
