tourney started with ony 150 players so I thought I liked my chances with a small field. Cruising threw the first half of tourney with no problems in the top 5 for chips. top 16 get paid after an hour finally make the money when a key hand came up that made me sick. Im second in chips with a 234 (4) door card, bring in for 250. chip leader on left of me with ace showing makes it 1000 to go. should have folded but thought this was to strong versus maybe just trying to steal which he was doing quite regular. so I call. Bingo 5 card for me and 2 for him. He bets again 1000, I call. A 2 for me and a 7 for him, i check thinking boy now I can get some chips from him, he checks. I get a 6 as does he. He fires 2000 into the pot i raise he calls. 8 next card Ibet he calls. last card down 8. I bet he raises I sat there thinking this is a monster in high low but dont want to risk more chips now that im down to less than 10,000. I call, he has AA 245678. scoops huge pot. Dammit i ended up in fourth but that sure killed me. Fun tourney anyways.
