So friday, me and my dad took the car & trailer over to the coast to race at Somoa Race track (which is the oldest active track in CA). The drive over was horrible as the fires were raging right next to us. It got so bad we couldn't see 50 ft in front and soot and ash was everywhere....we eventually made it to the ocean and the track and dropped off the car/trailer and checked in to the hotel. Saturday was a gambler bracket race with about 14 cars and I took it down. After racing we went over to my friends house and had a barbaque and some breski's. Sunday was the points race for my class, and we had 16 cars show up and I ended up making the finals and losing once again to Big Glenn.....lots of fun and the track was really cool with fog in the morning and nice cool temps. We loaded up and got my checks and found out the road back was closed and we then drove a couple extra hours down and around to HWY 20 and finally got back home late last night. With another final, I think I am #2 in the nation in my class and might be able to stay there with another final or win....Glenn is tough and has #1 locked up. But pretty much tired and sore and hating work as of now 8-( But its all good as I got a week off coming up and I got my suite booked in Tahoe so woooooooooooooooooooooooot. My goal this week is sattelite in to the sunday mill on Stars and veg/degen it up in Tahoe. Room service rules!!!

I haven't been playing too much, but I did get 27th out of 1000+ in a $10+1 5min NL MTT for about $55 (1st was $2600). And I cashed in the $10+1 10 min level monday night. I also did a couple 45 man SnG's and busted short in those and played some PL omaha and limit omaha 8/b. I wish I had more time for playing, and when my vacation time comes up, I think I will take a couple days just to play online and veg out. I am going drag racing this weekend, and hopefully make the finals again 8-)

What can you do....After that, I did the $10+1 A & B Tourny on Full Tilt and got pretty deep again only to not cash. I then did the $24+2 PL O 8/b and get fairly deep again then got tired and just started gambling. I am going to try and do a few satt's to the Sunday Million and FT's big sunday too, as its a 3 day weekend. My birthday is wed. but my grandma just pasted, and I canceled all festivities as that is her funeral....kindda wierd, she was born 92 years ago and has her funeral on my birthday. We will miss u TJ!!! RIP.

Still not alot happening in the poker world for me...I did watch The Stu Unger Story:High Roller movie yesterday and WTF??? It was really weak. I mean you have Vince Van Patten looking like he just walked out of a 2001 golf course with current hair cut and shirt, no coke nose surgery, no one looked like they were in the 70's, and most of the storyline was chopped up, the book was much better. But mostly been just relaxing and recharging. I am getting the poker bug bad again, so I will be playing more this week. GLA!!!

Not to much happening on the poker front. I did a $3 rebuy on Star this weekend and go into the money, then lost QQ vs AK aipf, and was out. I have been busy, as I did work all weekend and back to work this week....Tonight I am going to a golf tourny, then maybe to the casino and this weekend maybe try to get a home game going, but not to much happening.

Well last week I went up to Redding to do some drag racing and this time my dad had his car all ready to rock. He's got a 64 Valiant that is all tricked out (like mine) and he spent all week getting it fine tuned for the maiden voyage. We got there early saturday and did a couple test and tunes, then started the gamblers bracket with about 13 cars. In the end, it was me vs. pop's and I freaking red lit and gave him the race for his first win in his new car....The next day, during test and tune, he forgot to turn on his water pump and after the race was running really hot and then the oil pressure dropped and he shut it down. It turned out he fried a crank bearing and will have to go threw the whole engine again....so he was out for the points race. Then my unlce's car broke (couldn't get into gear....some valve body problem in trany) and he was out. So we had 15 cars for the sunday race. In the end, I made the finals again, and raced Mr Terry again and lost (he is good). It was very close (.02 difference) and I am happy as I am ranked #2 in the nation I think now....woooot. Also, the car ran good and with a tail wind, I ran my fastest at 12.42 @ 107mph...not to bad for a slant 6.

As far as poker, I tried to play a couple MTT's on Full Tilt when I got back sunday night, but about half way through I started falling asleep and just shoved to get out and crash.....bahhhhhhhh, my bad. I did play some micro PLO and lost a $25 buy in when I flopped mid set and got called by top set, then made about $15 back the next night, nothing special. I really want to hit Vegas up for the WSOP, but no dice again this year. I am going to do a antique show this weekend to make some extra $$$$$$, and this is the RAZZ week so bahhhhhhhh. One of these years I will clear a week for it, just gotta be patient. gla and make money!!!!

Well last week we got the car loaded up and drove up to Medford,OR for some drag racing.....We got there friday afternoon and got tech'd and did a couple test and tune runs, then busted a lifter. The good thing was the friday night races got rained out and I didn't miss any action. Saturday, the old man got the car back in shape after a tap of the lifter guide and re sat it. The car was ran a 12.67, a 12.68 and a 12.64 so it was back in business, but the rain came again and we went back to the hotel.....While there, I did the $39+3 Moneymaker Team sat and ran a flopped 2 pair against a flush draw and he hit it on river. Then I donked up the $10 rebuy when a guy called a 3K raise at 200/400 with K6 sooooted against my 99, and hit a KK8 flop...i pushed and he called. gg me. Sunday, I made the finals of the Slant 6 races, only to lose to Big Glen....he is good. Then we loaded up and drove back home getting in about 11pm and am back at work today.

I did a couple step tournys and didnt get far....But I have learned a couple new tricks. Off to drag race again this weekend in Redding,CA. Woot. GLA!!!!

I was a lil pissy last post......sorry. Its been a tough couple days for me....Anyway, last night I did the $10+1 10 min. level MTT on Stars again. I was just going for the win, AND playing Guitar Hero 3 while playing. It was kindda fun, fold and hit pause button to rock out. I honestly was pretty drunk and not paying attention to the MTT to much, but it was really fun. Fold, then rock out for a bit....I misssed a few hands (nothing goot thankfully) but made it pretty deep and turned out to be bubble boy. There was 1000+ peeps, and I went out in 100th place, with 99 paid.....I could of limped into the $$$$, but got Ks Js in hijack, and pushed into A8 offsuit and lost a 10K pot to get bubble time. I totally wanted to make the $$$$, but I wanted deep $$$$ more. What can you do....With the 3 day weekend coming up, I might buy into a big MTT if I get time, so be warned donkeys!!! 8-)
