OK, maybe I threw Iverson in there to be controversal. But I think it helps illustrate that Lebron really isn't in the same class as mike or kobe.
Michael is a class to himself. Undisputed. If you never had the chance to see him live though, its unfortunate, and you don't even know how good he was. (Compare it to watching a hockey game on tv. The experience just doesn't translate well, you get an idea but there's too much you miss.)
Here's a test for those who remember. Think of the times you've seen him play and how you watched the game. Did you follow the ball or did you watch him most of the time instead? Now try that next time you go see LeBron and see if you don't get bored.
Iverson is the only other player in the NBA that played with as much intensity. He could play completely out of his mind pushing his body well beyond what anyone else was doing (like Mike and Kobe, a gear beyond what LeBron usually brings.)
Nobody compares Iverson to Jordan.
Too many fatal flaws.
LeBron has the same flaws but with less desire.
I grant that he doesn't have a decent coach. But he crumbled to pressure last post season.
This year he's starting to choke before the playoffs even begin.
How in the world do you sit out against Chicago? If he was seriously hurt I apologize. But if that is the case its a mute point and Cleveland's season is over anyway. Chris Bosh just broke his face. If you want rest, King Lazyass do it after an easy quick 4 vs. Toronto.
Remember the 1st round last year? King dumdum. Cleveland almost lost to Atlanta, and while Boston won-chicago did beat them half to death for it.
Maybe Chicago doesn't make the playoffs and he gets an easy 1st round anyway. But thats something LeBron should have controlled himself.
To say we've already clinched and have nothing to play for vs. Chicago was a mistake. In fact
it was a huge, fat, bonehead, stupid, move. You cannot make a decision like that and then go on to win a championship. No ring for LeBron this year. He just does not know enough about winning yet.
