Hey guys!

So I arrived in Vegas yesterday afternoon. We are in our house which is off the strip on Rainbow Blvd. It seems really nice, smaller than last year but still very baller! All the roommates are here and I'm super stoked for this summer.

Tomorrow I'm playing in the 1k World Series of Poker Event at the Rio. I really wanted to play today so that I could still play the Sundays but they were sold out so Sunday it is. Even if I get knocked out of this event I will probably save money by playing this instead of the Sunday tournaments sadly. But yeah I'm stoked, all I hope for is that I play well and don't spew off a bunch of chips! I want to make sure I take time and think through every decision fully before making it. The field is supposedly super soft so it should make for really good practice.

After this World Series event I probably won't play another one until the ladies event on June 7th (my birthday!). What a great birthday present that will be!! Between tomorrow and the 7th though I will be playing as many of the deepstacked or Mega-stacked tournaments at the Venetian and Ceasars as I can. Those tournaments are just such good practice for the World Series Events and I can use all the live practice that I can get. This year I'm going to try to be much more focused and hopefully playing tournaments close to everyday! My live tournament game is going to dominate by the end of this that is for sure.

Anyhow I'm off to go get breakfast/lunch and then to the grocery store to get settled a little here. We are probably going to watch the basketball game, Melting Pot for dinner and then maybe some bowling after that. Low-key though is the mood for tonight since almost everyone in my house is playing tomorrow! Hopefully I will have good things to say in the next entry....like me winning a bracelet! :)
