Had a rough last 2 sessions. I have been in alot of tough spots and I have been up against the TOP of villains range ALOT. There have also been some serious spew spots for me.

I have been playing better than I have in 4 months, but I got a little frusterated in the last 2 days so there are more crappy hands than there should be. Im also very irritated with myself for losing my cool.

Where do we start

1. http://weaktight.com/2784591 This villain was playing super agressively 31/24/5 over 30 hands. I think he is v-betting A8, A2, AJ, KT or sets with this sizing on this river. I discounted KT because im not sure he is c-betting the turn with it on this board. So I think my river c/r gets value from all of the other hands since his sizing is such that he is prob not folding anything. Im not even sure he is v-betting AK on this river.

what do you guys think?

2. http://weaktight.com/2784602 villain is playing 21/21 with a 20% 3bet, 50% 3bet vs steal, so standard i guess, I just want to get it in rather than playing JJ oop post-flop

5. http://weaktight.com/2784614 I have absolutely no reads on villain here, his 1st hand at the table. When he c/r flop I think he could have 8712318721 draws and then I have a great price to call the turn but looking at it now it seems pretty spewy. what do you guys think?

7. http://weaktight.com/2784630 Villain here is playing 13/11/2 with a 6 3bet. My thoughts at the time were that this is the perfect river to bluff, and he can rep AK pretty easily, but with a 6 3bet his range here is pretty wide. thoughts?

9. http://weaktight.com/2784643 another big fish here. This one has been shoving a TON, and he literally could have anything here. Standard lose flip.

10. http://weaktight.com/2784646 villain here is another HUGE fish, pretty standard I think turning a 2-outer, but vs a fishy passive player i should prob be folding 1-pair hands on the turn here

11. http://weaktight.com/2784648 villain here is pretty fishy so far playing 23/9/4 over 40 hands. Prob another case of where I should be folding 1-pair hands on the turn, but obv i spew off my chips.

13. http://weaktight.com/2784661 this is one im not sure about. villain is playing 61/18/3 and imo ALWAYS has a big pair here. Should I just be laying it down preflop? I flop the best possible flop for me so what do I do? I just decided he was NEVER folding and mucked my hand. Im still not sure what is the best line. help please

14. http://weaktight.com/2784671 villain here is a passive fish, so bummer flop is my fold ok or am i comitted?

15. http://weaktight.com/2784675 villain here is an uber nit playing 11/9/3 only 3-betting 1.2% so im happy with my fold here. right?

16. http://weaktight.com/2784678 another draw i flop where im lost. CO is am aggressive/spewy player playing 34/26/4 and BB is a fish playing 48/15. I raised the flop because I think i have alot of FE vs the aggro player, but when fish overcalls and aggro puts in a BIG 3bet i just muck. Should I just be callin goon the flop trying to realize all of my equity vs 2 fishy players? seems like the best line to me now.

I javent been around CR or poker tables in a week because I was in Denver for work and the hotel I stayed at had VERY unreliable intternbet access. I spent alot of time at the local starbucks talking to my family via video chat, but didnt get around to playing any poker.

The weather there was fantastic. Its was 80+ every day I was there, but unfortunately I was working almost the entire time so I only had 1 afternoon the entire trip to enjoy it. I went to the Rockies vs Giants game on Sun which was pretty cool. Matt Cain dominated the roclkies and didnt even allow a hit until the 8th inning. It would have been more fun if the Rockies had won but it was still a great experience being that we dont have anything like that in Anchorage.

I missed my family terrible while I was gone. I have a 20 month oild and that is the longest I have
ever been away from him :-(

Oh well, Im home now and I will prob get back on the poker tomorrow morning. Looks like I have a busy week of catching up here though so I may not play a whole lot.

hey guys,

I have been playing some 6max sessions over the last week or so and I have to say it feels pretty good. I have only been playing 4-6 tables at a time, but it has felt pretty good. I played 6max only until 2 years ago a friend turned me onto how soft the FR games were in comparison.

Seems like the opposite is tru now. The 6max tables I have played have been very soft although I am still getting comfortable there so I havent had any great results yet. Plus I havent played all that much. I have been keeping my sessions to 300 hands across 4 tables just until I get used to it again and so that I dont get frusterated with it.

I am going to be mroe active in the SS 6max forums and still in the FR forums so help me out if you dont mind :-)

My last 2 sessions have been pretty ugly. Seems like a million hands vs fish where turn or river improves me, but improves the fish more. Yuck, heres some examples

Oh and btw please let me know if I am spewing here

2. http://weaktight.com/2602661 I should have just called the river here... maybe shoving gets me value from KJ, AJ, but idk. What do you guys think. Villain is playing 32/11/6, with 100% bet river

3. http://weaktight.com/2602663 villain here is playing 13/3/1, I tanked thinking about folding on the river here. looking back its prob a fold, this villain just isnt that aggressive. I dont think he v-bets AQ here so his line didnt make any sense to me.

Meh, those are the main ones. There are some other standard suck-outs and coolers, but those were the weirdest hands I played.

FINALLY FTP put another PC in their points store. My gf's PC crapped out about 2 weeks ago and she cant really afford a new one. That said she LIVES on that thing for banking, friends, facebook, messengers, youtube, pictures, videos, etc etc etc. I ordered her the 195k point Hp laptop and now Im a hero.

Moves like this have always been +EV for my poker game and for my life in general. Its costing me $263 in RB for a ~$900 comp. Small price to pay for a happy partner :-)

Also I havequit playing rush poker for the month since the 1st 2 weeks of Aug all I played was rush and i had been running 17Bi below EV in those games. I am going to stick to 100nl FR ONLY until the end of the month and re-evaluate my game at the end. So far so good, but I am running 2BI below EV in those games too.

I am much more comfortable in the reglar FR games than the rush they just really arent as convenient. All of the sudden I have to pay attention to tables breaking, fish leaving, aggr regs to my left, getting on waiting lists, switching to better tables, etc etc. Its kind of a pain in the ass since I have played mostly rush for the last month or so. It was so nice playing rush when even if I only have 15 min I can insta sit and grind 300 hands and quit when I want.

hey guys,

I took a few days off from poker and felt pretty good so I decided to play back in my old regular games, the 100nl FR tables. It has been alot more fun even though I am STILL running really really bad.

I have played 2k hands or so in the last 3 days and have NOT tilted or spewed off any chips! I think I may have missed one river value bet, but I think it was pretty close. Im back to playin a 17/14 style, but I def have more work to do in my 3-bet pots. I need to 3bet more and I need to be more comfortable playing in 3bet pots, but opther than that my game feels good.

I played in the 1st round of the CR HU tourny but I lost to Balbomb in the 1st round. He beat me 2 games to one, and I got lucky to win the one i won. Oh well, hopefully he wins the whole thing now. I had never talked to him before and seems like a pretty cool guy.

Fantasy football is starting soon and Im undecided if I want to play in a CR league or not. Normally I just play in a family league and Im not sure I can handle 2 teams.

hey guys,

I havent played any poker in the last few days, but I have tried to be a little more active in the FR forums. I have tried to post a reply to most of the HHs just to make sur eIm not a moron. I have been running pretty badly this month and it has made me play pretty badly. I dont play enough to get to the 'long term' fast enough any more so I think it shakes my confidence a little more easily.

I am going to move down stakes for the rest of the month and try to have fun playing poker again. This month has sucked for that :-)

I did happen to pick up a copy of NCAA football 2011 yesterday so I will be busy with that for the next long while Im sure. I also have a couple of books to read and am starting up fantasy football so I may not play too much poker in the near future. I will still be hangin around the CR forums though and I have a HU match vs Balbomb to take care of. Hopefully I can run good in that!

I have been struggling by just breaking even all month long, playing a mix of FR and rush FR 50-200nl. I watched the Citizenwind rush poker vids again and am inspired to simplify my game and get back after it.

I havent played much, but so far so good! I am confident again and cant wait to crush for the rest of the month.

Maybe ill throw up a before and after graph when i have a bit more time.

hey guys,

I just played a real session for the first time in a week or so. I ran well below EV getting sucked out on a couple times and losing a flip in a 3bet pot. I am very happy with my play, I played pretty aggressively and made the right plays all session in my opinion. It just sucks to have sessions like this when you dont put in alot of volume.



Im going to post a couple of hands in the forums, please come give me advice.
