on a little slidder!

things are not going great right now at the tables, if i have KK i get a call from A2 and the ace hits again, again, and again, it is getting silly! Bad beats, no cards, tilt and poor decisions are making this wonderful game very frustrating to play. Rakeback and bonuses have put money in my pocket, but without it I would be a slightly losing player over my last 100k hands. I have enrolled in an intensive training program and I hope it yeilds results, and I think it will if i put in the work!

Bad Beats!

Blog by : cbk1013

I am learning just how bad the cards can run between my live play where I win on a consistent basis 2-5 cash game 300 min buy in and online 50nl where I have proven to be a small winner over 80k hands with rakeback and bonus it has added up to over 2600 for the 2 months I have been playing. The run bads live have been real sick getting my money in as a heavy favorite and getting drawn out on time after time is getting depressing, if I was losing it would really be stinging, but I am still winning alot of money which eases the pain slightly. I can't wait to the cards turn in my favor, being patient and not tilting is hard to do, but it will pay off, I know it. My lessons with Brendan K. 5 to date have really helped my delevopment and I will continue to seek guidance as long as I play this game, due to the fact you can never stop improving. I cashed out 1k which was the sum of my lessons and loses before coaching, so I am basically freerolling as long as I do not go broke again, whick is a great feeling. I am anxious to move up to 100nl and have even won at a 10/ptbb winrate over a small sample size 3000 hands, but I think grinding and working on my game at 50nl is the best thing for me right now until I can double my bankroll of 1600 to 3200 and produce a solid winrate of 5-6 ptbb. I love this game! Running really bad right now and god awful bad live!

Fancy play syndrome!

Blog by : cbk1013

I had a case of the fancies right after I had a 20 buy in upswing at 50nl, that caused me to think I was better than I really am and I gradually started to call alot more in position and make moves that just were not paying off, I realized this and just about got back to my all time high of 1K in my bankroll. Rakeback is starting to add up and will put me within $700 of starting to take a shot at 100nl. I need to keep a bottle of anti-fancy play by my side when ever I go on a good run! When the fancies stay away I have a very high win percentage! Let the fish make the moves!

Little Comeback!

Blog by : cbk1013

I bounced back from my worst day ever and almost got my bankroll back up to 1k without rakeback included $961, adding in rake would put me over $1100 which is still $900 short before I give 100nl a crack! Playing 50nl right now but I have been buying in for $100 one of the nice things about Absolute! I hope playing deeper will improve my game, taking the advice from one of nutedawgs videos I just recently watched!Almost forgot, I went to Atlantic City at The Taj and won over $850 in cash and the best thing was that I got to watch Jennifer Aniston shoot her new movie Bounty with that dude from the movie 300 Butler or something like that, anyway, she was hot, I mean hot, I mean real hot! That is all, gl at the tables!

1k goal reached then disaster!

Blog by : cbk1013

I broke the 1K mark without rakeback 1,029.67. Then everything that could go wrong went wrong, to start off 2 major suckouts got me down 1 buy in, 2 buy in downswing since I was on my way to a winning session, then I get a set of queens timed out when I am about to stack some dude on the turn, minus1 buy in plus the money I lose from the win, then I bluff into somebody(minus 2 buy in) who hit his nut card on the river, would of worked if it hadn't come, and a few tilty plays and a worst ever 5 buy in losing session! :( sick! I am at 788 now, without rakeback which will take me close to 1k again, but damm bad night) need to regroup! Peace can't always post the best!

Blog by : cbk1013

Three weeks ago I got the last 10.98 cents out of my rakeback account and today my account is at $980.13 cents plus I have an additional $140 in rakeback putting me over the 1k mark. Position Position Position did i say Position! It really is starting to sink in! P.S. If your thinking of getting a coach I wouldn't get Brendan K, he really has not helped me much, I think I am just getting lucky! LOL
