went to AC for my 30th birthday had a good time me and my wife won about 2k she won most of it at the slots and i was $400 playing 1/2nl it was crazy how bad the play was almost as bad as 10nl just with more money. in one spot i picked up Kings in the cutoff with 2 lipers raised $25 and got called by the BB & both limpers, flop came Queen high i potted it and they all insta folded lol.

as for my FTP grinding i'm my to $183 after about half a month this includes my rackback from last month $30 & $30 i released from my bonus.

finaly got to see rake back since this is the first time i used it when i opened my new FT account. made $39 for Jan. in rakeback plus the $78 i'm up to right now, so $118 so far for the month of Jan. not bad since i havn't been playing much. really been just playing 2 tables from 10nl playing very tight around 17/8 just trying to make reads and smart plays i stoped c-beting as much at this lvl started working on my value betting & rereading the board after the turn.

well ihad to pull my money off bodog for family reasons glad I can make something steady to bad things don't stay steady in my life for my roll to grow. Anyway I was reading something about chris fergerson(?) building a roll from 0 to 10k well i'm giving something along these lines a short on FTP. I'm starting at 10nl with $48 I'll be sitting at them playing a tight short stack game sitting at about 4-5 tables with $5 and leaving the table with $8 or more. Aces kings & AK are auto pushes from any pos. At $200 i'll sit with max buying $375 moving to 25nl short stacked. Well move on when I get there.

for poker been hard lately as i started a new position at work so i had to go for training for a few days and now i'm doing 2 days of in house training. after its over i should have alot more time to play since it will keep me locked into a shift instead of me bouncing around like i have been.

as for the new year so far so good only played bodog about 3 days so far up about $32 bucks sitting at $792. havn't played another 50nl table yet as i havn't had time to sit and really play the game i like to played the 50nl when the babies sleeping so i can consentrate on the game the 25nl i just go throu the motions so i can play while shes running a muck.

my Full Tilt money is back at $50 i was down to $12 and played 6 SnG's since then cashing in 5 and winning 2 sitting at $51 right now lol sng's where my first love i crush the low wons pretty easy but now they bore the hell outta me so i don't know if i'm going to stick to them or not i really can't play the 10nl tables can't get my head into the game cause the monies so small and i play like a lagtard which is spew at this lvl. i might just play a few sngs a day so i don;t burn out and try to get to $250 so i can play 25nl with 10 buyins.

went very well sat at one 50nl with $30 ran it up to $87 in just over an hour also sat at 2 25nl tables and won about $5 off those as i was concentrating on the 50nl to see differences. i felt i played very well i was prety agg. in pos. didn't go crazy opp and felt i had a sold session.

great start to a new year so far lol.

finished Dec off strong for the amount i got to play near the end of the year havn't played in the new year yet on bodog but finished last night at $723 winning $359 for 26 days played in Dec. not the greatest but for the amount i play and only 3 tables of full ring 25nl i'm very happy slow and stead.

this last year i handled my first real downswing/breakeven variance and i made it throu without ruining my bankroll but doing something stupid that i have done in the past.

i put $50 on full tilt been messing around with 10nl FR up to $71 right now playing as many tables as leaves $10 in my account so i can play the CR MTT's and also leaving the table if i double or bust.

ex. with $50 i playd 4 tables, $70 i played 6 tables. ect... going to do this till i get to $250 or bust lol. then i'm moving to 25nl at 25nl i practice better bankroll management i'll stay there till $1200-$1500.

i got an ipod touch from my wife and i got a a spa package and my parents got us a new couch for the living room the baby got just about eveything :) and boat loads of cloths.

been running pretty good again after comming out of my 2 week funk up about $60 after xmas and i didn't play the 24th, 25th or 27th. Two more days left then i can post my win/losses for this month i really wish PT worked on bodog already i'd love to know my bb/100 rather then just jotting down my end BR for the night on a spread sheet every night.

well my end BR as of the 29th of dec. is $735 i don't know if i'm going to take a shot at $750 or $800 i'm leaning more towards $800 cause i'm being real nitty with my roll now cause i'm taking it alot more serious then i have many times before. My move up goal is $1200 and my fall back will be $950-$1000 depending on the downswing if its just coolers and sucks outs so be it, but if i'm not playing my A game or making stupid plays and finding leaks then i might drop back soon to sharpen up.

i will start playing a few $10 mtt's a day when i get to $1250 at least the 5k Guaranteed that runs twice a day. Anything nice won from those half will be pulled out to treat myself and my family. at $2250 i'll toss in a few $20 mtts and so on as the money grows. my main goal of this blog right now is still 3k so i'm not thinking past that. :)

as xmas rolls near i been running around like a chicken without a head trying to get everything done since where having xmas at my house this year. easier with the baby all her stuff is here.

finally started moving ahead in my bankroll goal at $664 after a week+ of going up and down between $580-$620 last 2 days the cards started falling in my favor again and i'm very proud of myself for one i didn't try to go over my head to catch up and i didn;t loosen up to try and play more pots to win more faster just stuck to my game and waited it out.

quick review of my goals for this up comming year

1.main goal be playing 100nl by this time next year on both bodog & star.(2-3k on bodog & no less then 3k on stars)

2.get to 2.4k on bodog and star pulling off a % monthly playing 50nl

3. buy a new TV, video camera & another monitor/or laptop

xmas about 5 days away i'm excited for my daughter this is like her first xmas last year she was only like 8 months. she so excited, we put our tree up last night now trying to keep her away from it lol.

7 days now i'm just starting to make little headway in my first real variance swing that i'm acually playing through instead of just moving to a higher limit to make up for my slow down over the last week or so. i'm proud of my self this has been great tilt control for me. usally i'm broke at this point cause i'll go sit at 100nl to make up for the $100+ i should be up over the last week or so.
