Understanding Omaha....Ask The Forums

0

Thank you forums. So let me explain. I had a nice loosing day, the first in a while. I decided to post some stats, along with questions on the norm of omaha in the forums. My question was what is considered avg for PFR%

so after 5000 hands, 700 villains, over 42,000 hands the avg PFR was 5.3% while the avg vpip was 35%
my avg pfr% was only 3.8 which while less than the avg but not by much. Needless to say the forums explained to me that I was way off-Mind you I have been winning for the month too. They also said my positional play was totally off, way off.

Changes made!
as of today only playing like 2 tables. Noting bad players at my table that I can take advantage of and believe me there are a ton of those to steal their buy ins. Taking total advantage of position, and preflop raising tripling (12%)
now I have to be really careful, as I've been known to go way overboard, so I must be mindful and keep a steady ship. Lets see if this makes a huge difference in my growth, if I can maintain this style of play. cya
