How it going guys. Finally back home, been working away for a few weeks and it's awsome. Luckily arrived in Woolongong only an hour from Sydney so i was definately keen for some live play as there is none in Cairns expect for a random live cash game. I was gunna hit the Star City but it was still a few hours on the train and I was unsure bout the dress code and didnt wanna risk it so i went out to Poker dome which for the non- Australians is a poker tournament centre only. Last time I went it was at a different location and pretty decent. This new location was hurstville and was pretty dead all sunday arvo. Managed to get a $50 full ring sng going and i finished second in a deal. I got the best of it in a 60-40 split instead of a 70-30 as my opponent was in a hurry to be somewhere else. He did have 40k to my 10k stack so I accepted. Then I finished 5th in the $40 bounty with 2 knockouts on the way.

So home is back online but ive just been playing low stakes cash for a while. 6max and hu just focusing on making really good decisions on every street.

here is stack my opponent early on. I had 3 bet an ace turn earlier as a bluff and thought he wouldnt give me credit again. I snapped called only really fearing a flush draw and was stoked to find out he was drawing to 4 outs.

I lose this pot, and opponent timed the flop bet and I just knew he had drawn out or had the a-clubs. spew. I like my limp which created the action. I never usually limp hu.

So the ftops started the other day. I have a bit of work on so I am only able to play the weekend events and given that im in australia the start times are also pretty brutal. i think the events i am playing are at 330am and 1030 am. Not starting until this weekend with event #18 through to sunday. I have been playing really solid plo lately but not many tournaments as I just dont have the time. Im hoping to do well but I will be pleased if i cash im such few events. Not much else going on in life. I had an olympic opening ceremony bbq at my place on friday. It was combined witha games night so we played rummi king, pictionary, scattergories, and nlh whilst we watched it on my plasma. Was really good fun but I was completely drunk before we even started the first game I think. Then chilled the rest of the weekend and i bought a new lawn mover and whippersnipper that has multple heads so I can change it to a blower, cahinsaw and a triblade for hedges. Gunna give it it's first run tommorow I think. It's pretty sweet. Anyways Ill blog when im sitting down for my first event. Good luck to all.

Long break since the last blog. Been working away for a while and I only got a few hours play in the last few months, (almost killed me). Anyways Im back and it was great (not) to start of with a nice downswing. NL games are so swingy. My plan was to come back and play mostly nlh and mix it up with a lot of limit games that I dont put much time into, thought now after a downswing, im pretty keen on playing more limit games like stud games and get a break from nlh. Ive had a mad razz session today playing 8-16 and 10-20, and playing really well for the most part but still learning. Gunna watch all jackal and spoons videos also for a bit of insight. I would definately wanna play more af a mixed game regulary but i think ill start each game individually until im playing them all around the same level. Blogging regulary and nore forum chat for me I think.

Its been ages since ive blogged. No real real reason why I just had a bit of a break and stepped down a level after it pretty decent downswing. Im on my way back which is great. Playing solid again. I think my downswing was partly cards and partly tilty play. Mostly playing 2-4 cap on full tilt cause its pretty fun and its strange how you adjust your betting and the way you play due to having a cap. Aaron Bartley has been frequenting both tables and hes phyco aggressive player and its been fun playing there with alot of the same regulars. Also been playing some of the tier sngs and 6k-28k guaranteed tournaments trying to take one down but as yet no joy. Have make some final tables but always seem to get there shorter stacked than I would like. Some 1 told me that the tournaments on stars are alot better structures and stacks so maybe i should start playing my tournaments there.

I cannot believe how crazy the game i played in today was. I was just feeling like a step up into the 2-4 and 3-6 stakes. My 1-2 has been going pretty well multi tabling two tables and getting quite a few hands in. I know i dont have the roll for this game yet so I jumped in the capped 2-4 and 3-6 game. The players were just crazy and reckless. I tripled up in like 40-60 hands. Im guessing its just because its the cap game cause ive watched 2-4 and 3-6 especially on cardrunners vids and the play is pretty solid for the most part. Anyways it was fun and i might frequent it a bit more until I can play NL 6max. Ive also played two FTOPS events now event 1 and 8. I havent cashed as yet. Im planning on playing the $200 6 max event on the weekend.

Hey, Im so tired at the moment, just metally drained from playing so much poker all week. But back to work today so perhaps some normality for a change. Finished It of yesterday by satelliting into ftops #1 through the 9 max sng that you start with (100) chips. you have to be so lucky with this one but i though why not cause i busted 4th in the 36 player sat for the same event. i picked up hands right from the start and by the time we had done one orbit there was like three of us left. There a bit stupid i think but hey I won it and played in the $215 nlh event. Im quite happy with the way i played and i busted with a king high flush to an ace high flush in 1550 place from 5300 or whatever crazy number it was.

Other tournaments I cashed 4 from 4 in the 6500k guaranteed 6max and full ring on ftp. Finished 5th 8th 10th and 25th. Out of fields over 200 so happy there but was really hunting a win on the 5th place finish till my AK lost to A9. Happy to get it in with the best of it.

Cash games are going alright. I usually only play single tables but i multied two yesterday and found i could concentrate enough to play well. Also go event #8 on monday my time and have to work still so i could get up and play the start of it but i do well I cant get of to finish. Real dilemma. Thinking maybe stake a decent tourney play or something???

Still loving the holiday. Playing poker pretty much all morning and then a session at night before i crash out. Playing 1-2 6 max and running pretty well I had 7 winning sessions in a row and that is still continuing and I won a satellite into ftops #8 which at the moment I am unable to play due to work commitments so I dont know what do about that at the moment. I was off work when i won it though.

Took just over a week of work and went over to perth for a holiday. Wicked to have a good break from work and poker as well. I played the day before I left and got slammed. I played a small sketchy session that I knew I didnt have the time to really get into. Ive really got to stop doing that cause it always leads to making bad decisions. My full house did run into a straight flush although and then i ran a bluff that I knew was going to get called. It left me thinking about that sessions for the first half of the week. So home now still on holidays and im going to play some of the FTOPS events so im going to spend the next few days playing some of the satellites for them. But i do want to put alot of hours into my 6 max game so ill divide up my time to do so.

After a rough week of poker playing mostly heads up I bounced back yesterday with a 2 1/2 BI win in 1-2, 6 max nlh. And this was inside of 100 Hands so it was pretty good for the confidence. Ive realized Im giving way to much credit for big hands to players in this game. But im just continuing for the fact that I need the bankroll for 2-4. Im not to sure how much to wait for. Im thinking around $5000- $8000. It does seem 2-4 is that step up into mid stakes and player quality.

I need info on poker tracker for the mixed HA holdem omaha game. Do u need the omaha version as well, and running at the same time, or will it just extract which ever tracker u have open????

I hadnt played a tournament in ages cause ive just been focusing on my cash games for the last few months. So for a bit of fun I played a $6 sng for a token into the $6500 guaranteed on ftp. Won that and after a few hours of solid play was in the top 20 with a medium stack from 324 starters. By the time we were down to 12 players i was 2nd in chips and my focus was just to make the final table cause the payout structure was harsh like most tournaments. $150 for tenth and $1950 for first. I was trully focussing and then i picked up kings, limped into the pot from first position ( to trap) and out of knowwhere SB is shoving 3/4 of my stack with AK suited. I insta call and he hits a river flush. So brutal. Im crippled and shove the next hand with KQ of and get called with 77 and of course no dice. Out in tenth in a heartbeat. So gutted. Im not feeling to bad now cause every situation that could have played out in that hand the result would have been the same.

So I made money on my investment which is nice but i was certainly the best player left and to go out like that stung.
