My plan

I'm not really sure what is going to happen with FTP and Stars, but I plan on playing on Merge soon if they continue to grow and I find out more about their trustworthiness/deposit methods/cashouts. I checked on there today and they had just under 10k people - and I checked out the games and it seemed as if they had a lot of different games going in small to medium stakes nlhe and plo.

In the meantime, while I'm waiting to see/hear more about Merge, I'll be grinding live. I'm going to start out with a week or two traveling to the 3 major casinos in my area, sampling different games and idenitfying which games will be most profitable.

I plan on playing 1/2 and 2/5 nlhe, as well as 5/10+ limit, and any PLO games that run. I'll keep track of my sessions and use results + feel to identify what game I'll focus on. After that, I'll try to get in 3 or 4 live sessions per week, putting in a solid 8-12 hours per session.

As for my progress, I hope to update this blog almost daily with my results/bankroll/etc. Not doing this because I think people will read it, or care, but I think it will keep me focused on the grind.

Hopefully within two weeks I will decide on an online venue, and I'll be able to mix online play with live play. As of right now I think Merge is the way to go, and if any of you have any ideas/comments on Merge please share.
