Poker Backgroung

Hello everyone,
My name is Mitaka and I am from Bulgaria, small country in Eastern Europe. I found poker 2 years ago while surfing the net. And really got it to the game when I was in the USA. I spent the summer in San Diego and started playing poker tournaments in Viejas Casino in the SD area. When I got back I opened account in FT and deposited my first 100$, I had no idea how to play the game, and I got busto. I stopped playing for a while, just some freerolls from time to time and one day I won UB freeroll and got 250$ in my account, I put the money in FT and started playing but my progress was very slow. I am a marginal winner about 2BB/100 for 160 000 hands. So now I decided to start paying attention to my game and try to improve and start living on poker..
So I'll use this blog to post my progress and keep myself motivate. I will give myself baby goals... I will start with the first one in couple of days.

Tricks to keep me on track

I'm constantly getting distracted. Anything I start to do in my life I lose motivation about and never progress enough to feel satisfied and continue the activity. So now started this new strategy. I am setting Baby Goals for myself with 10 days time frame and strictly defined "to do" list for every day.

My first baby goal for poker:
Duration (10 days),
I will play 2 sesions a day, each one 45 minutes and post bigest hands in the forums and think about them

I will try to use this MindSet: All failure is feedback. Hopefully it will keep me from tilt :)

Today I did day one. 3 buy-ins down, I played bad, but learned from my mistekes.
Thinks I learned today.

1. Think about villain's range and your best action against it.
2. Poker is a longterm game.
3. If i save a stack than I won a stack. (Very difficult to think about it when behind.) <- for me personaly
4. Do not play if tired. Do you guys have some recomendations about keeping myself fresh and focused!

Tomorrow I'll try to play my best and think more:)
