USACOOP and canine surgery

0

first off i need to complain about these USACOOP events. the structures were way too slow. 95% of the people who played them agree; i've nevrer seen so many people complaining about the fact that they were still in a tournament with a 150k+ first prize. i skipped all of the weekday tournaments because i didn't want my next day to be totally ruined from 1-tabling a USACOOP for 7 hours and mincashing.

i played in yesterday's USACOOP 2 day main event that started with 20k chips at 25/50 and 30 minute levels. i really should have late-registered 2 hours into the tournament. i remember one hand where i flat-called an open with AA and it turned out the guy had KK with the board running out KT4QJ. i only won like a 2k pot. son of a...this would have never happened in a tournament with normal stacks!!! :P

anyway, i ended up busting out after over 13 hours at about 4:30 AM PACIFIC TIME. was about 45 minutes short of making day 2. i fell asleep in my computer chair twice. by the end of the tournament i was standing up at my computer just to stay awake. sorry stars, but thumbs down for USACOOP. would not play again.

in other news, my dog toby had 2 stones in his bladder. he had surgery on the day after thanksgiving. my older dog, jackie, also had surgery for a stone. i feel really bad because i am pretty sure that something i did caused this. maybe feeding them too many treats or raw hides. or maybe our water gave this to them. the vet asked us to get our water tested by the city but we're just going to fill their bowl from our water cooler just to be safe.

it's very sad to watch little tobers walk around the house with the big-ass cone around his neck. he tries to get it off all the time but he will never succeed. he's always crashing into things and sometimes he just sits there and whimpers. i'll try to take a picture of him before i take him in to get the stitches removed so you guys can say "awwwwwwww!!"

gonna get my grind on soon and try to win pokerstars TLB for december! that's it, blog ya later!
