Played 1k rebuy today. Had Mike Matusow at my table. He is fun to play with.

Had 8k after rebuy hour, chipped up to 16k with one showdown cause I play good.
Raise black JJ utg at 150/300 to 825 get flatted in 2 spots one by station donk and one flatter = Harry Demitriou.

Flop is J78ssc. I lead 1875 guy shoves I snap call my appx 13k more he has AcTc turn 4c river 9c and gg life.

Dan is still in with appx 35k at 200/400 last I heard. Please win.

So coleman won a fucking tournament, yay. He had a massive stack going into the final table of the venetian 1k, and i showed up with dave after busting in wsop event #3 (more on that later) to rail. They were five handed when we showed up, and coleman had a good stack. Chips got traded a while, then colemna proceeded to bust the table. With the aid of one suckout 77>88 aipf it gave him a stack big enough to run over the people who were left, who were very inferior skill wise and luckily the best player won. He shipped like 41k less the government witholding tax so like 30k cash money which is nice to get some money back in the degen-x house as Tim myself and Dan have been getting murdered in tournaments.

Anyways, played the pot limit hold em today. I grinded so hard never finding spots really. I started with John Duthie at my table and some other guy I have seen around who said he won the bellagio 1k the day prior. No hands really, John Duthie was constantly isoing for limpers in position and I 3 bet his button raise once with nothing at 25/50 and took down like a 500 chip pot yay me. Other hand of level 1 I have JJ, open get flatted by old man. Flop is KK8r and i check call. Turn is an ace and i check fold, about 92% sure he had a king here as I have yet to meet a live nit who will two barrel a draw or two barrel bluff. Either way. I then proceeded to pick up queens three times and all three times was flatted by the bb. Each time the board was AKx and each time I had to give up the hand losing varying amounts of money. I steal raise a few hands with reasonable opens at 50/100 before the break to get abck to 2975 after 2 hours.

75/150 and I build to like 4.5k then lose with JJ and AK in pots where I am outflopped and am back down to 3k. I grind my way through 100/200 literally, then have 2975 again 2 hours later at 150/300. This is where I got a sniff of hope at getting deep again. I open AQo for pot utg+1 7 handed and get repotted by some guy. Normally this is a turbo muck as live players never 3 bet light but I have put in 1/3 of my stack and go with it. He has kings. I suck out cause I am so good. 6k helloooo.

Table breaks and I get moved to a table with Roy Winston some scandanvian who had poker news like 3 deep railing him and thats about it. We are at the end fo 150/300 and there is a raise in lp and a flat and I find AQo on button and pot it both fold, helloo 12k stack. A few hands later utg old man limps and I look down at QQ, I make it 950 and then the scanner on button flats as does the bb, a decent player who was at my old table. Old man doesn't hesitate and instantly says pot. I tank muck queens but I think its pretty much a snap fold.

Anyways onto my bust hand. With like a 11k stack at 200/400 utg opens for pot or 1400. It folds to me and I repot with AKo for 2950 more. He flats. I have like 5.5k behind and don't plan to fold any flop as I am oop and have 3bet almost half my stack. I have decent equity vs his entire flatting range except aces or kings, but....he sets me in pre with those. Don't ask me how I know but live players cant slowplay. Anyways it is QTx and I shove with overs and gutterball for 10 outs but he snaps me off with..........................AQo nice flat pre die die die die die. I fail to improve and then me and Dave go to Venetian to rail coleman

We just chilled out and drank some and watched the stanley cup game, eff pittsburgh at the venetian. Brad cashed in the 500 today leaving Dan Tim and I as the only tits with no money made so far haha. We went home afterwards and just hung out reading live updates and blogs and drinking beers. We were all psyched to go out but burned out fast. Its strange how playing poker literally sucks the life out of you. I am mentally and physically exhuasted by the end of the day, as it is so soul draining to lose in a shitty pot then have to do the walk of shame out of the room, get a cab, find your freinds, sort out dinner, sort out cabs etc etc. Busting an online tournament you close your laptop and go hang out at home, which is all you really want to do when you bust in a tournament. The excitement of getting here and winning the first event is slowly fading and the reality of what a grind this month and a half will be is setting in for all of us (except coleman, imo).

Nobody is discouraged yet really, we all kid about how awful are bust hands are each day and for the most part they are, but oh well. The fields are pathetically soft and we are all huge favourites in every field we play here in vegas.

Tomorrow we are probably sleeping in and gona play the 1k at bellagio at 2. Wednesday we are debating the 2k WSOP event and thursday we are all playing 1500 6 max at wsop.

WSOP 1500 nl event, get in AA vs KJ on Kxx, lose. Have 450 left, go through blinds, shove A5o get flatted by t_sorprano, old man ships bb and we are hu, I beat his JJ to get back to 1100. Then lose QQ

1k today at venetian has amazing structure, at 200/400 I pot commit myself by raising a bet with a sd/fd and brick it for an early exit. Coleman is at ft tomorrow with 40k first and like 3rd in chips. After whiffing that I go to rio and register in the nightly 340. To kill time I play cash and get 900 fvrom my 500 without showdown then lose AJ

Play nightly. Chip up through first hour and get aggro when antes come in to get 8k stack. At 200/400 I finally get a hand and open kings for 1125, bb flats and leads for 3k I shove on 234 flop he snaps me off with 96o ( I amd ead serious) and I hold. I get no other hands to speak of but maintian an okay stack before losing 60/40to a shorty. Have 1100 at 600/1200 go through blinds have like 9k. goleafsgoeh is at my table and shoves into all of our small stacks and I somehow find JJ and hold vs his J4ss and some shortys 66 yay for that. goleafsgoeh is a really cool guy and has a massive stack and I hope he won. BUt anyways, I move tables and we literally play 5 hands in a 30 minute level when a guy tanks for 4 mins when the sb shoves for like 15k at 1k/2k and then folds 67o face up and says I guess you got me. DIEEEEE.

I get moved back to goleafsgoeh table and go through blinds etc and then shove J7ss on button with like 24k at 1500/3k and he found 88 in bb, gg me in 31st with 27 paying. Its at the point where I want to cash just out of spite because I feel like I am owed something. ANd I am. I am playing so well it actually impresses myself as I can see how much I have improved and advanced but I keep getting deep and not getting anything going. IT is incredibly frustrating. Anyways after that I played 2/5nl lost a buy in AA

Today we woke up to go play Venetian as mentioned. We played odds and evens to see who hadto stay behind for the cab that was supposedly coming, and Tim Coleman and I lost. We then proceeded to wait over an hour for a cab that didn't show. The tournament was 30 mins in by the time a cab finally showed up, but we went to play anyways.
They started us with 500 less chips 20 mins through the second 40 minute blind level, which still amounted to 9500 at 50/100 so whatever. By the time we gotthere Dan had already doubled up.

I am seated at Brad's table, and one guy has already amassed a 35k stack by making the nut flush twice and getting paid three streets by a set, so good for him. I play pretty normal hands til this one comes up. There is 2 limps to the button who makes it 400 (he is the black dude from 40 year old virgin fame, and has been on BET Black Poker open as well, which we all know is entertaining), and I look down at AcKc. I decide to flat this deep as it is my second orbit and I have no clue how anybody has been playing. The bb then flats and the initial limper moves all in for 3900 total. This guy had just played a 14k all in pot with Q9 vs K9 on 9xx board and chopped, so I can assume that he is a monkey. The button tank folds and I just ship to iso. The bb then freaks out and talks about what an awful spot he is in blah blah, I am praying for a call because I think he probably has like 77-TT but also more heavily toward AJ and AQ which I have dominated. He finally folds and says he layed down AKss which was kind of a surprise. Anyways utg monkey limp shoved T9o and I bink an A to get a 15k stack.

A few hands later utg+1 opens for 3x at 100/200 and I find AA and make it 1950 or something. He tanks and calls. I don't think he is capable of slow playing and immediately polarize him to like JJ or QQ. The board is Kxx and he checks. I lead for 3125 and he calls fairly fast. Turn is the glorious Ah putting back door hearts up but not of my concern at all. He checks again and I think about betting but check behind stciking with my read that he has QQ or JJ and wanting to let him bluff (somehow put me on TT or something haha). The river gets there with the 5h for back door hearts and he instantly bets 2500 with 2700 back. I think a bet and set him in and he insta folds QQ face up. Max value imo.

Nothing really happens for a while I hover between 20 and 25k card dead but maintaining by picking on live nits. Table breaks and I am moved to where the final table will be which is nice as I know I won't have to move again. I recognize some old man at the table from bellagio yesterday who is loud, rich, bad and probably the worst person to have at your table for how long every decision takes. My second orbut after the table, I open AQo from utg+1 and am flatted by him, he can have almost anything. It then folds to the man who I have identified as nitty (after seeing him fold AQo face up when he opened his sb and the bb shoved 14 bbs, lol), and he 3 bets half his stack to 5.5k. I think this is a fairly easy fold for me but still don't want to make it. I fold and old man shoves and says we are here to gamble. The guy calls obv and old man tables 7c8c and the other guy flips over 55, wow I suck. bink a 7 for a big pot thank god that old man has chips.

I am severely card dead this entire tournament since that AA hand with no big pairs to speak of, never better than A9o and have got most my chips by stealing from live nits. We are at 400/800 at this point and I still have 25k but anteas are now up to 100 so I decide to start opening very liberally with my tight image. I open my button both blinds flat, flop is K63r checks to me I bet my 34o get check raised by nitty woman I tank fold to make it look good say I am folding QQ she tables 66, obv. Next hand I open T9o in cut off get flatted by bb. Flop is Kxx, he c/r and shows me a set to one of the x cards. Good. I then pick up AQo, a real one after this and am flatted by the next big blind. Flop is Txx and he check raises me all in and shows ATo. Run hot much? I have now bled to about 17 bbs and we are up to 600/1200. I am not opening light anymore, and go a round or two with nothing. Now its time to shove. I shove over 2 opens with AQo and JTss and they insta fold (3 betting is always aces live). I now have about 24k at 800/1600 and open A9o on the button. This is still kind of a steal raise as I can fold if shoved on as nobody does it light at my table, and 6 bbs has the same fold equity as 10 bbs online because people arent smart. Anwyays the bb tank flats. weird, as we have similar stacks. The flop is T9xss and he shoves for 2x pot. I tank a while and call with second pair, he flips up Js8s and I fade mega draw for a nice stack. Fast forward to 1k/2k and I have 50k. folds to me on button, I have KJo get counst from the blinds and they both have 9 bbs appx, and shove. AA in the bb and I flop a pair on a 3heart board with Jh vs his black aces but he fades my 14 outs somehow and I am back down to 30k. Chip up by shoving over raises and have 44k when bust hand comes. Chip leader of table appx 180k opens in mp1 appx, and I shove 77 over his open. He tank calls me with ATo, probably a bad call but I guess somebody had to do something about my shoves. I flop an oesd, turn is a brick river is a T and lets go get dinner.

We grab a quick dinner at Venetian, check out all the girls as they walk by (this place is ridiculous), and then grab a cab. We stop at the grocery store and load up on fruit, cereal, gatorade, and some microwavable dinners and then Brad comes and grabs us. Fairly early night and now we are up and headed to play WSOP event#2 $1500.

We are calling a cab at 10:20 today hoping to get to the Rio for the start of the tournament haha, gl us.

Alright, so today we started off waking up wayyy to early cause everyone was still on East coast time. We has been up drinking til 2:30 the night before (5:30 by our body time) and everyone was pretty much passed out thankfully, as taking a cab down to the strip would have just ended in disaster.

Our house is a bit further away than I expected, but nothing we can't deal with. The house itself is ridiculously awesome, however has fallen victim to some interesting decorating ideas by our land lady who is allegedly Miss Cleo's long lost sister. The backyard pool/hot tub combo is sweet, nicely furnished, however the sleeping arrangements are pretty funny, as the rooms (aside from the master bedroom), all consist of 2 single beds, and I mean single.

Anyways, after an early wake up and some loitering, we decide to head to Rio to play the 550 mega sattelite to the main event to try and accumlate some lammers.

We show up, register and all of us are dying of starvation. However the poker kitchen is not yet open, and we wander aimlessly with 15 mins before the event begins trying to find something to eat. None of us have had a meal in over 24 hours and were starting to fade. There was a Pizza Hut stand which did the job to tide us over until we could find something better.

Anyways, the event began with 30 minute levels 4k starting stacks and the wsop accelerated blind structure that exists anyways, so this was going to be an accumlate or move on kind of tournament.

My table draw was great and full of bad players as expected, and one guy wearing a pokerstars t shirt, which you can usually assume is some guy who used his fpp's for clothes, however this guy kept loudly calling out pro's names who were in the field to talk to, and was overall trying to make it known that he was somebody I felt. He was a nice guy and all don't get me wrong, but he wanted us to know he was a pro.

Anyways, the usual crappy live play happens as I fold through the first orbit, then I play the only hand I think I screwed up yesterday, but the live nit syndrome scared me. There is 2 limps at 25/50, and I find JJ on the button and make it 250. This is called by the bb, and both limpers. The flop is 254r, and it is checked to me. I lead for 700 and am called in all 3 spots. Normally this is kind of scary, however only the sb had shown any shred of ability to this point. The two limpers, one had accumlated a stack by limp calling 82s 73s etc in the first orbit and beating top pair by check calling every street and getting there, so he is a mega station. The other guy was a similar spew monkey but had failed to come from behind like his counterpart. Anyways, the turn is a Q and once again it is checked to me. Normally anybody with a set here woudl bet, but remember this is live and people will slowplay to the death of themselves. I have just over a pot sized bet left here and debated a shove, but I found more merit in a show down line, as I considered myself way ahead/way behind, as these people can easily have any straight draw and pairs below mine still, but putting a set or two pair past them (or even a queen, cause honestly, who really knows?). The river is a deuce and it is checked to the station who proceeds to instantly lead for about half pot or 1600, which is also as mentioned half of my stack. I tanked for an extremely long time with JJ here, as its hard to find any reason to believe my hand isn't best, however as we have noted he is a station. Stations don't bet, they call. Unless they have missed a draw somehow, which is a possibility but still the lesser part of his range, so I thought. In hindsight without playing results my fold is just awful, and the sb showed up with TT to beat his 33. Killself. I then go card dead, fold through to 100/200 (ie 30 mins or like 18 hands gg live). It folds to me in the sb, I have AJo with about 2325 at 100/200 and shove into the old man who had already gotten AAx2 and KKx2 and sure enough he found QQ to bust me. Oh well, lets get to Bellagio for 500 at 2 pm.

Get to Bellagio and meet up with Tim and Dave and get in the "tournament," that ended up with about 30 runners. standard bad live players, and Paul Magriel is at my table. This guy is as weird as he seems on TV and now I know he isn't doing it for the cameras. He is a super spaz and may have something wrong with him (if so, I am an asshole and am sorry), but yeah. Anyways I chip up to about 4.5k with no real note worthy hands, just vbetting top pair etc. One pot I opened 97hh to 150 on the button and the sb made it 300. I called and called a 754r flop. Turn was a 9 and he checked I bet and he slammed AKo down face up and complained about his luck. Lol, imo. I play nothing noteworthy and chip up to just about 5.5k at 100/200 when the following happens. I open AKdd utg to 525, and am snap called by a short stack station on my left as he had been everyyytime. It is folded around to the sb who shoves for about 2700 total, and I over ship and then station calls. Hands are me AKdd, station JTcc and shover 66. The flop is AA9r and I am excited to ship a big pot and start to run over this table as 100/200a25 is coming up in 3 mins and these people will be doormats. However 6 dings the river and I am back to a 20bb nit stack.

I grind my stack finding good spots to open which I think are essentially risk free of being restolen cause live players are nitty, however I am kind of handicapped by having Tim and Dave to my direct left who both know what I am opening and what they can be shoving profitably with their 15-20 bb stacks. Tim eventually busts I forget how but I seem to remember somebody slowrolling AQ when he had KQ and it was the most stando super snap call. I then went on a quasi little heater opening and getting no action. I had KKx2 QQx2 AKx2. Never a caller. However the one time I was 3 bet by a fairly good internet kid I have QJo and have to lay it down. Showing down one or two of these big hands also allowed me to start opening pretty much everything with a card rack image to these people and I chipped up to 7k again.

The blinds go up to 200/400a25 and my stack becomes dwarfed again (they skipped 150/300). At this point we are on the final table bubble and I think back to my misfortune losing that race and how much I could abuse this as even though only 3 pay people still want to final table. Dave is on my left and has managed to chip up a good amount by waking up with big pairs in good spots and getting paid. I forget what happens but we break and end up 9 handed. Two people go broke in stando spots and I now have 5500 at 300/600 7 handed. utg+1 I shove 5500 and am isod, up against ATo but no problem queen ball gives me a stack. I start opening again with hands I am willing to call shoves with but get no action but chip up enough so i can start stealing again. 5 handed the short stack moves in for 4k I have JJ and call and he ended up with A2o, I hold and now have a stack to play with. We are now 4 handed me with about 12k Dave with a similar stack, and then one guy has managed to accumulate almost 50k probably by picking up Aces and getting it all in to bust people with AA.

Anyways, first hand I play 4 handed I 3 bet 40% of my stack with Kings (deceptive, I know) and he flats. Board is 843hh and I shove and he tank fold ATo thinking I was stealing, note worthy that he is gona be a station versus me so lets not 3 bet light. By this point the guy on my right is bleeding down to a short stack and I pick up tens versus big stack. I open for 1575 (stil at 300/600a50) and he flats. The board is 846 or something and he bets for like 1.2x pot into me. I just shove and he tank folds again. By this point I have about 25k in chips Dave has about 7k and the shorty has about 6k. I open QJcc utg and Dave shoves. I know he is probably not light but I am getting 2:1 and am not going to be soft playing friends cause that is cheap and call. He has Kings. fuck you dave. Now I have about 20k and I get the short stack all in in a 60/40 and he doubles. We play trading blinds I maintain short stack bleeds to big stack and then wins a flip to get a stack again. I bleed through my stack a bit and then the blinds go to 400/800. I now don't want to be opening as the big stack is very stationish and i can't play post flop. The last hand of 400/800 I have about 11k and shove KQo in my sb into dave. He snaps me off with A4hh and flops me no sweat with xxxhh board. Effffffff you. And I bubble. At this point I find out Dan had come 15th in the wsop main event qualifier with 12 seats and coleman has come 20th.

Dave ends up chopping hu for about 5k and the cash game donk has converted to tournaments.

The rest of the night we go to rio to register for day 1 a of the 1500 event and grab some dinner. We jump in a cab back to our house as we are allll just exhausted from the night before and crash.

It is now 9 am (I woke up at 8 because I am still on east coast time), and we are gona go for a quick run, jump in the hot tub and get to venetian for the 540 deep stack today.
