omg 4/8 wat

okay, i can't sleep because i'm so giddy. i was taking a shot in the 4/8 deep game with the gin seat on a pretty terrible fish; i start off playing ~6 tables of mostly 400nl and 600nl but after playing for ~3 hours i ended up game selecting down to two (one other excellent 400nl game). anyway, the game is 5 handed with macdaddy, pez, and hibachi, so it's a really tough table and i'm getting stomped by everyone. i lose a huge 5.5k pot where i make a hero call and i feel dumb, but i keep playing and eventually run up a 5.5k stack and i'm even for the day (still stuck 2.8k at 4/8 lol), and then this hand comes up. http://www.pokerhand.org/?3542819">http://www.pokerhand.org/?3542819">http://www.pokerhand.org/?3542819" title="http://www.pokerhand.org/?3542819">http://www.pokerhand.org/?3542819">http://www.pokerhand.org/?3542819">http://www.pokerhand.org/?3542819">http://www.pokerhand.org/?3542819">http://www.pokerhand.org/?3542819 omg i will never complain about running bad again because i held in the biggest pot of my entire life by far and it feels amazing. after this hand effective stacks were ~8k and i really didn't want to play that deep so i took a break and the game broke shortly afterwards.

k life updates: i play drums semi-frequently and i have been trying to get more involved in music again. i play dw collector's finish ply maple drums and sabian cymbals. i just got a great new vintage 21" sabian medium ride and it sounds amazing; very complex and dark. hopefully when i move to pittsburgh i will be able to get involved in a few projects which should be great for balance. also, i sent my ps3 back to sony to be fixed after getting the yellow light of death, and i got an email yesterday that said they shipped it back to me. so i should be able to start watching some blu rays and playing video games again, thank god! my current netflix include the three matrix movies on blu ray and there will be blood. i will post reviews when i finish them. hope all is well, vin

my name is vincent and i'm starting this blog for updates on poker and life. i play mostly 400nl and 600nl 6m on ftp right now (my sn is annabella maria). in addition to poker content this blog will also contain movie and video game reviews and general life ramblings (if i am able to keep up with it!)

november was a stressful month; it was the first time i've started cutting my teeth at msnl again after a large amount of cashouts and a several month stint at 200nl. my life has been in relative disarray for quite a while, so i'm looking forward to trying to get things together. i ended +4k in poker and rb and +4.7k in a steaking aggreement that ended. a good month imo, but the graf looks like a mountain and it makes me sad. im planning on getting coaching from some excellent players in december and trying to keep the msnl shot alive. my biggest problem afaik is emotional toughness; i tend to carry a negative mindset over from a losing session and end up in slumps fairly often where im playing bad, running bad and letting it effect my entire life. i'm aware of the problem though, and i'm going to put a lot of effort into solving it.

i want to have movie and video game reviews in this blog as well; i watch a lot of movies and play a lot of video games but my ps3 just busted so there will be fewer reviews until i get that taken care of. i'm planning on moving to pittsburgh on jan 1st to live with my great friend scott (aceskay on ftp) which i'm really excited about. k hope all is well, vin
