Ted Forrest won his infamous http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/poker-blog/2010/07/ted-forrest-i-wanted-to-show-that-the-impossible-was-possible-1109-2010-wsop-90.php">$2
million weight loss dollar prop bet with Mike Matusow yesterday.
He lost 50 lbs within two months, actually less time, to go from 188lbs
to 138lbs. Ted swore that he didn't do it for the money, but rather
"Somebody I care about very much needed to see that the impossible is

So if Ted had been offered a gentleman's bet of a $1 instead, would

money weren't involved? Money is the motivator. Our drive to
accomplish some difficult feat or challenge plays a role, but if money
weren't attached as an end goal, how many of these prop bets would ever
happen?
I respect your drive and determination, Ted, but please spare me the
"I did it to prove a pointa. Frankly, I don't see any of those honor
bets made in the poker world.
