Taking a break

I'm going to take the rest of the month off of poker., I been getting outdrawns like there is no tomorrow. I'm down about 15 buyins in the last 3 days of play, the beats I been taken are so sick that it make me want to puke. Some of the lost was resulted of tilt. but its so hard to control when your opponents are hitting runner runner or 1 outer on you repeatedly. Hopefully things will get better next month.

I have been pretty busy the last couple of months and haven't been playing much. I played a couple games of PLO $25 and Sit and Go PLO $11 over the holiday, I think PLO is such a great game, its really fun to play. The one thing that I don't like about PLO and need to get use to is the variance in the game, it can drive you crazy at time.

For the new year, I'm hoping to play a lot of PLO and hopefully get better at it. I watched a lot of Stinger and Brain Townsend vids and it gave me a pretty good basic understanding of the game. The videos are really good and I highly recommend anyone looking to learn PLO to watch them, it will greatly improve your game.

Not starting off too well

I played about 3000 hands of Nl 25 this week and things are not going well at all, I lost 8 buyins. I watched a couple of videos this week and learned a lot from it, but it probaly not going to make me a winning player just yet. I'm going to continue to watch as many videos as i can and try to improve my game. My bankroll is now at $800 and I'm going to move down to NL10 tomorrow and try to learn the game from this level as it won't cost me much. I have so much leaks in my game and going to try my hardest to fix it as much as I can.

I'have been trying to learn how to use Poker Tracker and Pokerace and I have watched the CR videos on it, but I still haven't fully understand how to use it. I'll just play around with it and hopefully I'll figure how to use it. Hopefully I'll put up some winning sessions and boost my confident a bit.

Just join Card Runner

I just join Card Runner today and I wanted to start this blog to keep track of my progress. I been playing poker for about 3 years now, I started playing home games with my friend when we were in college. I started playing online poker about a year ago, mainly low limit sit & go and MTT. I usually deposit about $50 at a time and usually go bust, lol. Hopefully things will change after watching videos and participating in forum discussions.

My friend transfer $1000 that he owe me to my FT account and I'm probaly going to begin my online poker journey by playing NL 25, low lmit sit & go and MTT until i improve my game. My goal is to improve my game, move up in stakes and make a $1000 a month playing poker, I think its achievable combining winnings and rakeback. I want to use the extra $1000 to invest for my retirement and save it to purchase a house.
