First day at the tables

So, then I was back at the table. The poker gods hated me in the beginning, and I was down 4,5 bi on just coolers. Then my draws started hold up, and people shoved AK into my AA two times and after exactly 2,6k hands I was a little better than even on my comeback.

I have played 6h and 40min poker today. Always between 3-6 tables, because I am not going to change money with the regs at these stakes since the rake is hugh, and there are a lot of fish. So I am constantly in the lobby to look for soft games.

Of todays 6 biggest pots I won one. And there I was around 1:2 dog, so it seems like you should be a dog to win money ;)

Well, I am happy that the day didnt become a red one. And instead of winning money in pots I have earned like 2 bi on just rakeback.

Prepared to climb in stakes

Since I a couple of days ago decided that I should start playing poker again, to earn some extra money, and fill my sparetime with someting, I have searched for new good rakeback deals. I already have 55% on a big european site which is pretty sweet, and there is a lot of nits so its not that hard to beat the micros there. But I felt that I needed some other sites to play on to, just because I can't be sure that this deal will exist forever since its an "under the table" deal.

So today I got a phonecall from a guy at a swedish rakeback provider, that said he had a great deal to offer for me, it is 60% rakeback, plus a $4k rakerace every month. Maybe I will not cash in it the first couple of months, since I am playing at the micros, but probably soon. And if it is the same amount of points that is needed to cash in the race in about 3-4 months, it is like 20-25% extra rakeback for me. So if I reach atleast the smallstakes I will have a deal that is similar to 80-85% rakeback which is totally crazy. This is also on an european network and one of the biggest skins on the network so it feels pretty good.

For this weekend I will watch a lot of videos, thinking about concepts and so on to come back to poker thinking. And then I will start play on monday. I am really damn excited to get started and I hope I hit a heater right away so I don't have to play at the micros for a long time. It is 40 buyins that is the rule, and I will not make any exceptions to that.

Btw, I have to learn to run better to. Here is my graph last time I played 10nl for like a week before I quit last time.

Let's give poker a try

Yo, I'm from Sweden!

I have been playing poker since I went 18, now I am 21. All this time has been some grind and then like a half years break. I have just started to study at a school again, and am going to try earn some extra money by poker since I have a very slacky schedule in school.

I started out grinding some 4NL, 10NL, 20/25NL and 50NL. Last year I was a regular at 50NL, but I wasn't in mood to grind at the place I lived by then. Right now I am living where I am living in the same city as I am born in, and will probably feel more comfortable and hopfully grind up and atleast be a reg at midstakes before I quit school next summer.

NLH 6max is what I am going to play, because its in these games its most easy to find fishes. You can probably find a lot of fishes in fullring to, but I do like the action that 6max games give.

Let's start over at 10NL and then atleast reach 50NL before January 2012.

Goals for September:
Play atleast 30k hands

Goals for 2011:
Play atleast 100k hands
Never play with under 40 buyins
Not play any other games than 6max NLH cash game
Only play at sites where I have the best rakeback %

Lifetime goals:
Stop play and take a run if feeling the tilt
Never set up any moneygoals since the variance can ruin them
Be able to follow the BRM plan of 40 buyins always!!
