Well, I have officially killed this challenge. Besides my lack of time at the tables, when I do play I have been running horrendously and then that tilts me after a couple hours of beat after beat.

I just withdrew the last ~250 that i had in the account and will be taking a little break. I am thinkin about playin some PLO when I do get back at it. I really enjoy the vids I have seen from gordo and I heard that stinger was gonna do some soon.

Anyway, I am very disappointed in my play and my lack of emotional control at the tables. I am going to attribute alot of it to some off the tables stuff that I got going on with family and work, etc. So, that being said I realize the importance of a BR and being able to control your emotions regardless of how you are running and playing. I take full responsibility for my bad play and the fact that I lost money during this challenge. It was my fault for not recognizing the tilt monkey approaching and not stopping when it got bad.

So I will be taking a little break. Watching every PLO and HU vid I can find and seeing if I fair any better in the PLO arena.

To all those who actually read this blog, SORRY. I will see if I can get something else going in the future.

summary, played way out of my BR tonight (100nl), won $25, and cleared a $50 bonus from PS that i forgot about. I ran ok , stats (30/24/1.88....what u think? too loose for 6 max?)

Anyway, i broke my rules for the challenge, but no harm done.....I will be back to the grindstone soon.

...went Ok. Stats were 25/18/4.2 and I won a whopping $1.60....that is right one dollar and sixty cents. I kept getting it in pretty good and just couldnt get things to hold. I made a very bad play early with AKs, but other than that I feel like I play good.

Hope to get in a decent session in tomorrow, before Daytona, and definitely after the race.

As for poker I havent gotten to play at all since my last session, work has been a little wierd and i have been worn out when I got home and I hate playin tired. But I got a long weekend b/c of the prez day holiday monday, so I definitely plan on playing a few sessions this weekend.

and it went well. I decided to move to 6 max games (25nl) and 4 table and see how it goes and I know it is just one session, but i felt very comfortable playing my style at the 6 max games. I think it fits better there, than at the full ring.

I played for a little over 1 and 1/2 hours and got 296 hands. Stats were 25/16/1.88. I won $72 and felt in control of the table the entire time. I think I am gonna run the 6max for a little bit and see how those go. I am very happy with the session and hope to keep it going.

I am up $108.40, since the start of my challenge and I am ready to get some hands in, now that my car has been totaled and I settled on that and I got my new Jeep. I feel very comfortable and that is a good thing.

On a side note, I live in Dickson, TN - which for those who donot know that is about 30 miles West of Nashville - I am fed up with this up and down bullshit weather. Pick a season mother fuckin nature and stick with it for a bit. Everybody I know, from work to home, are sick. And it can be attributed to the up and down temp changes. I just cant wait for spring to spring and I can get back on the golf course and start reworking my game. When I stopped playin 2 years ago, I was a 3 handicap and I was moving toward scratch, and that will obv be the goal for the new season.

It is a 2007 Jeep Wrangler X Unlimited. And yes, those are wide ass - 18's.

I signed the papers on it this morning. I have a few aftermarket additions I would like to make, i.e. Fog Lamps, Step Rails, and Brush Gaurd. But that is all for now. As pissed as I was that my car was totaled, I am that happy with the new ride.

Can't wait to get it dirty.....

I haven't been able to play much this week b/c we are trying to finish our upstairs bonus room (adding 500 sqft to our home), and the HVAC guys have been here all weeka nd I have been dealing with a few other things at work.

Then tonight I let my brother-in-law borrow my car and he totaled it. I mean TOTALED IT!!!!!!!!!!!! hit a culvert pipe at the end of a drieway and flipped the car on its hood. He was fine, but the car obv wasn't. Everything should be cool, as I have Ins and I even paid for the GAP ins. (which I even think is a rip off most the time, but thank god I didn't listen to myself this time) so they should take care of the unpaid balance (if there is one).

So as you can, I am in the market for a new vehicle. I have always wanted a Jeep Wrangler and I have been looking to getting one of those, but anybody got any suggestions. I am not that Balla, so layoff the Bentley's, BMW's and Benzo suggestions. I am just a TN redneck at heart, and ballin' 'round here, consists of Drinkin' Beer and goin muddin'

It started off awful and finished OK

I was back playing 4 tables of 25 nl, and it was one of those nights where I got all my huge hands cracked, and never cracked anybody else. I dropped like 5 buyins, roughly before I decided to take a break.

I came back and was surfin the tables when I noticed a big fish sittin .25/.50 nl HU with 3 buyins. So I decided to take a shot at him (he has been very profitable for me in the past). I play very solid HU poker and long story short I pickup almost all I dropped at 25nl earlier. I dropped $8.20 on the night, not too shabby.

But I know, I know, I should not have sat at the HU table and played and I have scolded myself and it might not happen again....I am really gonna try, but I really like the HU and there are some sick fish there. I guess they will have to wait till I get a little more scratch built up then I can run things there.

Here is the graph from tonight...I had some issues with stars and PT right at the begining of the night, and it appears that some of the hands early on arent there, but I think it is only off a few bucks....like 5-6. This thing is crazy for 1 night

You can see where I started playin HU...around 800 hands....

Anyway, all in all, it wasnt that bad a night
