Todays session

Blog by : Takaa
0

Wow i write a second entry in one month, its amazing.

Lets give you a recap of my session totday.
I started playing hu vs a villian wich i had a pretty solide read on. We where playing two tables and at one point i was up 650. Later i last like 350 back to him and i quite.

I told myself that i had to quite for today. I dont know why but sometimes i have such a feeling....

Anyway i saw a guy sitting with a 44.50 stack or something like that. I WANTED THAT MONEY, (cheap basterd i know) so i stat down..

To make al long story short (well it was actually pretty short 150-200 hands) i lost like 500-600 to him. I was on M O N S T E R tilt.

Afterwords i was so pissed, I have to controle myself, btw we both played 70+ / 60+ / 12 it was fun to watch i suppose, i 3betted almost every hand, and he called almost every hand. A high was considerd the nuts in this game.

Iam not a blogger

Blog by : Takaa

Somehow i don't like to wright a blog so much, But mewh lets just do it. I guess once a month must be doable....

I continued to play hu as my main game. Since the last entry i have played some 200nl hu as well, but i lost 5 bi's against one opponnent and i decided to get my a$zz back to 100nl and learn to quite a player whenever I want to, not the otherway around.

Besided hu i have been expierimenting with 16-20tabling 100nl full max. The daut vid inspired me. (oh and the fpp porsche :)

I have played +- 15k hands, but the result isnt overwelming, the fpps are.... So i decided it is better to stick with hu.

But sometimes i like to play lots of tables to get my mind of things, and the feed my addiction.

Here is a update on my 100nl hu

see ya in a while,

Btw, thinking about going on vacation to the us, We are thinking of flying to Las vegas, rent a car, drive to hollywood and california etc, where else should we go to? (btw is it fun to drive from california to the east coast, newyork etc)?

Let me know if you have good suggestions,

Takaa

Razz

Blog by : Takaa
0

Today i didnt many hands either.

Du to my limited amout of time at the moment i prefer to play hands up.(I also like the game more at the moment)

In the beginning it whent great, I won 2 buy ins at the 2-4 vs a guy that was not playing to bad, but made some " steamy" calls.

Ok now comes my confession.
I went on MEGA LIFE MONKEY TILT for like 2 minutes..... I was steaming like Hell. I lost 1.5 buy in in those seconds

Soooo there flew the profit away.

Today result:
359 hands for a 1.23 winrate

Btw bough pokertracker stud today. So I will start datamining the goodguys and try to learn from them.
One hand i want to share with you:
Since playing razz I never experienced such a bad feeling before as some hands in razz can give you:
An example of that powerles feeling is:

Hand #4015338013

Tournament - *Razz* (2/4), Ante 0.40, Bring-In 0.50

I_Kissed_Paris (Seat 1): 76.80

bulvine1 (Seat 2): 41.70

*3rd Street* - (0.40 SB)

I_Kissed_Paris: Ah 5s Td___completes___raises___calls

bulvine1: xx xx Jd___*brings-in*___raises___raises

*4th Street* - (8.40 SB)

I_Kissed_Paris: Ah 5s Td Js___*bets*

bulvine1: xx xx Jd Qh___calls

*5th Street* - (5.20 BB)

I_Kissed_Paris: Ah 5s Td Js Th___calls

bulvine1: xx xx Jd Qh 7s___*bets*

*6th Street* - (7.20 BB)

I_Kissed_Paris: Ah 5s Td Js Th 2s___calls

bulvine1: xx xx Jd Qh 7s 2c___*bets*

*River* - (9.20 BB)

I_Kissed_Paris: Ah 5s Td Js Th 2s 5c___calls

bulvine1: xx xx Jd Qh 7s 2c xx___*bets*

*Total pot:* (11.20 BB - 44.80)

I try to be more tilt free in the next periode. I think it will improve my winrate ALOT if i dont tilt of a occasional buy in.(maby i should start to talk in bb instead of buy ins)

Didn't play much

Blog by : Takaa

Today I was busy with school. I had a final assesment for a management report we had to write.
Everything whent smooth and I passed.

In the morning before going to my college I played a couple of Razz hands. I made a small profit after starting down 1 buy in. (can you say buy in, in razz??) Anyway with buy in i mean $40 on a 2-4 table.

I just completed another small session. In lost a couple of bucks to a hit & run artist, but he.. what can you do about it .

Total result: 393 hands
-0.83BB/100

I think I will post a graph of my Razz progress every week, or month, depending on how much i play.
I can already tell you that it is a rollacoaster.... so i have to study the game a bit more i suppose.

That's all for today

Joining the blog madness

Blog by : Takaa
0

Yeah you caught me making a blog entry, I never thought I would do something like it.
But when i'am a super high stakes hitman (uhu like btown) it is nice to read the first words out of my mouth on poker.

So.... Where do you start these things?
Iam a 20 year old student how started playing NLholdem a while ago. After some struggle i run my rol up using conservative br management.
When i was ready to start playing 2-4 I took some shots, but in the mean while I run horrible at the 200nl tables.
So horrible that i stopped taking shots at 400nl (I even made profit over that small sample size :))
I lost like 30 buy ins at 200nl for various reasons.

After that i took a little break. My br was still good enough to handle 200nl, but I decided that 100nl was a better option.

That's where i'am today.

After my break I also started playing Razz. I like the game alot and iam willing to invest time in order to learn the game.

This blog will handle my Razz and my other games progress.

On FTP I play under the name " I_Kissed_Paris"... So if you are a Razz god, stop by at my table and teach me a lesson or 2.

I Will post a Razz hand I Played today.
Beneath the hand i posted my thought proces and questions iam having.
Any comments offcourse are welcome..... (if anybody was able to find and read my blog :P )

Hand #3993325281

Tournament - *Razz* (2/4), Ante 0.40, Bring-In 0.50

I_Kissed_Paris (Seat 1): 50.50

villian (Seat 2): 52.20

*3rd Street* - (0.40 SB)

I_Kissed_Paris: 4h Ah 3c___completes

villian: xx xx 6c___*brings-in*___calls

*4th Street* - (2.40 SB)

I_Kissed_Paris: 4h Ah 3c 8s___raises___raises

villian: xx xx 6c 5h___*bets*___raises___calls

*5th Street* - (5.20 BB)

I_Kissed_Paris: 4h Ah 3c 8s Jc___calls

villian: xx xx 6c 5h Td___*bets*

*6th Street* - (7.20 BB)

I_Kissed_Paris: 4h Ah 3c 8s Jc 5c___raises

villian: xx xx 6c 5h Td 8h___*bets*___calls

*River* - (11.20 BB)

I_Kissed_Paris: 4h Ah 3c 8s Jc 5c As___bets

villian: xx xx 6c 5h Td 8h xx___*checks*___calls

*Total pot:* (13.20 BB - 52.80)

4th

Is it ok to cap here? Because he only called with 6 high, I assumed that he would have raised like 267

5th here I have to assume he made t high and I have j high, so a call is best (correct if wrong )

6th I made my 8 high with good kicker. I don't think he had better then 8 high, and my kicker was better so I raised

7th I betted again on the same reason as on 6th street. Is this wrong because he could have improved, but I miss value if he still has the same hand as I thought he had on 6th

That's it for today
