Arrived home from work a bit later then usual, those guys from NY were finishing up today so took them a bit to make sure everything was tight. Some really smart guys, cool as shit too. Made good with em as well so they'll have my back if I ever need them to :) Good times...

Anyways onto a bit of poker. Last night got home late like I said, but I'm tellin ya, they were out tonight, it was like bein a grizzly bear snaggin the salmon running up some river in alaska. It was grand. I killed two aces, my aces held, my kings held, certainly a + confindence sort of night. And to top it all off 2 frickin days in a row I made positive numbers. God, gotta love that. Getting caught back up from when I spewed all that money on the WSOP Steps lol. Man, I hate that. I'd be that much closer to 25NL had I never done the spew, but oh well, wtf can ya do. Just thankful I've managed to recover and as well realized what I was doing before I totally killed the roll. Some hands maybe to cry about and show off? Let me go fire up PT.

So this hand I lost right. It was my first big loss for the night and happened after I was already up 18 bucks. I mean, in my minds eye I never expected what this guy showed. I had him killed in my mind and was like jumping up and down when he raised my tiny please raise me bet on the river. DOH!

LOLz, what can ya do? This next hand loser as well of course.. KJ again, hate this hand. Misplayed on my part obviously I was beat, I had been hot though so figured I'd call him down like a donkey.

Yeah, nice. This hand I am somewhat pleased with. Almost proud of :) So I open with p10 and flop comes a possible str8 which I didn't think he'd have so I bet it out. He called so I put him on a 6 or flush draw. And I shut the heck down. I was tempted to fire the river but I was like well he made his hand if he has a flush and I still feel like he has a 6 so I checked it down and lost the bare minimum there. Very happy about that hand.

So, onto some weiners... This hand I was going to the felt with in this spot. I felt I could be killed with a set but this guy was 79/24 and I was not giving this up here. LOL at his holding.

Yay king holds =P. Once again I can't get away from top pair. I didn't believe this guy though at any point. I felt he had jack just like he did. Thankfully I was correct. Probably -ev though :(

This next hand is somewhat standard, I was worried on the river though with that scare card, so I didn't bet as big as I wanted to originally. He musta been scared of that card as well probably not wanting to raise me as he originally planned but certainly had to call me.. Tks..

So one last hand for the win. Nice to have some reverse ace gankage.

Ok thats it. Go on, get outta here, go read a blog that is worthwhile and won't bore ya to tears. As always will leave ya with the PT stats and EV Graph from 3/13/08.

Take care,
