A Rough Day Turns Around

Just wanted to share the woe's of poker with you real fast.

I was at a REALLY REALLY good 25/50 game and the table fish coolered me with flopped straight to set, then I ran pretty bad at 5/10 and 10/20, but everything turned around once I got my head out my own butt and said, I can't be upset about losing money, I just need to play right and the money will come, and sure enough I swung back (unexpectedly). It was funny because I actually had to cooler the fish with AA to AK (he played it pretty bad got it in when he turned top pair of Kings) in order to win a buy in back. Sadly the fish left and I busted the Wednesday nightly after losing a HUGE 3 way allin with AA to KK and QQ for 5th in chips, I was near the bubble too :(

I kinda promimsed I wouldn't post too much negative stuff on my blog, and I'm not even sure if this counts since I miraculously came out of the red at the end, but anyways there is a quick update. I am on schedule to have a 60k month which would obviously be pretty huge.

Could you explain how the fish played it badly when he turned TP? With aggro play, not sure how the hand went down and how he should have gotten away from it (I may would have done the same thing, so any advice on how not to be the fish would be helpful). Appreciate it.

first buyin to fish, fish limp called a raise UTG with qto check raised the flop kj9 and i shoved 99.

Second hand fish raised the button and called my SB 3bet with AKo, called the flop low low low rainbow and then shoved to a turn lead of a K, it wasn't horrible it was just he should obviously 4bet pre. Like I said it sucked that I had to cooler him to win my monies back, I didn't really earn it ya know.

Also bobkill, anytime you have AA vs AK in a button to SB confrontation for ~100bbs, and its not AIPF, someone is either really mixing it up or is probably playing a slightly suboptimal game.
